Growing well. It didn’t stretch as much as I thought it would, and I’m happy about that. Bud sites are forming nice. Not clipping off too many fans just Incase of any issues down the road.
Another great week! Buds are forming nicely. Crystals are coming in with lots of white hairs. Barely stretched so I expect it to stay at 25 inches. Have at least 6 colas that are about 8 inches long. I have removed the odd fan leaf but like to keep lots incase of any issues down the road. Upped the nutes and hope she likes it. CHEERS.
Buds are starting to fill in a bit. Nice crystals developing with 8 solid buds at least. Changed the lighting this week to a 1200W (300w actual draw) Cob LED which has bleached some of the leaves but I’m hoping she will will adapt and use the extra power to fatten up. CHEERS.
I am very impressed with this plant. She’s grown very fast and the buds are super frosty. The yellowing leaves are pretty bad. I Thought it was from the new lights but after checking the ph, it’s on the high side at 7.14. Hope shes got enough to fatten up for at least two more solid weeks. Cheers.
Flushed with fresh water this week, Definitely have a pH issue that is too far gone. Lost a lot of big fan leaves. Tricomes are starting to cloud up. Buds are also getting a bit of good colour to them, with some purple coming in. Plan is to try keep her going for another week if she’ll keep some green leaves. Cheers!
Chopped her at 45 days into flower. As there was no diary for the vegging portion, she was vegged for 49 days and was about 24 inches tall with a canopy 20 x 20 inch. Harvested on the early side because plant was losing lots of leaves due to some pH issues I caused. Would have liked to go an extra week or two but had to work with what I had. This being said I’m very pleased with how the grow turned out. I topped a few times and there was minimal stretch after the flip. Power Kush flowers aggressively! Buds formed immediately and she just kept packing on the size. Towards the end some nice colours developed with some purple sugar leaves coming through. Lots of sticky crystals and covered in red hairs. Very nice looking buds overall. Beware of the smell! I’ve had to make up stories about a skunk that’s been spotted lurking at my front door because of the smell. I was running a 6 inch carbon filter with 460cfm fan and the smell still poked through. I love it but it could be an issue for some. After hanging to dry for 3 days, I sampled the product and Im excited to have this in my mix. After a small bowl in the vape I was in a great place. Nice and mellow. Good mix of body buzz and clear headed happiness. Good for a chill social smoke. Very happy with yield of 4 oz. Cheers!
Don’t know how’s to add weights to harvest report. Dry weight going into a tub, 114g or just over 4 oz. very happy with this, although William dry down more before going into jars. Smells fantastic too! Cheers.

For just 3-4 week's into bloom the buds are exploding with goodness and look really nice mate 👍
Let's see what you can do as the stretch phase is clearly over and all focus will be on big fat bud production and trichome development 👊

Great grow! I see you use a tote during dry time. I have considered this after several days of hanging to extend the dry time. Do you go lid on lid off like curing in a jar or an you suggest a method using a tote. I can get 14-20 days dry in summer but in winter i swear regardless of dry room conditions, if it's dry as heck outside during winter, it dries days faster for me. Cant explain it when my conditions are absolutely dead on and barely fluctuate. same dry room/method used all year round. Conditions identical all year round. Ps I can't pass on some super skunky! Glad the finished product was great 👍 I may have to add this to my future line up!
@exclusiveX420, hey man, yeah I have tried a few drying methods, and honestly drying is just as challenging as growing! I did use that small tote for the power Kush but it was a bit small. I used a tote bigger one with an extractor vent hooked up in the lid and holes drilled into the side and bottom with buds on racks inside. this worked well but they dried a bit too quickly and it only held 4 - 6 oz. Now what I have is a 2x2x4 foot box, where I hang the buds with as much main stem as possible. I have an extractor vent pulling air out but the airflow is quite gentle so its a slow dry. I hang for 4 - 7 days, then I trim them down a bit and put them in a paper bag and let them sit in that for a week. I shake the bags 2x daily and fluff the buds around. Its a good in-between step for the buds from being exposed to the air and being completely air tight in jars. That way they don't dry too quick but the paper does still wicks some moisture away. From there they go into jars. Ive lost a lot of bud to mold in jars, when I though it was perfectly dried, only to find mould after 1 month of curing. In winter it's the same story for me, the air is so dry its insane, the buds just dry way too quickly on the outside but there is still moisture inside that comes out and fucks up the process, but the paper bag helps a lot.
The power kush is a good plant for yield, and the name does it justice, it gives you energy. Finding dinafem strains is getting harder and harder now which really sucks, hopefully they can sort out their legal issues but it doesn't look promising.

@DinafemSeeds, I cut her down on the weekend, day 45 of flower,would have liked to let it go for another week but couldn’t make it happen. I’ll post the harvest report with final yields in the week once’s it’s dried out and ready for jars. Very impressed with the genetics, can’t wait to roll a joint for the smoke report!
