Ohhhh God we are not starting well :) Some "Armadillidium vulgare" started to eat this plant. I was fortunate to find out what he was doing before it was too late for the plant.

Even though it was ate by an armadillo (as you can see in the photos) it's doing well. I applied some "zeolite" (also called rock powder) around the plant to prevent anymore armadillos eating my beautiful plant! The zeolite will later dissolve into the soil and behave as a catalyst for the nutrients and as a supplier of micro elements. I applied only once a nutrient solution (only with Alga-Grow by Plagron) using tap water, but I watered daily using distilled water and rain water.

This week I let the soil dry a lot before watering. This way the roots are going to grow and search for food and water and will eventually make the plant absorb nutrients faster later during the veg period. I watered only twice this week using a solution of tap water, 3 ml/L of Alga Grow and about 10 g/L of unrefined corn syrup. This last ingredient is very important because it feeds the microbiology in the soil making Bio fertilizers more available to the plant especially in overused soils. I also sprayed a solution containing only Alga Grow at the same concentration on the leaves. This week I also started raising the temperature of the environment: the objective is to reach slowly 25° C.

This week started by changing the temperature to the final vegetative temperature which is 25°C. 😳 I watered twice with 1 L tap water (22°C) and 4 ml/L of Alga Grow and I changed the pH of the solution using vinegar: the final EC was 1.6 mS/cm and the final pH was 6,4. I found white dots above the leaves of the plant!! I was worried that thrips got in the tent, but after checking the underside of the leaf and not finding any egg of thrips It turned out that they were just trychomes. 😊 But I found a little fly. This week the first pistils started showing off the nodes! Overall a very good week with a lot of vegetative growth. It's height is 17 cm. This plant has very tight internodal spacing of about 3,4 cm and has a very bushy structure. ------------------------------------------------------------- 👽 LIGHT SETUP: I lowered the intensity of the light to a little less than 50%, but I didn't change the hanging height. Now the plant is about 30 cm from the light. I'm still using IR LEDs.

Is she already starting to flower?? Yes she already started flowering. Note that the photos were taken on day 30. I watered twice with tap water and twice using 1L of tap water and 4 mL of Alga Grow. She's not a tall plant (42 cm) but has a very nice structure with wide and tall branches that reach almost the main cola. ------------------------------------------------------------- 👽 LIGHT SETUP: Same as last week.

@OSGoldskoolgrower, She made it! Another plant didn't make it because they ate the stem :( I tried using some "zeolite" to help recover but didn't work and maybe made it worse
