JeyJo 4/17 Thursday On day 23 the ladies were watered with fertilizer 300ml water per plant Monday On day 27 the ladies only received water with a little Calmag 500ml water per plant The ladies tolerated the repotting in 3l well. They have grown very well this week and look very healthy. The tent is slowly getting too small, I hope the weather gets better in the next two weeks so I can put the ladies out I think I'll top it this weekend, but I'm not sure yet

JeyJo Day 29 Today I topped #1 and fimmed #2, #3 is not getting anything done. Day 31 Today they were watered and fertilized. 600ml per plant. Day 32 Today the ladies were repotted into 8L fabric pots and are now being fully grown outdoors. They get 2-3 hours of sun daily and are slowly getting used to the sunlight. The ladies look healthy and are handling the sun great, no burns or pest infestations in sight. The 8L fabric pots were a bit too small in hindsight, I will probably repot them into their 75L final pots next week.

JeyJo Day 36 Today I watered with fertilizer, 1.2L per plant. Day 39 Today I only watered with water and calmag, 1.2L per plant. The ladies have recovered well from the repotting. They also handled the first days in the sun relatively well, there were slight burns visible, so I’ve kept them in the shade for the last few days and only put them in the sun for a maximum of 1-2 hours. I’m not completely satisfied with Lady #2, who was topped; I think my cut was a bit too high. Let’s see what happens next. There’s a slight aphid infestation on plant #3; I’ll probably introduce ladybugs in the next few days, and that should solve the problem. The weather hasn’t been great this week; I hope that changes soon. The last few days it’s only been 15 degrees during the day and around 5 degrees at night.

JeyJo Day 44 Thursday Today I only watered with water and a bit of Calmag. Day 46 Saturday Today I repotted from 8L to 75L. Lady #2, which was fimmed, I topped because the fim cut was probably too high (main stem continued to grow). I also sowed red clover during repotting for nitrogen supply and as protection against drying out the soil surface. This week felt very stressful for the ladies in my opinion. Not much has happened in growth; they generally look unsatisfied, which could also be due to the repotting, aphid infestation, and the slightly higher temperatures this week. Today on day 49, I sprayed the ladies with nettle tea and hope that the aphids will be sorted out in the coming days.

JeyJo Day 50 Wednesday Today, nettle tea was sprayed due to a slight aphid infestation. Day 55 Monday Today, fertilizing was done and a bit of water was given. This week has been relatively calm for the ladies. Nettle tea was sprayed due to the aphid infestation, which didn't really help. It also rained quite a bit, so giving water and fertilizer wasn't possible. On Monday, day 55, I did give a bit of water with fertilizer. On day 54 (Sunday), the first ladybug (Hector) finally arrived and had a feast on Lady #1, removing all the aphids. On day 56 (Tuesday), I moved Hector to Lady #2 so he can do his thing there. The weather doesn't look great for this week, a lot of rain and hardly any sun. I hope next week looks better.

JeyJo Day 59 Today, neem oil was sprayed against the aphids. Day 61 Today, the first watering of the week was done with fertilizer, 10 liters per plant. I defoliated all the ladies today and pruned them generously. For #1, I tied all the shoots down just to see what happens. This week wasn't really good weather, a lot of rain and some sun. I hope summer is coming slowly; all in all, they are making a good impression. #1 85cm #2 80cm #3 100cm

JeyJo Day 69 Today, neem oil was sprayed against aphids. This week, there was neither watering nor fertilizing due to 4 days of continuous rain. JeyJo Day 73 Today, I watered and fertilized 12l per plant. Day 75 Today, I sprayed Leaf Coat from BioBizz. Day 76 Today, I only gave water and Calmag, 12l per plant. This week, the ladies had a nice growth spurt again, 2.5-3cm a day. Some leaves are heavily chewed up; I caught the culprit, little grasshopper babies (I might get a bearded dragon 😉). By the end of the week, some light brown-yellow spots have formed; I'm assuming it's a Calmag deficiency. With all the rain these days, there was hardly any fertilizer, so I've now increased the Calmag and hope it works. #3 is slowly taking on a nice Christmas tree shape. #1 is producing an insane number of shoots at the 2 tops; I was considering cutting all the shoots below the topping (10 in total) so that the full energy can be used up top, but I decided against it since the shoots are already well-developed and will make good colas. This week, cold temperatures are forecasted again, and summer is taking its time this year, which is a shame. #1 92cm #2 109 #3 140cm

I also increased the Calmag amount as there were slight deficiency symptoms visible. The ladies are growing and thriving very well #1 100cm #2 120cm #3 158cm

JeyJo Day 85 Today I fertilized and watered 18L per plant Day 90 Today I fertilized and watered 18L per plant At the beginning of the week, I discovered baby bugs and removed them immediately. The week started off smoothly; the weather was finally consistent and warm. By the end of the week, the ladies started getting yellow leaves at the bottom, which I generously removed. I can't yet determine if it's a deficiency or of natural origin since the ladies are very bushy and have a lot of leaves. I'll keep an eye on it in the coming days and possibly increase the amount of fertilizer. So far, I'm sticking to the fertilization schedule from BioBizz. The yellow leaves became noticeable within 3 days and turned completely yellow relatively quickly.

JeyJo Day 92 Today, fertilizing and watering were done. Day 94 Today, nematodes were given. Day 96 Today, watering and fertilizing were done. Day 98 Today, horn meal was given. This week the weather was very good, a lot of sun and high temperatures. In the middle of the week, nematodes were given against fungus gnat larvae. At the end of the week, horn meal was given for more nitrogen. The plants look relatively healthy; I hope the nitrogen deficiency will be resolved with the horn meal and the ladies will be lush green again. The weather for next week doesn't look very promising.

JeyJo Day 102 Today, watering and fertilizing were done. Day 104 Today, watering and fertilizing were done. This week went smoothly. Pests are all under control now, and none are visible anymore. The ladies are currently having an insane hunger for nutrients. The horn meal is starting to take effect; the ladies have developed a slightly darker leaf color. Occasionally, yellow leaves are appearing, but they are all on the plants; I think they are not needed since hardly any sunlight is getting to them.

Grow Questions
JeyJo
JeyJostarted grow question 2y ago
I noticed a brown spot on the stem today. The shoot that's growing from it is very loose and sticking out; is that a fungal infection? What can be done about it?

Merulixanswered grow question 2y ago
Looks like mold. I would cut off the shoot and scrape away the infestation as best as possible. From my experience in organic vegetable cultivation, I know that such spots are then generously smeared with a "slurry" of water and rock dust. I don't know if rock dust specifically has a fungicidal effect, but it also seals the spot.

JeyJo Day 107 Today, only watered 15l per plant Day 109 Today, watered and fertilized Day 111 Today, watered and fertilized From day 111, I switched to S&R GreenPower 5in1 Let's see what the fertilizer can do Day 113 Today, watered and fertilized #3 had a fungus on the stem this week that I scraped off and removed the shoot, I hope the fungus doesn't spread further. #1 was defoliated a bit more radically on day 112 and some shoots were removed. The horn meal seems to be working, the ladies have become significantly darker and look healthier. The weather this week has been very good, hope it stays that way. #3 has broken the 2m mark ☺️ (goal achieved) I expect the flowering to begin in the next 2 weeks, first signs are there.

JeyJo Not much happened this week, the ladies are incredibly thirsty; they're currently getting 15 liters of water with nutrients every 36 hours. No pests are visible anymore, I hope it stays that way. Occasionally, a bird sits in there but hasn't caused any damage yet. I lightly defoliated all 3 plants since they are quite bushy. This week had fantastic weather, and the plants made a good growth spurt. Now it should slowly start to go into flowering. #1 160cm #2 190cm #3 216cm

JeyJo This week the weather was really good again, almost a bit too hot. The ladies are currently getting 15 liters per plant per day and every time 6ml/l of S&R Organics GreenPower. I'm very satisfied with the fertilizer right now. I've now slightly moved the plants so they can spread out a bit; they are currently growing very strong, maybe this is already the stretch, but I can't say that 100% yet. This week will probably involve some heavy defoliation since they are already very bushy. I'm waiting daily for the first flower sites. #1 170cm #2 200cm #3 230cm

JeyJo This week went on without any problems. The temperatures are currently very high at 33 degrees, the ladies need about 20 liters a day right now. JeyJo This week the temperatures were very good at 33 degrees. I defoliated and cleared #2 at the bottom. #2 was also moved to another spot since it was too cramped and hardly any light was reaching the sides. #1 lost a branch at the end of the week; it was about 170 cm and I could just pull it out, it must have gotten something. The buds are now also looking good, and thus the first week of flowering is coming to an end. The weather forecast looks very good for the coming week, no rain.

JeyJo This week the weather was great again. #3 was defoliated, with small shoots removed from the bottom, and I'll be trimming it a bit more from the top in the coming days. The buds are developing very well. At the beginning of flowering week 3, there were 25g of phosphorus per plant. This week, #1 and #2 will be defoliated and trimmed.

JeyJo The flowering is increasing daily and getting bigger. #3 is drying out from the top down on the main stem; I strongly suspect a Fusarium infection. I’ve watered with 3% hydrogen peroxide to hopefully get it under control, but I think we’re going to lose #3. #1 and #3 have been defoliated, and the inner shoots and popcorn buds removed. #2 will be defoliated and cleaned up this week. This week, it was over 30 degrees every day, which is almost too warm. Let’s see what the coming week brings and what happens with #3.

JeyJo The last few days have seen a lot of heavy rain, and the temperatures are currently around 22 degrees during the day, dropping below 10 degrees at night, and it's getting humid. Let's see how they handle it. The buds are slowly developing and smell pleasantly spicy; they are also looking nice and frosty, well-covered with trichomes. I hope the temperatures pick up again in the next few weeks.

JeyJo This week the weather was terrible, a lot of rain and very windy. #2 got hit by the wind and ended up in the dirt, which split the main stem that I fixed with cable ties; so far everything is holding and the shoots are being taken care of. #3 also broke a shoot due to too much rain and the weight of the buds, which I also secured with cable ties and strings; currently, it is being taken care of as well. I’ve now tied a rope around the shoots at the bottom so nothing is pushing down anymore. Better weather is forecast for next week. At night it dropped to 7 degrees, which you can also see in the bud growth.

JeyJo This week started off okay but ended up being terrible. Rain and very windy. I tied down and secured most of them; the buds are getting heavier, and the water from the rain is pushing them down hard, and 1-2 branches broke off that I had tied with zip ties. The trichomes are still glassy; I think they need another 2-3 weeks, hope the weather cooperates.
