@Jon_doe12, I think you should still take this male. Because it is enough when both parents carry the recessive ABC gene for it to appear again in the offspring. The leaf shape is much easier and earlier to select in the following generation than a fantastic smell or good stature.

@BalticHaze, Some of the freebies I got where ABC crossed with an unknown f2. These seeds popped within 2-3 day. 2/8 have the little claw on its true leaves. I lost one after it fell and broke at day 7. I should’ve tried to root it. They’re about 2-3 weeks old now. I popped 4 ABC seeds. Took a week for them to sprout, and only 2 made it. The seeds are super tough and they are as slow growing as most people describe them but I also grow them in my windowsill, so they only get 5 hours of direct sun light. I plan on observing the 7 ABC crosses for the smells, growth habits/mutations, tastes, as well as the trichome production and crossing my favorites for and f2 generation as soon as they show signs of sex. I’m hoping that at least one of the plants with slight mutations is a male. My favorite in terms of smell and stature as of right now hasn’t demonstrated any signs of mutation so far but it has a skunky smell already and skunk is one of my favorite scents. Skunk strains aren’t something many people are smoking or selling anymore in my region. I gotta check terpyz out thanks!!
