First question, will you be ready to harvest? Second question: Colored tricomas? Why is this phenomenon happening?

It's difficult to say when it will be ready since outdoors usually takes more time, but it looks like the buds have some more fattening to do yet, but I'll go on a limb here ans say 2 weeks maybe. I'm not so sure those colors are the thricomes as such, but the leaves having some senescence (end of plant life decoloration due to aging) or even a light trick.

I’m on my second grow ever, and I grow outdoor as well. Gonna be following this one. What type of yield you got off of those first two plants?
HurricaneTrees
HurricaneTreescommented6 years ago
@victor_lion, Tent and cob on the way

@HurricaneTrees, maybe you should consider putting artificial lighting to get more crops

Hey @victor_lion! I really envy you this beauty...I almost feel ashamed how badly I envy you 😀 Exotic colors of buds are often connected to low temperatures so my bet would be that the beautiful coloring is caused by the low night temperatures. The 6°C is definitely low but outdoor strain should still be able to handle it with relative ease. Of course the strain must have some sort of genetic predisposition for the colorful leaves/buds but temperature is one of the main factors which can trigger it, at least from what I read. As to how long will she yet take to finish...did you notice any new pistils during last week? If yes, I would keep it at least 1 week from last noticeable new pistils growth but of course you can harvest sooner. Good indication of time to harvest is also if like 20%+ trichomes go dark/amber under microscope, but that could be hard to identify in your case 😏 Happy growing man!

@victor_lion, definitely nice plants too but this one has by far the best contrast of colors. Real thing of beauty :) Cheers!

@@@Athos, it's just what I think, I think it can still take another 2 weeks, I also thought it was a light effect, but no, xD really the trichomes are colored, there's no trick friend

wait it out dude. I only got a few gram from mine, but the smoke is good. U prob need to flush out in about another week for a week then chop.

Hey Victor, so i went and looked at several other diaries of this lsd and most of their grows were harvested around weeks 8-10. I don't think I saw any going into week 14 like you and definitely not as much color as yours. If your trichromes are having the swollen tops i think your probably ready to flush(if you do that) and then chop.✌️
victor_lion
victor_lioncommented6 years ago
@Experimentgreen, Yes, I think that a week or two, you have noticed the trichomes that go from turquoise to red xD, in about 5 years cultivating I had never seen such a thing, I keep freaking
Experimentgreen
Experimentgreencommented6 years ago
@victor_lion, it worked! Ha! You rock thank you! You really can see some great clusters of trichromes and their colors once i was able to zoom. I think you might still have at least like 2 weeks to go...what do you think?

@victor_lion, shoot, i didn't know i could. Lol thank you. I'll try that and get a better look at it.
