Hi Growmies,
Today marks the start of an exciting chapter in my indoor garden, as I ha e popped two Epic Buzz, an exceptional strain from Anesia Seeds. This feminized strain is notable for several reasons:
1. Genetic Composition: It's a hybrid with 70% Indica and 30% Sativa, resulting from crossing Future #1 and Blackberry Moonrocks. This combination is expected to yield an extraordinary blend of potency and aroma.
2. Potency: Epic Buzz is known for its high THC content, reaching up to 36.5%. I'm eager to experience the effects of this potent strain.
3. Flavor Profile: The flavor is described as a sweet, intense mix of red berries, grapes, vanilla, and lemon, promising a unique and delightful tasting experience.
4. Growth and Yield: The strain offers good indoor yield potential, with about 500g/m² expected. The flowering time is approximately 8 to 9 weeks.
5. Overall Expectations: With its robust genetics and unique characteristics, I'm excited to see how Epic Buzz will develop in my indoor setup.
Cultivation Details:
I've planted two seeds of Epic Buzz in 13cm net pots filled with Speedgrow Green rockwool cubes. For now, these net pots are placed under a dome, being dripped on once a day for 15 minutes. They will remain under this dome until my small box becomes vacant, which will happen once the Pineapple Chunk has been moved out. Following this, I'll select the stronger of the two seedlings and will put her in my 20 l DWC to be mainlined under a ScrOG setup.
Personal Notes:
A huge thank you goes out to Xavi at Anesia Seeds and the entire Anesia family for generously sponsoring the seeds for this diary. Your support is immensely appreciated and enables me to delve deeper into the world of cannabis cultivation.
I'm looking forward to sharing the growth journey of Epic Buzz, detailing its development under these specific cultivation conditions.
Stay tuned for more updates.
It's been a week since the inception of my journey with Epic Buzz, and I'm thrilled to report significant progress. The past seven days have been a blend of anticipation, observation, and learning. Here's a snapshot of the week's highlights:
Both Epic Buzz seeds sprang to life after a mere three days in rockwool croutons sourced from speedgrowgreen. This quick germination is a promising start to their growth journey.
The seedlings have been nourished with a mix of reverse osmosis (RO) water, Rhizotonic, and Orca. This combination seems to be working wonders, as both plants are developing robustly.
I observed some signs of tip burn, likely due to the 2-liter reservoir running low. However, this issue was promptly rectified once I replenished the reservoir with RO water. The plants quickly bounced back to their healthy state.
Apart from the brief tip burn episode, the plants are in excellent health. Their vibrant growth is a source of excitement, and I eagerly await the next stages of their development.
A significant milestone is on the horizon. Once the first roots emerge from the net pot, one of the plants will be relocated to a larger 20-liter reservoir. This move is anticipated to further bolster its growth and vigor.
Observing the resilience and rapid development of Epic Buzz has been a truly rewarding experience. The journey ahead promises more learning and, hopefully, bountiful results.
Stay tuned for the next update, where I'll share more about the transplant process and the continued growth of these fascinating Epic Buzz plants.
Week 2 Veg Update on Epic Buzz by Anesia Seeds
As we enter the second week of vegetation, our Epic Buzz seedlings are embracing their new home with vigor.:
One of the seedlings has been carefully moved to the 20-liter reservoir. It has adapted well to its new environment, showcasing an impressive array of roots throughout the net pot, indicating healthy and robust development. Both plants are progressing as expected, with no significant issues to report. The steady growth and absence of complications suggest that the conditions in my indoor setup are well-tuned to the needs of Epic Buzz. The images captured this week show that the roots are not only healthy but thriving. They have begun to colonize the net pot, which is a strong indicator of the plant's potential for nutrient uptake and overall growth. With the transplant successful and the roots establishing themselves, I'm keen to see how the increased space and resources will accelerate growth. I expect that the coming week will bring even more visible progress as the plants continue to mature. Watching the Epic Buzz seedlings transition smoothly into the vegetative phase is both rewarding and exhilarating. The absence of any noteworthy problems speaks volumes. I'm looking forward to observing their journey and sharing their growth milestones with the community.
Stay tuned for next week's entry, where I hope to report on the continued prosperity and vigor of Epic Buzz in its critical vegetative stage.
Hi Growmies,
Here we are at the four-week mark of our Epic Buzz's vegetative stage. I must start with an apology for missing last week's update. Rest assured, our Epic Buzz has been far from neglected during this time. This week's entry is a celebration of resilience and flourishing growth.
Let’s delve into the details:
Despite the reservoir not being changed in the last 14 days, our Epic Buzz has shown remarkable resilience. A modest addition of Orca and a bit of boost to feed the fungi has been more than sufficient.
The plant has become a spectacle of health within the reservoir, developing an intricate root ball and sporting sizable fan leaves. This vigorous growth is a clear indicator of the strain's robust genetics and its compatibility with the hydroponic environment.
All side branches have been intentionally removed to direct the plant’s energy towards vertical growth, a technique that's paying off with the plant’s current stature.
The light intensity remains at a conservative 25% to encourage stretching. This cautious approach is shaping the plant into a true beauty, with an ideal structure that should transition well into the flowering stage.
As we edge closer to the flowering phase, anticipation builds. The plant’s current vigor gives me high hopes for its performance during blooming. The sight of the Epic Buzz in its vegetative glory is a promising prelude to the potential explosion of flowers.
I apologize for the gap in updates, but I assure you, the progress of our Epic Buzz has been unwavering. Its current form is a testament to the strain's excellence and adaptability. As we approach the flowering stage, I can't help but feel excited about the possibilities that lie ahead.
Stay tuned for the next entry, where I'll cover the transition into flowering and the ongoing evolution of Epic Buzz's growth journey.
Hi Growmies
We're at week six with our Epic Buzz cultivation, and it’s been a period of unexpected turns and impressive recoveries. As we navigate the complexities of growing, each challenge brings with it a wealth of learning. Here’s the latest:
Unfortunately, one of the Epic Buzz plants hermaphroditized, an unforeseen event that could have jeopardized the entire grow. The cause remains a mystery, but such occurrences remind us of the unpredictable nature of plant genetics. Taking no risks, I removed the hermaphroditic plant to prevent any possible contamination. It was a tough decision, but necessary to maintain the integrity of the grow space and the health of the remaining plant. Thankfully, a backup plant was kept on standby, proving to be a prudent move. This sibling was quickly transplanted into the deep water culture (DWC) system to take over the grow. The new contender received an aggressive feeding regime, consisting of a high dose of Orca and a touch of Canna Boost delivered directly into the net pot. The response to this treatment has been nothing short of extraordinary. The result of this week's intensive care is a root system so expansive that it has taken over the entire net pot, even venturing out of the top. This is a clear sign of a vigorous and thriving plant, ready to absorb all the nutrients needed for lush growth. With the roots establishing dominance in their environment, we're on the cusp of transitioning to the flowering stage. The robust root system should provide a solid foundation for the plant to support the energy-intensive process of flowering. The sudden turn of events with the hermaphroditic plant was a stark reminder of the unpredictability inherent in cannabis cultivation. However, the resilience and rapid recovery displayed by its sister is a testament to the robustness of the Epic Buzz strain. With such a powerful root system in place, I am more eager than ever to see how she will perform in the flowering phase.
I look forward to sharing the ongoing progress of our Epic Buzz. Keep an eye out for the next update, where I hope to discuss the transition into flowering and the continued development of this exceptional plant.
Hi Growmies
Eight weeks into our cultivation journey, Epic Buzz has shown a resilience and robustness that exemplifies the best of indoor growing. The transition from vegetative to flowering is a critical time, and our plant is meeting it with a vitality that bodes well for the coming bloom. Here’s what’s happening:
The root system of Epic Buzz is nothing short of spectacular, having completely filled and begun to overflow the confines of the net pot. Such vigorous root growth is a sure sign of a healthy and thriving plant. Since being topped, the Epic Buzz has recovered admirably, pushing out a lush canopy of large fan leaves and new growth sites. This process is crucial for maximizing yield and ensuring even light distribution across future bud sites. The plant has been moved under the Sanlight Q4V2 and has had its light cycle switched to 12/12 to initiate flowering. This change marks the beginning of a new phase of growth, one that will see the plant mature and start to form buds. The plant has been diligently cared for with a feeding regime tailored for this stage of growth, with a high dosage of Orca and Canna Boost to fortify its vigor as it transitions into flowering. With the Biscotti strain nearing the end of its cycle, Epic Buzz will soon have a dedicated space to expand and flourish. The next move will be into a tent where it can truly shine as it enters the full flowering phase.
The journey with Epic Buzz continues to be a source of pride and excitement. As we move into the flowering stage, each new development brings anticipation for what's to come. The strength and beauty of the plant at this stage—lush, green, and full of life—are the rewards of careful tending and a passion for growing.
Stay tuned for the next update, where I'll share the early flowering developments and the plant's adjustment to its new home.

Hi Growmies,
As we reach the tenth week of nurturing our Epic Buzz, the plant's journey through the flowering stage is showcasing the dynamic nature of cultivation. In recent days, the Epic Buzz has hit a significant milestone, completing its vertical stretch—a clear sign that the energy will now be redirected towards budding along the colas. The structure of the plant, with its statuesque colas reaching upwards, is now set, creating an elegant scaffold for the buds that will soon start to form and elongate along these supportive spires.
The Epic Buzz's voracious intake of water continues unabated, signaling a system in full swing, eager for the nutrients and hydration that will fuel the forthcoming bud development. This is a plant in its prime, with a root system so efficient and healthy that it brims out of its pot, a network of life that has become the engine for the lush foliage above.
In observing the Epic Buzz, one cannot help but admire the visual harmony it presents. The symmetry of its growth, the healthy sheen on the fan leaves, and the promise of future blooms are a canvas of living art. The measured approach to topping and training earlier in its life has shaped a plant that is not just healthy but a delight to behold.
I believe that with the stretching phase behind us, we can now look forward to the next phase where the buds will begin to form and stretch along the colas, promising an exciting period of development. The anticipation for the swelling and maturation of the buds is palpable, but for now, we focus on the promise that each new day of growth brings.
This grow has been a labor of love, and as we transition from one growth phase to the next, my hopes for Epic Buzz continue to soar. I invite you to stay with me on this journey, as the coming weeks will bring the transformation we've been nurturing towards.

Hello Growmies,
We're now at week 11 with our Epic Buzz, and the flowering stage is hitting its stride. The buds are making their presence known, stretching around the colas in a spectacular display, and I'm starting to see the early stages of trichome production. This glittering onset is a clear indicator that our plant is entering a peak phase of resin production.
In response to this, I've increased the resin-specific nutrients to support and enhance this natural process. Epic Buzz is proving to be quite the thirsty one, almost depleting her 2-liter daily water ration, which has led to a few challenging moments. The small reservoir size has resulted in occasional nutrient lockouts due to the rapid water consumption. However, I've adapted quickly, now refilling the reservoir every two to three days to keep ahead of these issues.
These adjustments in our watering schedule are critical, as they prevent the water level from falling too low, which could stress the plant and impede her progress. It's a delicate dance of vigilance and response, ensuring that Epic Buzz receives the consistent care she needs to flourish.
As we move deeper into the flowering phase, the anticipation grows each day. Watching the buds develop and the trichomes proliferate is a daily joy, a reminder of why we cultivate these wonderful plants. With each challenge overcome and every new development, the bond between grower and plant strengthens.
I'm looking forward to what the next weeks will bring us. The final stages of flowering are always the most exciting, as we watch the fruits of our labor come to full maturity. I'll be here, keeping a close eye on our Epic Buzz, ready to share all the updates with you.

Hello Growmies,
Week 12 with our Epic Buzz is showing us just how remarkable this plant truly is. The development has been nothing short of amazing, and there's an electric sense of anticipation for what's to come, not only with this beauty but also with the future Epic Buzz cultivars.
The plant has fully embraced its flowering stage, with the buds stretching along the colas and starting to display a frosty coat of trichomes. These sticky crystals are not just limited to the buds; some of the larger fan leaves are getting their share of the sparkle too. The buds themselves are clustering so tightly around the colas that they're beginning to fill in the gaps, giving rise to the hope that they might just form those perfect, gapless spears we all aim for.
Observing the plant, we see a thriving, verdant structure; a tapestry of green that stands tall and proud under the glow of the grow lights. The canopy is dense, the stems are sturdy, and the overall health of the plant is exemplified by the vibrancy of its leaves and the rapid development of its buds. The setup, with its careful arrangement of lights and ventilation, creates an ideal micro-environment for growth—a harmonious space where Epic Buzz can express its genetic potential to the fullest.
Each picture is a snapshot of a different angle, revealing the uniformity of the growth and the care that's been put into maintaining such a healthy grow. The close-ups of the buds show the trichomes starting to build up, hinting at the potency and flavor that await.
It’s clear that the Epic Buzz is on a stellar path, and with the diligent care, it’s receiving—regular feedings, reservoir top-ups to prevent any more lockouts, and the optimal light schedule—it's all set to continue on this trajectory.

Hello Growmies,
We’re sailing into week 13 of flowering with our Epic Buzz, and she’s taking up nutrients like a champ. Her appetite has grown to a robust 2.5 liters of nutrient solution a day, prompting me to stay vigilant with reservoir top-ups every three days. With the flower stretch winding down, I’m prepping to add PK 13/14 to her diet, aiming to bolster her as she enters the final stage of bloom.
The marks of a previous hiccup when the reservoir ran low are visible, leaving a few leaves to yellow with chlorosis. Yet, most of her foliage remains lush and unaffected, a reassuring sign of her overall vigor. I’ve opted to keep the blemished leaves to avoid any additional stress that might come with their removal.
Beneath the foliage, a network of healthy roots is hard at work, supporting the development of dense, trichome-rich buds that are starting to resemble golf balls in size. These buds are clustering around the colas with the promise of closing up any gaps, a sight that’s building my anticipation for what’s to come.
The snapshots of Epic Buzz reveal her current state: a resilient plant pushing forward, her unaffected leaves standing out against the backdrop of her less fortunate counterparts. The canopy is speckled with trichome-laden buds, each one a testament to the careful balance of watering and feeding that has been maintained.
As we prepare for the addition of PK 13/14, it's with a watchful eye and an eager mind, knowing that each adjustment now can have significant impact on the harvest.
Stay tuned for more updates, Growmies. We’re on the brink of seeing how our Epic Buzz responds to the final touches of her feeding schedule as we edge closer to harvest.

Hello Growmies,
Week 14 in the flowering stage has delivered a welcome burst of growth for our Epic Buzz, affirming the effectiveness of the PK 13/14 addition. The buds have responded with an enthusiastic swell, stretching out in a display of potential that indicates the timing for the flower stretch was spot on.
Despite the joy of an aromatic tent, there's been a slight hiccup with the filtration system. The intensity of the scent has outpaced the capabilities of my new Secret Jardin Carbon Filter, which hasn't lived up to the longevity of previous ones. Thankfully, with a spare filter added to the exhaust, we've managed to neutralize the odorous evidence of our thriving plant.
The physical support of the plant became a necessary focus as the back main colas, heavy with dense buds, started to tip the balance. Resourcefulness came into play with some ties to the ceiling, ensuring stability for continued upward growth without any risk of toppling.
The latest pictures showcase a remarkable transition. The colas stand tall, heavily frosted with trichomes, while the buds have fattened to an impressive size, hinting at a satisfying harvest to come. The leaves, a few with the yellowing edges of hard work and past stress, don't detract from the overall vibrancy of the plant. These older leaves will naturally give way as the plant dedicates itself to the buds, a process we're now observing.
Beneath the surface, the roots tell a story of health and eagerness, their robust structure pulling in the nutrients that fuel the flowers above. The buds themselves, each a potential powerhouse of flavor and effect, are a testament to the care and attention invested over these weeks.
Moving forward, the structural reinforcement will hopefully allow the plant to focus all her energy on the final maturation of her buds. The expectation of harvesting these dense, resin-packed colas is building with each passing day.
Stay tuned for the upcoming updates, Growmies, as we navigate the final stages of flowering and look forward to reaping the rewards of our labor.
Stay Lifted, Salokin.
Hello Growmies,
We’re at week 15, and our Epic Buzz is showing some serious gains. The plant has been swelling so much that it's barely managing to hold itself up. An inspection reveals a coat of trichomes adorning the surface, with calyxes continuing to expand noticeably. It's as if each day brings a new level of plumpness to the buds, pushing the boundaries of what seemed possible just a week ago.
From the images, we can observe the heavy load the stems are carrying. The top colas are thriving with density, their surfaces a landscape of rich, sticky trichomes, the kind that promise potency and depth. While the overall structure of the plant leans heavily, a testament to the weight it bears, there's an elegance to this droop, speaking to the fullness it's achieving.
In terms of care, there's a significant change in our approach – no more PK 13/14. We've seen the best of what it can do, and now it's time to let pure, reverse osmosis water do the talking. This shift will ensure that we're not overloading the plant with nutrients and will help us to start the flushing process gently, easing into the final stages of flowering.
The result of this can be seen in the leaves that are starting to yellow, a natural progression indicating that the plant is consuming the last of its nutrient reserves. Meanwhile, the roots, those unseen heroes, continue to draw up the necessary sustenance, fuelling this impressive final push.
We’re now on the precipice of full maturity, where each day counts double. I'm keeping a close eye, ensuring the reservoir stays topped up every few days to keep her hydrated without causing undue stress.
As we approach harvest, it's a balancing act of watchfulness and patience. The once-dominant aroma now fills the space with a subtler, sweeter scent – a prelude to the bounty that awaits. I’ll keep tweaking the environment, making sure our lady finishes strong.
Stay lifted, Salokin.
Hello Growmies!
We've reached the remarkable week 16 with our tenacious plant, and the developments are simply astounding. Following a week of dedicated flushing, the plant continues to mature gracefully, showcasing an unwavering commitment to quality as she ripens. I'll maintain the reverse osmosis (RO) water regimen until she ceases sprouting fresh white pistils, a testament to her ongoing development. It's a delicate balancing act, providing enough support for her increasingly heavy branches burdened by significant gains, yet the plant's structural integrity remains a priority.
Visually, the transformation is captivating; she's commencing a magnificent fade, with the unaffected foliage adopting a rich, deep purple hue, bordering on an almost blackish tone – a stunning display of her natural lifecycle. This chromatic shift isn't just aesthetically pleasing; it's a clear sign of the plant's life cycle progressing towards its grand finale. The chlorosis-free leaves, once vibrant and full of life, are now taking on this regal, somber palette, indicating that maturity isn't far off.
Moreover, the trichome-laden buds are a sight to behold, their calyxes continue to swell, and the once slender branches now require additional support to sustain their own weight. It's evident the rigorous cultivation efforts are paying off – the plant's resilience and your attentiveness have aligned perfectly, resulting in an abundance of almost golfball-sized nuggets that shimmer with resin.
Every plant tells a story, and this one is about to reach its crescendo – the careful nurturing, the attentive adjustments to the feeding schedule, and the delicate handling of her structure have all contributed to this moment. As we continue with the RO water and witness the plant's final stages, it's clear that the harvest will be one to remember.
Stay lifted,
Salokin.
Hello Growmies,
Welcome to week 17 of flowering for the Epic Buzz. She's in the twilight of her bloom, draped in deep purples that edge into a near black elegance, standing as a testament to her vigor. The shift to an RO water-only approach has accentuated her natural fading, underscoring the decision to let nature's course run unimpeded. Every branch now requires support; her bountiful colas are a burden of her own success, heavily frosted and radiating a potent aroma that fills the space, betraying her maturity.
Her scent is as intoxicating as it is undeniable, speaking to the culmination of weeks of careful tending and anticipation. A single flower has been reserved for revegging, holding the promise of continuity for this desirable pheno. Her sisters, thriving in a controlled setting, display the same vivacious start, suggesting a robust genetic line.
As this grow diary nears its last entry, it's more than a log of growth—it's a narrative of persistence, skill, and the profound bond between grower and plant. The Epic Buzz has been more than a grow; it's been a journey we’ve taken together.
Stay lifted,
