Germinated in water back on 2/16. Planted into Solo Cups on 2/18 - 2/19. First day I would say is 2/22 where all three have sprouted which is the tail end picture for this week.
Only one shot from the first true week. 2/22 was Day 1 so today marks the end of that week. All 3 seem to be healthy and coming along. Currently under a brand new light so we will see how things progress (~300PPFD).
3/9 - Catching up on this diary. Added some pictures from week 2 veg in their solo cups. Started to see the leaves droop this week and I noticed the roots were coming out the bottom of the slits in the solo cups. I think next time I will open up holes in the bottom of the cup, compared to making slits with scissors. I have never used solo cups before so not sure how the roots react, coming out the bottom of the solo cups and dying? Do they shrivel up like nuts like in cold water? : P
At their current distance, they are receiving ~400ppfd. Watering once every 4 days or so and takes little water to get run off with solo cups, nice!
Well, sometime after 3/9 the girls really took a shit. IIRC, I watered each solo cups until a little runoff came through. Maybe 4-6oz per cup thinking they would dry out sort of quickly. Think I overestimated.
As far as the light, it is under a 720w 8 bar but the light is only at 50% and Photone is showing 400-500 PPFD. Light was maybe incrementally increased during that time to up the DLI by 1-3 points on the top colas of the flowering plants in the same tent.
The plants have been under the same light the entire time. It was suggested that this may be a light intensity issue for them. I had been thinking maybe root bound issue or pH/watering problem but I have only watered them twice, maybe thrice.. during their lives. I am use to providing water sparingly in big pots.
All 3 showing the same signs. Planning to move them to 3x3 under the MIGRO 3 light once the Lemon is done drying and can be taken out.
Becomes apparent in these situations that I should have documented each watering.
*Edit*
Recalibrated my Apera PH pen. Feeding water is still within the correct pH range (5.8). Will have to double check it against the dropper test.
Moved all the seedlings to the 3x3 under the MIGRO 3 light this past week. Light is set to 60% which I am reading at ~40 DLI/500-600 PPFD. Will see how the girls respond in the next few days to the more intense lighting.
The last to be transplanted is still looking a bit sickly but she's a big strong girl and will overcome her hardships! :)
Avg Last 24H: 70F 57% 1.05kPa
Avg Last 7D: 68F 53% 1.08kPa
Not sure which day specifically I moved them out of the 4x4 but based on the pictures above, must have been 3/19 or 3/20. I am SO good at documentation!
The pictures should be in chronological order.

3/29 - Watered one plant to run-off for the very first time. The coco is prebuffered (mother earth) and i did not flush it out of the bag so the inherent EC without watering is probably pretty high. Considering this, I think the ladies are growing up decently. Would have done at least another plant but it's so much water to get the runoff EC down. With future waterings, based on how quickly the pots are becoming light, I will aim for run-off.
Pictures should be in chronological order.

Topped the girls this past week. All seem to be growing new tops nicely. One of them is clearly the frontrunner, my goodness. Keep on truckin' girl!
A little too late to LST the main stem, it's a little too firm to bend. Going to use some clips I bought a while ago to bend some of the chutes down. Won't do to all 3 at once, see how the first one or two go for a couple of days.
Maintaining about 65F/60-65% with lights off. Lettin' it ride on the slightly higher side. Lights on, 72-74F 55%-ish.
Think we are doing good at this time.
Cheers!
My 8 year old dog became sick within the last couple of weeks and he went to the Rainbow Bridge. Missed some time but back at it. Hug your pet, take them on a walk or a car ride, life can change so fast.
