Dec 5 - Ex Cheese - exposed to 52 guass magnet south pole for 1 hour (Ken wheeler). Dropped into a 100ppm cup of mag sulfate with distilled water as the base. Prepped their solo cups with 50/50 gro4 worm castings and Terra Potting Soil with 3 teaspoons of 444 Gaia green dry amendment, using perlite, vermiculite and pumice (25% total volume) for aeration. Inoculated with 2 teaspoons of WOW MYCO. Placed into a heated humidity dome to protect from fungus gnats and to allow the soil mix to cook for a couple days while the seeds sprout in the water.
Please note I am aware the Exodus Cheese is a clone only strain, and these are seeds. They were purchased from Greenhouse Seeds which is as close to the original breed of Exodus Cheese I can get. I figured I'd have fun, get the seeds, and see out of the three which one is the cheesiest. This is a pheno hunt. General aim is to grow all to acquire 2 viable clones off each, then flower them out. Whichever one wins will keep a mother and the other clones will simply be flowered out and that genetic line will end.
This is an organic grow using soil, worm teas, top dressings, and foliar sprays as the main routine. My main nutes are Gaia Green 444 and 284 dry amendments with WOW Myco as the fungal innoculant. I'll be using Hyshield for Chitosan with foliar sprays (not sure if this is organic). I'll also be using Hygrozyme at regular intervals in the soil. Anything else and I'll be sure to keep a record.
Let's grow!
Update - After 48hrs in a cup of distilled water, with a tap root showing on the fastest growing seedling I put them into cups of soil to complete germination. The cup of soil is Terra potting mix, with perlite/pumice/vermiculite, inoculated with WOW Myco, and has a very small amount of Gaia 444. They'll be staying in the humidity dome for about a week while they grow their first couple of leaves. They sit under the 100w quantam board at 75% roughly 12 inches away.
