GrowsHimself Noticed calcium deficiency on both plants, added a dose of calmag to watering and scaled all nutes right back as they potentially have a nutrient lockout (I have heard anecdotally of this occurring with Biobizz nutes when following their schedule). otherwise both ladies are growing really nicely and buds are really starting to form. I lightly defoliate the lower older leaves regularly for air flow and also as these leaves won’t be doing much photosynthesis (most photosynthesis occurs within the newly growing top layers)

GrowsHimself Plant 1 growing pretty well and seems to be responding nicely to the reduced fed of top max, calmag and microbes. Plant 2 really unhappy, I’m fairly certain the issue is ph due to the soft water in my area awaiting a replacement ph tester. Will continue with light feeding for another week at least.

GrowsHimself Plant one seems to be really doing welll and showing signs that she is wanting some nitrogen, will slowly increase. Plant 2 is responding to reduced feeds but nowhere near as healthy as plant 1.

GrowsHimself Both ladies still showing signs of stress, however buds are starting to swell quite nicely. I have never grown greenhouse genetics before and have never had a problem this bad on any of my other grows following same schedules.

GrowsHimself Removing as many damaged leaves as I can, inspire of all of their issues both ladies are getting pretty stacked out, I wonder if the buds would have developed even larger if they weren’t struggling with deficiencies. Other than the genetics not being the best (first time growing Greenhouse Seeds) the other culprit could be the use of light mix. Previously I had always used all mix for autos and only encountered a similar problem once and it was not even close to as severe. I think the combination of light mix and my tap water are resulting in nutrient lockouts.

GrowsHimself Harvested plant 2 early as I was fed up looking at her and wanted to plant something new 😅 letting plant 1 go until I’m happy with amber percentage. Managed to smoke a little early sample and was pretty happy with the early preview. I’m continuing to fertilise and water until harvest, I never flush and don’t bother with a dark period.
Definitely the most difficult grow I’ve had to date, I think the use of Lightmix substrate and my water supply being very soft has led to deficiencies and lock out.

GrowsHimself Happy with the amber percentage so chopped her down today 17/01/24. Some quick trimming of biggest fan leaves and then into dryer before it’s full dry trim.
Final dry weight after trim 116.8g
If you are using a pre-fertilized soil, you wont need fertilizers up to the 5th week,, I am using Bobizz Grow+Bloom+Topmax too and I never had such problems following their schedule, just be sure to alternate with water. That looks like an accumulation of minerals, the plant is clearly telling you with those yellowish bended leaves that she isn't able to absorb nitrogen, so stop giving minerals such as calmag or other fertilizers with an high percentage of P-K. To solve this issue i suggest to give only Topmax (1ml per liter) added to the water for the next 2 weeks, it will help the roots absorbing the excesses, rebalacing the soil.
Yes she smells pretty close in my opinion. Definitely quite heavy on the peppery and musky fragrance with a sweet skunky smell beneath the stronger musk. I’m so desperate to sample some but I’m behaving myself and waiting till she’s done 😅
@BrigadeDesTerps, thank you kindly. Both ladies have been finicky but I’m going to drag them over the finish line, I’m actually quite impressed with the frostiness considering all the stress :D

@drgrower86, I’ve only encountered this issue on one other grow previously. Must be roughly 10+ harvests without ever encountering issues following the schedule. I will definitely be scaling back the nutes though, thanks for the advice
@BarneyRumble420, thanks brother! I’m very happy with her yoeld and she is smoking really nice. I’d like to try and grow again to see if I can avoid some of the issues 😅
