Skunk #1 & Tangerine Sugar by Sensi Seeds

Skunk #1: Type: Feminized strain Cannabis Cup Winner: Cannabis Cup Winner Sativa / indica Sativa- / Indica-hybrid Flowering time: Short flowering time Plant size: Average height growth Yield: High yield Climate zones: Temperate / Continental climate Tangerine Sugar Type: Feminized strain Sativa / indica: Sativa Flowering time: Extra-long flowering time Plant size: Average height growth Yield: Bountiful yield Climate zones: Sunny / Mediterranean climate The ladies are doing wonderfully, they’re starting to form more and more new leaves, and the little PC fan provides a light breeze. I water based on weight and always start from the outside so the roots search for water and expand. Of course, always with pH-neutral water. AcidBurn_41 10.02.24 BT 20 Hey there, I just had to realize that my entire report is gone 😡. The girls are doing well 👍🏻 They are stretching and more and more is coming to light 🙂 Today they got some tasty nutrients, Hesi Bloom Complex 5ml per 1L of water. Watering is super easy for me: 1 day of pH neutral water, then nothing for a day, and then back to nutrients. I start adding phosphorus from day 40 with initially 0.2ml per 1L, up to a maximum of 1ml per 1L by the time I flush. I've learned over the years to handle this carefully and to flush well 😉 They thrive on Hesi Bloom Complex. Now I’ll first try to rewrite my reports since unfortunately, everything is gone. AcidBurn_41 16.02.24 BT 26 Hey there 😉 The girls are feeling great and are getting thirstier 😄 Today they got some tasty food, Hesi Bloom Complex 5ml per 1L of water, and for the first time 0.2ml per 1L of Hesi Phosphorus + 😋 two days ago they had neutral water. Every 2 days, both get 3L of water or nutrients, always alternating. Skunk #1 is showing more and more pistils; she’s stretching more slowly, which indicates that she’s starting to swell the stigmas and will hopefully stack up nicely into beautiful buds. At first, she exhibited typical Indica behavior, but quickly turned Sativa during flowering. In BT week 6, I’ll do a little defoliation again 😊 Tangerine Sugar is also doing very well; her pistils are increasing, and she’s still pushing out new branches. She has one more week, and then I think she’ll reach the status that her sister has now. See you in 10 days for another update. AcidBurn_41 21.02.24 BT 32 Meal time, buddies! 🙂 The ladies are doing wonderfully; they have both stopped stretching. Now it's slowly starting, and the buds are swelling up. Every day until Tuesday, I'll be removing a few leaves here and there, but without stressing them, max 2 per plant per day. It's only the leaves that cover the buds. Today they got some delicious food again 😋 Hesi Bloom Complex 5ml per 1L of water, Hesi Booster 2ml per 1L of water, Hesi Phosphor + 0.4ml per 1L of water, and Hesi SuperVit. All together, it made a super nutrient drink that will supply them for the next 4 days. Skunk #1 smells very strong, but that was clear and always very, very nice. The typical skunk smell is rounded off by a nice lemon 🍋 note. Tangerine Sugar smells very sweet and fruity. Both are forming trichomes very well; the node spacing of the Skunk #1 is definitely smaller, so I strongly assume that a thick bud will show up on all main and side branches. Tangerine Sugar will also bring out nice buds, but not solid colas 🙂 Her branches have definitely not grown as robustly as those of her big sister, but she doesn’t need to hide either. Now it's the final stretch for the Skunk#1; her need for phosphorus is increasing more and more, and her buds are getting thicker, trichomes are everywhere down to the bottom. The side branches are already very heavy; hopefully, they can hold it all 😮 She will get fed two more times, then only pH-neutral water will be used to flush out all residues. Tangerine still has a bit of time but is also developing very nicely. Her smell is simply wonderful; I can't wait to try her 😋 I think she will be ready about 2 weeks after the Skunk#1, but the trichomes will tell us. Skunk #1 is getting frostier and the buds are still swelling; she hasn't reached my desired ripeness yet, not even 5% amber. Tangerine is really plumping up her buds now, and her trichomes go all the way to the stems. Together, they create a scent that's out of this world, simply delightful. Skunk #1 is only getting pure pH-neutral water from now on, so I’m flushing everything out until she’s done. The nutrients that are still stored are now being completely sucked out of the plant. Tangerine is still getting her feed: Hesi Bloom Complex 5ml/L, Hesi Phosphor + 0.5ml/L, Hesi Boost 2ml/L, Hesi SuperVit. AcidBurn_41 18.03.24 BT#58 Hey ✌️, sorry for the late update, the Skunk#1 fem from Sensi Seeds was harvested today. Her trichomes reached the Amber+Milky% that have become the best choice for me over the years. A very smooth smoke with a direct Skunk note, slightly earthy with a hint of fruitiness on the exhale. A wake-up call in the morning 🙂, but also a "I’ll just stay here" vibe in the late evening 😂😋 where I’m not doing anything for now. The high comes on slowly but steadily increases, starting in the head and then slowly spreading to the body, leading to full brain activity but with a very narcotic effect. There were about 123g wet, which then hung for about 10 days at around 56-65% RH at 14-max 20° in the drying cabinet 😜. After that, it went into the jar to gently remove the last 15% still trapped inside and let the terpenes fully develop their intense aroma, while the remaining chlorophyll and bitter compounds are converted into sugars, giving it the typical scent of the strain.
