Day 1 -
6 of 6 popped in a damp paper towel, water only, in a partially open baggy left for 24 hrs.
Planted into fresh BuildaSoil seedling soil. Watered with BuildaSoil Big 6 and q saponin. Placed under light set to ~200 ppfd (measured under dome).
That's the 4x4 soil bed filled with over 100 gallons of living soil you see underneath those planter cubes. I am excited for this run. I have a double layer scrog net prepared for these notorious stretchers. I may purchase brackets for the lights to gain 6 inches of head room. As of now they would have about 62" to stretch before I would get worried about distance to the light in it's highest position. 68" sounds nicer.
I see one poking out a day later already. See you in a week at end of week 1 veg.

Week 1: Okay
All standing up tall, and only a few are wobbly. Humidity dome removed and a light breeze added to strengthen them.
Watered daily with BoS Big 6 and the Q20.
I typically am unlucky or suck during this first week so I am stoked. I feel like this could be a great run. I hope it's fun, enjoyable, and the harvest is plentiful.
Thanks for checking in this week, see you next week!

Week 2:
4x4 Tent:
Well could have gone better, Under-watered them and when I went to transplant they barely held together. As of writing this these 4 have recovered well enough.
Mulch will be here soon, they need to get a little taller before that anyways. Should hopefully be easier sailing from here on our.
•
2x2 Tent:
I popped 6, 6 rose up, I plan to run all 6. The other 2 have been transplanted into a single earthbox they now share, a couple days later than the first 4. This earthbox is the same earthbox that the Wedding Cake #3 was run in last round. The soil in the earth box is on round 3, base 3.0 with heavy amendments last round.
I amended once more between rounds with Kashi blend, Comfrey FPE, and some 12-seed cover crop. After transplanting, I put a layer of Malibu compost on top & wetted it with saponin & big 6 micros, and covered with the plastic EB cover.
My plan with these is to try a different training method since these are notorious stretchers. And hopefully out of 6, I will have a standout keeper & be able to add a new mother to my collection.

Week 3:
Over watering, I think. I know the issue. The fix is here, the execution will be difficult though.
Anyways, this week was basically just dialing in the VPD and environment. As everything settled, the temp sat at 81°F, with humidity easily controlled to set VPD at 1.00.
I set the exhaust to run at 80°F so I am cycling new air in periodically throughout the day.
Don't put a 4x4 soil bed In a 4x4 drip tray in a 4x4 tent. Change that to a 3x3 soil bed and you'll be golden. I guess come back next week to see if this soil bed magically appears in a new tent.
2x2 Tent:
Almost forgot about #5 & #6. Watered in a heavy amendments load and checked them to days later. I love earthboxes. Going to not top these two and see how they grow naturally, tight space in the 2x2 anyways.

Week 4: My back hurts
Well Ta-Da, the bed is now magically inside of a 5x5 tent, with plenty of room to breathe. The tray the bed was in was also an issue. That was cut down and fixed as well. Bed can breathe and dry down normally.
Suffocation/over watering issues averted.
Some initial shock from the bed getting manhandled. Had to add another bag and a half of 3.0 soil to fill in the extra room made from break down the drain tray.
Hopefully we get back on track quick. I need to build the double layer scrog net for these notorious stretchers still. If all goes well, I'm hoping to flip to flower in two within two weeks, if I can get that canopy flattened and spread out.
Amendments have been added since this post. I'm a about half week behind updating this diary, and they look a lot better already. Still need the mulch layer, wanted to shred the stalks from my previous grows but never got around to it.
2x2 Tent:
Not much to update, top watered. Then let it sit for a few days to dry down in preparation for me filling the bottom resevoir for the first time.
Thanks for checking out the grow if you made it this far.

Week 5 - Nice
Cool, so it looks to be going well. Still have to put the trellis net up. #2 is finicky. I'm topping as I see fit, not much defoliation yet.
Added a good layer of top dressing, before pouring directly from the bag becomes impossible. This was a good week.
Take care growmies.

Week 6 - Yup
PPFD: 500 @ canopy
Finally got the scrog on. Tucking and bending is less chaotic now, and I started to remove some lower fan leaves that were getting shaded out.
Thinking another week before flip. I ran a long veg to get more tops last run, but couldn't keep up with food in such a small container (earthbox). I'm not worried about over vegging these.
Thanks for stopping by, later days buds!

Week 7: Final Veg Week
Well we made it. #4 finally started to jump up and reach past the trellis. As of writing they have been flipped so it's officially the last week of veg.
Did a large defoliation and clone gathering. They looked sad for a day, then bounced back. And now I wish I had taken more.
I'm still getting used to watering this bed. I feel like I'm not watering enough still. Need to get an auto watering system setup to remove the guesswork. Plus it's a pain to water this bed with no garden hose or sprayer (mine broke).
Thanks for stopping by, next week should be interesting since these are stretchers and I swear they jumped over an inch overnight after I flipped.

Week 1 Flower
It's a jungle, I am fighting humidity.
There, cons aside everything is going great. I have to admit that I haven't watered very hard. I'd call these drought resistant if I am supposed to be watering 5% of soil volume every couple days. And these are not small, the 5x5 is filled corner to corner.
The smell of cannabis is thick in the house, nothing specific, just "dank." A stem rub will net you a sweet hint of what's to come. There's differences between the 6 in terms of stem rubs, but I will wait for flower ripening before giving any super detailed Aromas per plant.
No dry amendments this time. It's mostly fresh soil in a huge bed. I think a week off won't hurt much.
I am trying this whole "tough love" during stretch to see if that helps at all. Heard it's a crop-steering technique, dry-backs and non-perfect situations during stretch, and then baby them the rest of their lives.
Stretch has started to pick up. Will need to heavily defoliate at end of stretch, nervous about them herming though.
Later days, growmies

Going well, can't complain. Still fighting humidity but it's obvious why. These are some vigorous plants.
Watering 6-8 gallons every 2-3 days.
A little worried about the density in here, but oh well.

Week 3 Flower - Procrastinating
Still need to put the second trellis on, still need to defoliate.
But all is going well. I will have more time now to attend to these in the evenings and weekends but once I get the defol done and trellis up all I need to do is water the rest of the way.
Topdressed with a good amount of KashiBloom and buildaflower. Watered in with coconut powder, q sap, buidlabloom, and some watermelon FPE.
Watering 6-8 gallons every 2-3 days, manually.
It's getting to the fun part. Many more pictures incoming once they start filling out.
Thanks for checking out the grow, later days bud!

So this should be week 4, but I think they are a week behind because I slowly reduced the daylight hours from 18/6 to 12/12 over almost 3 weeks.
So week 3-4 flower.
I put that second trellis on, it was a pain to do. Had to slowly inch each corner down while careful helping the stems through to their final standing position without getting pushed down. It took some time. It was worth it though.

Idk what day or week this is. I'm posting to catch up.
Not sure which week it happened in, but I opened the tent to find the plants stretched to the lights, 1800 PPFD. #1 and #3 hermed. I picked what I could.
There will be seeds.
It's for my own personal stash, but this is the first time this has happened to me and I'm fucking bummed out.
The little tent doesn't look like it's been pollinated, so there's that.
#1 is a gorgeous massive beauty, but I culled the clones since it Hermed, while #2 & #4 didn't in the same conditions.
Later days.

Still going.
Smells like pure sweet fruit, maybe some funk in there. Swaying more now, they have put on some weight. I think they will go longer but we'll see, I was hoping for a real ripening stage where they really fatten up.

Blueberry Cupcakes - Week 7F-ish, somewhere around day 48F
1100 PPFD on center.
The usual waterings.
No top dressings.
I think I'm gonna try to slide the top trellis up and off, and cut/separate the lower trellis so I can still grab and hang the entire plant for all 4. They'll be going into a 4'x4' tent meant for drying.
Later days, buds.
Extra ramblings:
The 5'x5' will be open and ready to top off the soil, clean, and to transplant some clones into to get rolling for the next round. I think I'm just gonna plant the keeper nutter butter x pistachio from last round, it was highly requested from some friends that tried it and I want to see how she runs in 120 gallons of soil vs the 10 gallons she was overvegged in.
For these Blueberry Cupcakes, I have clones of Pheno's 2, 4, 5, & 6. Pheno's 1 & 3 were culled due to the herming from heat/light stress on the donor plants. They stretch, but we'll see how the smoke report goes before deciding on culling anymore. 2 & 4 were slower to grow. 2 was weird in veg compared to the others, yellow leaf edges. 1 is the biggest, the most colorful, great structure, but doesn't smell the fruitiest. 2 is Similar, and so I think they are the same/similar Pheno's.
