Strawberry cookies

Hi again! (pun intented)! Decided to start a new diary although the grow is in its final steps. Only about 3 weeks to harvest. Haven't done a diary for a long time so thought it was about time for one. In this grow I have 3 beautiful strawberry cookies plants +1 blackberry cake plant that I salvaged from a friend. Ofcourse with this blackberry cake plant I also got bugs with it! Never, and I mean NEVER take any plants outside your own growroom. I have learnt this lesson once moore...😄 I have been very lazy with the grow and haven't used any special grow methods. I actually missed topping and even missed the FIM topping just being so fucking lazy, but hey... ladies are doing great! I don't grow for yield, only for quality! I actually started out with 4 plants of the same strain, but somehow managed to kill one, hence the one blackberry cake. After germination I planted the seedlings in a small pot for the roots to develope. I wanted to make sure the plants had strong roots when re- planting them to bigger pots so I let them stay in the small pots for around 3-4 weeks! They did develope really nice roots and I was really excited when moving them to bigger pots... took me another, maybe 5 weeks for the plants to really adjust and root into the bigger pots. Since I have 30 l pots it would not make sense to not use the whole 30 l volume, but it took a loooooong time for the ladies to really settle in. Today I am really glad I had the patience to wait for the plants properly settle into the big pots... I also had problems with humidity control which in return contributed to the slow veg period. After the ladies had settled in to the big nutrient filled pots they exploded in growth! I have never had so tall ladies in my tent ever! Although I had some problems starting out this grow I think I got lucky as well. I got the bugs after the 3 plants were big enough for flowering. If I had them in veg period I think this grow would have failed. When switching the photo period to 12-12 the ladies continued to grow taller really vigorously. Only now (4-5 weeks in flowering) they have stopped growing length and started to fatten up. What makes this grow even funnier is that this strain should have been a super fast to grow (50 days flowering!) and to the date it has taken me somewhere around 10-12 weeks to get to this point😄. Luckily I have had time to wait it out but I think I didn't gain much from the fast flowering time... 😄 It might actually take much longer than 50 days for the ladies to fully ripen. I have actually been so lazy that I didn't even mark the date when switching the light schedule... yes I am an ass... This might be one of the hardest grows I've had in a long time. Mainly it's my own fault for being so fucking lazy, but partially because of the hardware problems as well. As soon as I got the humidity problem fixed the grow became much easier in every aspect (excluding the god damn bugs!). I really hope the end result is good since I have put in the work now that I should have put from day one. With this hobby you literally reap what you sow...
