I started my beans in root riot plugs (sprinkled some Azos in each plug) to give me some time to find some starter soil as I am sitting on old soil that I don't really trust to start these seeds. All the beans popped one of them is taking longer to pull themselves out of the plug so I covered them back up to give them 24-48 more hours to catch up. All in all I am excited to start growing again after a 4+ month hiatus due to being broke. Happy Growing! Environment: Temp: 77F RH%: 65% [1.8.24] - Germinated 2 out of 4 [1.9.24] - Eye check [1.10.24] - Transplanted in solo cups with Coco Coir, Perlite, Mykos and Azos [1.11.24] - Eye Check [1.12.24] - Regular watering [1.13.24] - Eye check [1.14.24] - Added kelp and fish emulsion (1 tsp /gal) [1.15.24] - True leaves are starting to stretch and form

The seedlings are starting to stretch out and are now growing its first set of true leaves. I added a light dosage of Fish Emulsion (5-1-1) and Kelp to start the nutrient process. I started the seedlings in Coco Coir so I needed to start adding inputs to feed the plant. I will be adding Recharge in the coming days to add microbial life. [1.15.24] - Eye Check [1.16.24] - Watered regular water [1.17.24] - Eye Check and Note: The GDP's are growing way slower than the GSS, could be due to more indica leaning or over watering my seedlings. [1.18.24] - No watering today. Letting the cups dry out a little more.

This week I focused on transplanting. The seedlings grew past the solo cup so I transplanted them in 5 - 1gal pots. I amended the soil with Bio-Live and Oyster Shell from Down To Earth to give the plants their first real doses of nutrients. I also moved them under the AC Infinity EVO4 light. Now it's time to see if these two are male or female in the coming weeks. 1.25.24 - Transplanted in 1gal pots amended with Bio Live and Oyster Shell | regular watering

The two GDPs are looking perfect. They are on their 5th node so I will be topping them soon. After topping I will start LST training until the sex shows in the plant. 1.30.24 - eye check 1.31.24 - regular watering 2.1.24 - topped with sterilized razor at 5-6th node 2.2.24 - watered fish emulsion 1/4 tsp in half gallon 2.3.24 - eye check 2.4.24 - watered with silica (1/2 tsp in half gal)

Week 4 looking good. The plants have recovered from the topping so now I will wait for the aux nodes to grow so I can start to train the plants horizontally. I will be adding Silica, Fish emulsion, and Recharge this week. 2.5.24 - eye check 2.6.24 - watered regular water

3 weeks later..so quick update to my garden. My GDPs were both female (the only females out of 5 plants). I noticed the shorter one showing deficiencies but that was due to it being rootbound. Once I cut some roots and transplanted them she turned back to her normal green color. They were both transplanted in a 50 gal pot. I LST/HST to get some new growth some love. Once I have enough nodes I will clone out my next run and prepare these plants for flower. 2/25/24 - Top dressed 6 cups Bio- Live and 3 cups Oyster Shell + regular water (2 gals) 2/26/24 - LST the two plants and sprinkled in some cover crop seeds 2/27/24 - watered with 1 tsp of Recharge in 2 gals 2/28/24 - eye check 2/29/24 - watered with 1 tsp of silica and natural aloe and coconut water 3/1/24 - eye check 3/2/24 - watered regular water

Getting ready to flower I brought out my bamboo trellis for the final training of the plant. I also stripped the bottom of any foliage that wont turn into anything useful to give the top of the plant more energy. I have been feeding the plant 2 gals every other day just to get a few hours of drying out for the plant, soil and worms. Gonna be buying some Seabird Guano for the flower stage and maybe a fungal dom compost tea. I want to wait for the shorter GDP to stretch out a little more but I might just put them into flower. I also cut some clones to keep this strain going in case it's a winner. 3/4/24 - added trellis watered with fish emulsion 3/5/24 - eye check/ training plants 3/6/24 - watered with regular water 3/9/24 - Flipped to 12/12

We are 6 days in flower today. The second GDP has finally caught up with the taller pheno so now I'm waiting to see where the stretch ends to see if I'm going to need another trellis to make sure no nodes end up falling over too much. I really don't like using string trellises but I will to avoid having to string nodes individually. Either way we are in FLOWER! time to figure out what top dress I will use this time and if I will be making a fungal tea to ensure that the population is strong for the next two months. I might add another dose of silica just to make sure that we have optimal nutrient uptake. Thinking about defoliation jail in 2 weeks smh. 3/14/24 - Watered with Fish emulsion (2 tsp in 2 gal)

We are 3 days away from week 3 and the plants exploded on me once again. Next run I'm going to flower earlier because I always do this to myself. the highest node is about 4 inches away from the light. Can't do much about it now gonna have to ride it out. I'm going to be topdressing langbeinite and seabird guano and applying water soluble kelp to start the flowering process the right way. Still debating if I will make a fungal dom tea this run. Also going to be stripping the leaves from underneath the trellis and removing leaves from the top to give the maximum light coverage to all bud sites. 3/20/24 - Watered

Is week 3 day 3 today and the babies are thriving!. The 3 nodes that I supercropped are starting to build a knuckle at the bend point and are starting to join the rest of the nodes. Got some advice from some growers and they convinced me to do minimal defoliation on the top of the plant. Lets see how no defoliation differs from stripping at week 3. I also top dressed fish bone meal, langbeinite and oyster shell at less than a cup for each (1 tsp per gal). I don't have kelp meal so I will water in some water soluble kelp at some point. Still debating a compost tea. Also cut out some clones to try to save the strain since my last 2 attempts failed in veg. 3/26/24 - Top dressed and watered

Buds are gaining a bit of weight now. The super cropped stems have stretched back to their positions with a inch difference in height. The smell of the leaves are amazing! haven't smelled this mixture of terpenes before. Gonna be doing regular watering and watering with kelp and molasses and maybe some powdered banana peels.

We are in Week 7 Day 2 of this grow.Buds have been swelling up for the last three weeks. They are finally starting to show signs of purpling but I may have to run these for another week to make sure they purple out. Never grown GDP so I don't know if cold manipulation is needed for a strain that is supposed to be a purple strain. I have the temp dropping down more than 10 degrees (64F) at night so that should encourage the plant to start using up the energy stored in the leaves.

Sorry for the pictures but my bamboo trellis fell apart during the swelling period and now all the nodes are falling all over the place. Day 59 im going to push them to 65 and then start the process of drying. Just checked the trichomes and im happy to find more cloudy bulbs then clear which never happens this fast for me. Usually I'm struggling to figure out when to chop. The second GDP plant in the back doesn't seem to be doing as well as the taller pheno. It hasn't purpled at all and the nugs are ok other than the one node that grew past the others during flower.

Its day three of drying!!! I set up the tent with my window AC and an inkbird to keep the temps down to low 60s to preserve the terps and humidity high 60s to ensure I can dry for at least 10 days. I want to get as close to 14 day dry as I can. The first plant is looking good but the other might only be used for edibles unfortunately it didn't produce any GDP traits and didnt produce frosty nugs.
