I dropped all 6 seeds using the water method for just under 24 hours. I then switched them to the paper towel method for another 24 hours. I then placed them in standard red solo cups.
For clarification, these kids are FX3 but since it wasn’t available to select I made do. Week three was relatively quiet. A little growth and I am transplanting into one gallons next week.
Last week before they go into the autopots. Great growth. I have been hand bending them until I add lst clips to them. In this challenge, we are only submitting one for final judging. I’m already leaning towards one. Lotus feeding are going well. I water almost every day and feed every 3rd watering.
Girls are in their autopots and all systems ago. Topped them and they’re real happy to be in their final home. Running 7 gallon bags as my 9 gallons were not going to hold up. Slight tares in all of them. Lotus for the win every single time. The Gorilla tent is fairly new for me. I love the look and the height of this monster.
Way more action this week. All of the girls have their Budtrainer clips on. Increased lotus this week and tho I have a couple to few more weeks of veg, I still have not favorite. This competition is 20 weeks from drop to chop. I was going to flip on November 11th, we shall see how they grow now.
The girls bounced back like I did nothing to them. I topped them again. I’ve been told stretch is insane so I’d like to keep them low while I can. Everyone’s plants are looking fantastic and I am really excited. They’re filling out really well and the colors are beautiful!
All of the original clips have been removed and new clips added to the tops. The stalks are are pretty amazing. Added more soil and worm casting on top and defoliated a bit. I’m real pleased with this weeks growth. The tent is definitely bad ass. With the cooler weather, tho warm this week, I think maintaining temps will be easier because she’s definitely thicker. Happy Growing.
Yep, we sure are still in veg with these monsters. Wall to walk now in absolute beauty. I am on vacation but the XXL Autopot 4 pot system really makes it easy to be away. I did have my plant-giver turn off the system as I need to get them out of the tent on Monday to defoliate and do any super cropping that may be needed. Im flipping to flower on Friday November 3rd which will leave me 12 weeks before the cup competition ends.
Completing their first week of bloom. They’ll be measured again on Sunday but going into flower they sat at 42”. There was a runt and I was able to hoist up the xxl autopot to even out the canopy before flipping. I did a heavy defoliation but you’d never know. I’ll wait until stretch is over and really get in there to open up the airflow. Super healthy and very vibrant. Constantly praying and up taking Lotus extremely well. I expect a 10-11 week bloom. Happy growing y’all.
We are completing week three of bloom today. Stretch is coming to an end and I am very glad. They are now to a point where I need a baby ladder to see tops. Tonight I will definitely get in there and clean up some sites that will allow for more airflow and hopefully have some space to get them situated for these next few weeks of packing on the weight. Lotus for the win every single run. And I am in the xxxl 9 gallon autopots and I couldn’t be more pleased with their performance.
Just wrapped up week four of bloom and stretch has come to an end. 71.5” is the final number and I am using a small step stool to get peels in of top colas. I’m definitely noticing the changes coming on with stacking up and the fragrance is sweet like berries. I’m in the extra tall OG Gorilla tent and I am grateful for that. I wouldn’t have the height otherwise. Added Boost by Lotus and I’ve been very happy with this lineup for several runs now. I’m also in the xxl autopot system and I really can’t say enough t good things about them. The girls are just cruising along right now.
Wrapped up week 6 of bloom. The kids are happy and packing on some weight. They’ve really started expressing some purple stand out hues. I was blasted with the strong strawberry terps and the sticky is amazing. I’m thinking 3 to 4 more weeks but we will see how they’re doing.
We’re completing week 8 tomorrow. The girls have really stacked up and smell of delicious strawberry fields. I’ve tapered off on the feedings and continue to utilize the autopot system. Lotus has done it again for the big ole win in my complete satisfaction of a nutrient line up. Chop will be next week or mid week of the following. Happy growing y’all.
