After changing the battery, the pH reading improved, and after leaving the electrode in hydrogen peroxide V10 for a few hours, the meter started reading higher pHs again; before, when I put it in the water, it showed 5.5. Now it has returned to 7.5 to 8, which is the correct pH for my city.
