Onandon As normal I’m using my mini custom Ikea cabinet with a 150w Marshydro for a two plant grow.
I’m doing two favourites, StressKiller and watermelon as these have proven to be awesome in past grows, and easy to maintain.
Both seeds were germinated with a paper towel in 3 days and were added to the soil today Dec 4th.
Again, I’ll be sticking with the biobizz nutrient schedule and a PH of approximately 6.5 for the duration.

Onandon Update on Christmas Day.
The two little ones are coming along just fine. No issues, and they’ve had two feeds following the biobizz nutrient schedule.
The light is on 55% but each week this it progressively increased to be at 100% by week 4. ( this is the 3rd week in soil )
All good

Onandon 4th week in soil. Both plants are bushy boys so I’ll start LST to get the lower nodes some light.
No issues, so just following the usual biobizz plan and adding ph balanced water.
I gave each one around 750ml today and I’ll check again in 2/3 days to see how they feel.
I’ve grown these two strains a few times and they’re so easy and straightforward to look after. No special treatment, just do the usual checks for ph and that’s about all.

Onandon 5th week in soil for the two plants.
The StressKiller has started to flower and stretch. I’ve got two main stems and it’s looking really healthy. Good colour leaves and strong stems.
The watermelon had some discolouration to the bigger leaves due to me turning the light up for 12 hours, it didn’t like it so I adjusted it back down. However the damage was done. The light is now back to 100% and no further damage or issues.

Onandon Well week 6 in soil.
The stress killer is trooping along a per normal. No issues and it’s looking great.
The watermelon is a bit weird and not something I’ve seen before.
Last week I had the brown crispy spots appear on the larger leaves and immediately added some cal mag thinking it’s was a magnesium deficiency.
No change but it hasn’t got any worse so I added a bit more in yesterday’s feed.
The strange part is the plant hasn’t started to flower, it’s just pushing more leaves - see pics
Hopefully it will start flowering soon. Temps are good and I’m on a 20-4 light cycle so maybe the cause of the brown spots is also preventing the switch.
If anyone reading this cares to comment, I’m open to suggestions

Onandon Week 7 in soil.
It’s abbey strange week.
The stress killer is just trooping along and getting some nice colour on the leaves. Flowers are looking good and putting on weight.
The watermelon has been a pain. 7 days ago it still wasnt flowering with no signs of it getting close to shifting over from veg.
It was recommended that I should should move it into a dark area for 48 hours and then back in the cabinet on a regular 18-6 schedule.
I moved it back to the cabinet two days ago and it looks like it’s Noel flowering 🤗
It’s going a bushy boy when it starts putting on weight.
So, that’s cool, both plants flowering but now out of sync FML

The stress killer is just moving along with no issues. Its last feed was Sunday - 2 days ago.
I’m wondering is that should be the last feed ? Not sure it will be ready for harvest in 2 weeks, but it’s getting close.
I’ll monitor but I think I’ll probably feed one last time before a two week period of nothing but water.
The watermelon is coming along nicely now it started flowering.
Nothing to add other than it has tons of flower sites so it should hopefully produce well.

The stress killer has had its last feed so I estimate two weeks until I harvest.
I might do it a little sooner depending how it looks under the microscope. Either way the last feed was a tiny amount so it should clear its system pretty quickly.
The watermelon is still trucking along. No issues now it’s flowering, just trying to get some mass in the buds.
Can’t do much other than feed, water and wait.

Onandon So week 10 in soil for the plants.
The StressKiller has been on water for just over a week, and it’s ready to harvest at about any time this week.
It’s such a strong smell, like nothing I’ve grown before. I’ve grown SK a few times and it never stank like this 🤷🏼♂️
The watermelon is slow to put on weight, the buds are pretty small but getting bigger. I’m not expecting much from this plant due to the complications bug I’ll let it do its thing, and see what happens.
Even if I get 20-25g dry it’s better than nothing

Onandon Week 11 in soil for the Watermelon.
As predicted, the flowers are starting to put on some weight. Not a huge amount but enough to see this to the end.
The lower leaves are being used up so I’ve increased the nutrients in the hope it doesn’t use all the leaves before the maturity of the flowers.
🤷🏼♂️ I can only do so much.
Last Tuesday I chopped the StressKiller. It’s a small plant in size but the wet bud weight was pretty impressive.
Tomorrow will be the 7th day in the drying environment so I’ll check it and see if it needs any more time. I’d say the 10th day will be about right based on previous grows.

Onandon Nearing the end for the watermelon. I’d guess at two to three weeks left.
Disappointed with this grow, mainly stemming from the issue with not autoflowering so it’s not really recovered from that.
Ah well, it’s still going to produce something

Onandon So this is the final week for the watermelon.
I should have harvested it by now but I’ll do it in the next couple of days.
It’s a suuuuper smelly plant so I need to make sure I’m not expecting anyone
Flowers look ok, but more amber than I’d ideally like.
Ah well
Usually an easy grow, but this time it wouldn’t automatically flower so I needed to intervene.
Probably didn’t yield as much as I’d expect, but this could be due to many factors.

Good luck, my Stress Killer is ready in a few weeks and I am looking forward to tasting it! It had a Nutriburn at the beginning, but it catched up now.
