Lights: P2000 @ 50% (550ish PPFD)
Distance : 12" (30 cm)
Day 0 put in paper towel - Started germination by putting seed in paper towel and keeping on warming pad
Day 1 - It had roots on the 2nd day and will plant tomorrow in FoxFarm Soil 3 gal ( should have done solo cup to then 3 gal)
Day 2 - Seed poked through soil
Day 3 - Its slowly raising up to open first shoot
Day 4 - 1st photo shows 1 hr after lights were turned on. It looks like it might start opening, Will take follow up photo at end of the day
Day 5 - we are seeing change from not showing leaves to they are popping up and looking nice and green. We are starting veg state tomorrow
Day 6- It's more open, but still first leaf is about to show. Still in germination stage till first true leaves show and they are almost both showing.
Day 7 - It's opened for sure and 1st leaf is out and marks end of germination. I have notice curling is still occurring and i believe this is due to 2 factors ; overwatering and to much light
- raised from 14" to 16" and keeping light 50% and thats about 380-400 PPFD from the 600ish it was before.
-- I already watered after thinking about that and added 1ml to my .75gal water, thinking this will help and to start the calmag schedule
Last watering was on Day 7 and will hold out for day 9 for watering and see if it starts straightening out :(
Day 8 veg - Still got the twist going on but looking green, but will see as it comes along and new leafs come out
- maybe it was due to me sprying it with diluted nut and it was to much for baby leaf and made it twist some
- next feeding/watering is tomorrow will add more cal mag to bring it to a total of 2-3ml per gallon (per site its 2ml per L and ther is 3.8l in a gal)
Day 9 veg - No watering on this day as it will still moist 2 inches under. but we still see the curl by end of day.
- Will water Day 10 as that will make it 3 days from previous watering
- We see the new growth in the center coming up. Cant tell if its coming in twisted.
- low humidity.. found my machine had issues..... its working now and brought it up 40% in photo and later in day back to 60%
Day 10 - gave it a watering but half the nut's and raised the light 3 inches
- the first temps were 60% humidty but when opening and taking pics it dropped to 55 and temp dropped 2 degrees.
Day 14 it has grown up more but still a little curl and rtight packing but more rain water to keep flushing and maybe in 2-3 days we will back back in action
Day 15 - Gave just rain water and early in the day removed the curled and dried up leafs seems to be recovering well. Will monitor and see how it looks tomorrow and no water probably till the day 17
Day 16 - Its looking really good and no water needed as suspected. Plant is looking nice and green and new leafs are looking straight and getting off shoots on the sides nicely. Little shock from early nutrients but just doing rain water seems to be doing the trick and once fully recovered will start feeding again.
Day 17 - No water still and its still looking good and recovering nicely maybe tomorrow some water again and then next feeding will be some nutrients.
Day 18 - No water still moist
- looking alot happier today and growing nicely now and all skewing is GONE!!!
- next feeding will be half of what it was before so form 4 to 2.5 ml for each and voodoo from 8ml to 6 and cal-mag from 1ml to .5
