I can not not grow.... Anyways, I am going to try out a new germination method I seen in a video to more or less prove or disprove it.
I started the seeds in some distilled water that I also added some hydrogen peroxide to ensure no growth. Should only be under the light for roughly 24 hours or so.
Supposedly the light is supposed to help the seed germinate the tap root much faster.
So, we shall see, I do want to try and train these ladies similarly to my OG Kush lady, but I'm going to gauge them a bit before hand.
Stay tuned.
The experiment with the seed and light was successful. The seed cracked within 18 hours and I put it directly into their final pots and placed seedling domes on top. I also upgraded my humidifier, which I am running distilled in and have been keeping the humidity between 70-90% for this first week.
From there it took about roughly 3 days for the seedlings to breach the surface. I also screwed up a bit and forgot to lower my light, so if you see pheno 1 stretched. I have since readjusted the height of the light.
Growth on these little ladies is fairly explosive even with the cooler temps I've been running. They'll receivce their first water later today(12/10/23).
Thanks for stopping by and see ya next week.
This has been a great week of growth for these ladies, as you can see pheno 1 is off to the races. Pheno 2 isn't too far behind. Pheno 1 is starting to push about 4.5 inches tall while pheno 2 is slightly over 4 inches,
I've been turning the pots a quarter turn every day and I also switch the pot postitions after every water.
Depending on how explosive the growth is this upcoming week, we might begin training. I remember reading another review on this cultivar stating to train her early because of her insanely fast growth.
Thanks for stopping by, liking and commenting. Have a great week!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS GROWMIES!
I'm changing up the feeding chart I'm using for this grow. I decided to use the general hydroponics "Light" feed at 50%.
I honestly did mess up a bit this week, I let the pot get too dry and they were underwatered for a few days unfortunately. They bounced back within a day or so, and the dose of nutes did them good and the growth just took off. I'll be paying closer attention to make sure they're not getting an excessive dryback too early in life, as from most of the research I've done states to dry stress plants in middle to late flower.
They are getting close to be able to bend over, so I'll most likely be doing some LST shortly.
I've also been slowly dialing back the humidity, since its winter here right now, typically RH is around 45-50%
Real excited about these ladies, pheno 1 is gonna be a nice bushy lady. Pheno 2 is stretching a bit more and has throwin some pre-flower pistils already.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Another week down, and these ladies have been growing. As you can see, they stored a lot of nitrogen in those leaves so this feed I cut it back, no calmag and eased back on the micro a bit.
I am back to doing a feed, feed, flush cycle.
Pheno 1 is getting a little crowded with how tight the node spacing is and how massive the leaves are getting. I wanted to try and do as little defoliating this round as possible, so I've been doing a good amount of leaf tucking.
Both ladies are starting to get a nice funky smell to them. There was some abuse such a leaf tears and odd placing of tie downs that ripped and messed up other leaf growth. But other than that I think everything else is running smoothly.
Both ladies have a decent amount of pre-flower pistils that I am sure they'll be making the transition soon.
I hope all you growmies have a great 2024 and here's to some quality and bountiful harvests!
Been a week of adjusting tie downs and the light as the ladies prepped for the stretch into flower.
I would have more pictures to upload of the individual plants, but seems there are still some kinks that need to be worked out on the website.
I can see how these ladies want to grow fairly tall and just be massive plants.
The smell is pretty funky with some fruit notes starting to develop, can't wait to see the flowers these ladies put on.
Issues everywhere, it is super cold here this week and I've been battling the weather inside and out of the grow room. The tent has been stupid cold, so we took some extra precautions to hopefully get the temps back up. Both ladies are suffering but hopefully they'll recover.
I have a lot more pictures but again, this website is fucked.
Hopefully things will get sorted out sooner than later.
Hey Growmies!
Lollipopped them and it only seemed to have pushed these ladies even more...
Atlas Seeds, whatever you guys are doing, keep at it. I have done almost everything to an autoflower people say not to do and I have amazing results. From the cold grow to extra stress by me, I will be purchasing more cultivars from Atlas Seeds.
Definitely interested to see how long these ladies will take to mature, I think I was on pace for a 75 day havest, but we shall see how much long it will take them to recover.
Thanks for stoppin!
Welcome back Growmies!
Temps have been getting better and the weather is has been warming up and snow has been melting, but now it's a battle for RH. Not super worried as I am still in a good range between 40-50% but have noticed it staying higher for a longer period of time after watering and had some minor algae growth.
My tent smells like a weird mix of dirty socks and fruit. Also I've noticed with keeping the temps lower, it is a bit harder to identify the specific smells sometimes as they seem muted, however, it does also seem like the scent is almost a permeable wall once you open then tent.
I have also noticed that pheno 1 is starting to perk back up and not look as droopy compared to pheno 2 who's leaves are always facing upwards.
Pheno 2 also started creating trichomes on the leaves prior to pheno 1. I thought this had to do with the fact that one side of the tent pulled in cool air while the other side pulled in hot. The plant on the cool side produced more trichomes. I also noticed pheno 1 start to do the same when I switched the position of the plants.
I am considering doing a couple of dry backs on them, however I think I have the start of a magnesium deficiency on pheno 2 so I think I'll wait another week to start focusing on a dry back.
Thanks for stopping by and see ya next week!
Both phenos are covered in trichomes and STINKY. Pheno 2 is pretty purple compared to pheno 1 but I do see some areas of purple starting to develop.
I have consistently fed around 6.3-6.5 this entire run and consistently had great runoff numbers.
Both ladies seem like they are on par to be harvested in the upcoming weeks, with Pheno 2 looking like it might finish first, but I think I'm roughly a week or two away from harvest.
Thanks to all of you who have stopped by, liked and commented.
Sidenote, I am extremely happy with the Vivosun fan, I know they don't have to best reputation with growers, but I am pleasantly surprised as their fan and design is similar to some of the top brands in the game, but is half the price.
Hey Growmies!
These ladies only have a few more weeks to go, I think max I'm going to push them is 2 more weeks. Starting to see some amber trichomes, but not enough for me to harvest yet.
I also want these ladies to keep going through senescence, pheno 2 is starting to take on a very nice dark purple tone. I am starting to see it as well in pheno 1.
The smell is amazing and I am excited for these ladies.
I am contemplating rolling 24 on for the last week just to see if I notice any difference in terms of cannabinoid production.
Thanks for stopping by and see ya next week.
What a week, these ladies are very close to harvesting and I might need to do so sooner rather than later. I have been doing some dry back stress that has been going pretty well.
I've noticed that the ladies are putting off way my aromas with the dry back, I've been watering during flower almost every 6 days or do. This last week I sorta screwed up as I let them go 9 days, on day 8 they looked fine. When I watered them yesterday(2/22) They were drooping excessively and were fairly crispy as you can sorta see in some of the pictures.
I also had a temp spike in my tent for some odd reason, I have since adjusted the light back around a foot, had it around 10 inches from the top of the canopy.
Pheno 1 I'm not necessarily happy with, and I started off thinking it was going to be the better of the two. The bud density is lacking compared to how dense Pheno 2 is.
I wish I had better photography skills as Pheno 2's pictures do not do it justice.
I'm really hoping to get at least one more week out of these ladies before chop.
Again, thanks for stopping by and see ya next week Growmies!
Prior to the chop, I had these ladies on a week of 24 hours of light. I have done 48 hours worth of light in the past but wanted to play around with the final week.
I do personally believe the extra light did help produce more terpenes and most likely cannabinoids. I could tell a massive difference in aroma.
I did have temp spikes happen, as I got some unseasonably warm weather.
I do not have the option of drying at 60/60 so I am going to try 70/70 as I seen that is another alternative.
Thank you to all the growmies that stopped by, liked and commented on this run. I appreaciate all the love and hopefully I am able to reciprocate!
