MalumProhibitum I originally didn't intend to document this diary, let alone publish it as the photo aspect stresses me out and I never get 100% happy with the photos; as they never make the plant justice.. but.. As the jars have just reached 1 month curing @62RH (no burping) I deemed it worthy of recording with the limited information I have, in order to preserve it as a cherished memory. Even if the Mimosa EVO has a better score, and was a good grow; this one is my all time favourite hybrid -- It's smell is a unique "smurfy" stealth smell during the flowering, the taste is just surpassed when combined with just a little sprinkle of lachryma papaveris. The effects are a bit too strong for me when smoking it undiluted, but it gives me the opportunity to use this one as a good BASE; then add some Blue Shark CBD to balance it up & some occasional poppy sprinkles on top to bring out it's indica traits². It has been a low effort project, yet the end result surpassed my expectations; delivering a decently sized harvest & an excellent smoke that turned out to be a new favourite (extremely strong though! be careful;modesty and all that.. 😜). I am optimistic that someone will enjoy the photos and maybe see the benefits of giving their plants time to develop and not harvesting too early; especially when dealing with hybrid genetics.

MalumProhibitum Didn't have the lights ready, so cultivated her under the kitchen fan. The 6,5W LED, and as much sun as possible was ok for her to develop at a decent pace; lagging behind just slightly, performing at 75-80% of her true potential, compared to what i'd expect from a perfect week.

MalumProhibitum I moved her to the flower room this week and used one COB underrun @20W to keep her happy. Lights still not assembled and I see no need in blasting her, as the kitchen-LED turned out to be more life-giving than I had anticipated.

MalumProhibitum I'm always a bit unconfortable at this stage of the grow, no matter if its fem or regular seeds. I know it's a feminized seed from a reputable breeder, but so much time was invested in this one plant w/o any backup. The relief of seeing FEMALE-pre-flowers, not a fat dick & ballz after months of VEG was immense.

MalumProhibitum And another week -- pretty slow overall development, most likely due to the enormous amount of bud-sites (I havn't done any defoliation or snipped off any suckers/side-branches). I'm letting her grow 100% free of mutilation, only using ropes if she gets out of controll😝

MalumProhibitum The lower buds have packed on some mass that resembles red golf balls. She is fading nicely, red hues on the bottom half and a more subtle light green yellowish-purple on the upper. As it takes her container roughly 1 day to stop dripping after feeding her, and another 2 days until the soil isn't soaking wet I let her dry up in-between waterings to make sure her roots have plenty of oxygen. 18weeks, she is finally grown up and old enough for some sexy photos! RAW processing; backlit, Low ISO, high shutter speed & high aperture; BEGIN!

MalumProhibitum Uneventful week! I just misted the top soil with some tap-water to give the soil a cleaner appearance.

MalumProhibitum At the end of the week I removed most of the fan-leaves, obscuring the light from the lower portion of the plant. Many of the leaves were already dead, dried out, and were crisp to the touch. Upon completion, I continued to remove any excess sugar-leaves to give her a cleaner appearance.

MalumProhibitum 160W for this grow was a bit on the lower end, but the sativa hybrid traits of this strain, allowed me to extend the weeks to let every bud-site ripen w/o the more developed top colas turning too amber. Even the lower buds have gained some nice colors by now. She was finally ready for harvesting! (still not 50% amber, and the lower bud-sites needed even more time to catch up with the top, but I had project poppy expanding and needed the extra space). Been starving her for 2 months now, but the massive pot still allowed her to keep developing; forming super dense buds! Before harvest, I gave her a final watering, just tap water and kept her in the dark for 2 days. Even though the buds were very isolated from the leaves I still had to break up the harvest into a weekend, as I got too stressed out and impatient/sloppy when trimming the buds if I kept on for too long. I just couldn't do it in one or 2 focused sessions. I loved this one, but the harvest was a bit of a pain in the ass; too much for my patience. (wet-trim to the point where there were just bud and stem left before drying). The humidity of the dry room fluctuated +-3 @64%RH and was kept in check by limiting or increasing the ventilation and a fan was on at all times to prevent any hot spots of moisture biulding up anywhere from stale air. The water content in the bud remained stable just shy of 63% RH after drying for 2 weeks. The bud was then placed in jars and sealed off for a month before most of it was vendored. Kept one jar for collection purpose; but this strain is too strong for me!

Excellent strain, borderline perfect plant in all aspects! +Good VEG development! +Nice flower formation +Stealthy sweet-lime smell during flower +Vibrant colors in late flower, justgive the buds time to mature. **The best looking strain I've ever grown. The buds looking unique, and exotic in the jars; and the taste and effect is spot on!
