FIMed one girl, and Topped the other mid week, watered on Friday, and just let them recovery with no direct fan. Backed the light off a couple inches on Sunday.
I didn't like how the girl I FIMed turned out, so I went ahead and topped her on Tuesday, plus I see a little discoloration, So I figured it was time for their first feed. I gave them both 2 table spoons of worm castings Tuesday. Watered on Tuesday, and Sunday this week with Molasses and water again Ph'd around 6.7
Transplanted Monday. Adjusted light height from 15inch to 8 inch, not seeing any sign of stress from the plant, so I assume the veg only light is fine much closer to the tops.
Started low stress training this week, Top dressing with Warm castings tomorrow(Saturday) and watering with molasses and cal-mag.
*watered sunday,- I dipped the bags 3/4 submerged not covering the top, I submerged in a water mix of Cal-Mag, and molasses at 6.8, then Tested the PH runoff (its was 6.3). Topped dressed with Earth worms and a little fish bone, from Down To Earth, and then watered a little on top but not too much this time. I wanted mainly to give my pots a good soak of about 40 seconds and test the PH runoff.
Watered on Thursday with 6.75 ph water, runoff was 6.3, Watered this week with the usual tablespoon of Molasses, and a cap full of cal mag per gallon. No top dressing this week.
Trying to debate to flip to Flower, or just start taking clones, or just get ready to transfer these girls outside instead.
I flipped to flower last Saturday. First time flower with this light, I am a little skeptical, and honestly 1 plant would be perfect, But I haven't flipped on the full power of the light, only the bloom. I will wait till week 3 to give them full power. But honestly I wonder if I could get away with using full power now, because its not super powerful light. Like full power is around 650-750 ppfd. But for this run I will just wait till week three. I went ahead and raised the light so both girls could get as much light as possible evenly. Temps at night been really nice low 60s, No problems so far with these girls, they been easy to care for.
Flowers are coming in nicely now, really developed quickly. Im still on just the bloom light, probably mid week next week I will switch my veg back on with my bloom to give max energy. This week I still haven't had to water at all, soil still has a decent amount of moisture, but I figure latest Sunday, and I will do the dipping strategy for watering (dipping the fabric pots half submerged in clean water with cal-mag and molasses. 1tblspoon per gallon). I like the idea of feeding every other week seeing that these plants look happy. I have periodically done some small amounts of lollypoping thru the week, but nothing stressful. Other than that nothing to report.
Water by dunking 80% root zone for about a minute this week on Saturday, then held at a 45 degree angle over a bucket to catch the excess water. Watered at 6.86 with cal-mag and molasses, Runoff was 6.22
Watered Saturday by dunking 3/4th the pot, with just a little water and molasses and cal-mag(probably didn't need the cal-mag), didn't feed this week, probably will around Thursday. Did my last tie down and pruned off any lower suckers. Had a issue when I switched to full power with some heat stress, luckily caught it with in about a hour, so I had to raise the lamp and they are back to being happy.
Started showing a little Nitrogen Toxicity, I hadn't realized my calmag and molasses has a little Nitrogen. The toxicity may have caused my issues I was experiencing, but now I have that dialed in I will just do another week of just water to make sure. It had me a little stumped till I recognized the slight clawing, I thought phosphorus, or maybe over watering. But 1 plant showed signs of stress and the other did not, it had me confused. But another instance where less is more.
Starting to get a little smell going, still easy growing. Cut back on molasses this week on the watering, also no Cal mag, because I used Seabird Guano 0-11-0 and has 20% calcium. So I figured I would be safe with just that this week, I may try something different next weekend or skip a feed, will see how they look.
Small amount of defoliation this week, I did another top dress of 1tblspoon of Guano and this week 1/2 tblspoon Langbeinite, and I used about 1/2 tablespoon of molasses to the water this week which was phd to 6.77.
I also rotated one plant a little, and the pictures are prewatering, so that's why this weeks pictures don't look as appealing possibly, but they still are not giving me much of any trouble.
Little more smell this week and crystals starting to form up.
I did a Compost tea later in the week at 6.85 ph, about 2/3 a gallon between the two plants
Just a touch of molasses and a half teaspoon of cal mag and ph 6.57 aerator-water this week, and from here out for the next 2+ish weeks. Just watering when I see leaves start to droop at this point.
This is the beginning of week 7 of flower. I am watering almost a gallon every 6 days at regular ph around 6.9 no nutrients, the other (plant on the left) plant is taking about 3/4 a gallon every 6 days. I had a harvest date of the 27th, but subject to change and go a little longer if need.
Looking like some ambers coming in just fine on the little girl.
In fact!!
Its looking like its perfect to the day, there is a saying
-"once you see an average 1 or 2 orange hair on every bud, you will have 3 more weeks till she is ripe"
3 weeks will be Mon-Tues, The time of this post is Sunday night, (1 day and 8 weeks of flower from time of flip.) Supposed to be finished in 7-8 Weeks, her sister is looking much nicer and needs a little more time. Maybe the 27-28th will be perfect for her, that will be 3 weeks since I see 1 orange hair on each of her buds.
**Friday up date, I will be taking down my smallest plant tomorrow morning,
-The two plants weighed a total of 656, one weighing 398, the other 265g full plant wet weight. But using a 60% ratio I would say it was around 393 of wet bud.
-These plants took 9.5 days and lost 74.4% wet weight when I finally heard a snap in the branch indicating dry was done.
-Total dry bud weight off each plant was 62g off the larger plant and 40g off the smaller plant,
-102g total dry bud both plants.
-Smell currently very sweet, but has shifted. Def berries, but occasionally Gas,
