Pictures from Jan 21. Flowering (slooooooooooowly) continues. At this rate, our forecast is harvest in first half of March, trim/dry/cure, and product is read in April. <sigh> Need a better winter grow solution as the electricity bills are punishing.
Your temperatures are so low! Is your tent in a garage or detached building structure? If its normally that low I suggest an increase in light wattage if your plants can handle it 😎
@Dodger, Your biggest threat is going to be mold in flowering because a high Relative Humidity level mixed with low temperatures is a problem wanting to happen. To compensate spread the plant out once the buds start to farm and be careful of any excess water in the environment. You are in Cali like me so outdoors humidity is already high currently depending on what area your at. I suggest just keeping a close eye on it and have a backup plan to reduce humidity. Another problem with lower temperatures is simply slow growth. You could always try to add more lights or make your "lights on" cycle to be during the night to keep the temps from dipping to low.
@HighTV, I agree. However, the grow is in a tent in a shed outside and we're doing it as much as an experiment as anything else - that is, can we do a "standard" grow in the winter months? (I live in California where freezing isn't really a worry, but it's a lot colder than our previous grow). How serious of an issue do you think this is going to be?
Have you had any issues with the D.H.N strains? I just picked up a few clones, they seem healthy its only been 2 days. Yours responded well to the training and look great! Any advice?
@Dodger,
I appreciate the information. I almost grabbed their sour D x lemon Kush..but the roots were rockin on the Mirage so I opted for something new.
@UpnUp, no problems at all. They've grown like, well, weeds. Resilient to cold and heat. No bugs that I found and good yields. Their Sour Diesel was our strongest crop but Blackjack yielded the most.
