1st Grow 2024: Skittie (Zkittlez OG Auto)

Gurlifiegger 15.04.2024: This week is going to be a bit more challenging when it comes to the weather: from sunny and over 20°C last week to rainy and less than 10°C. To make sure the little plant still gets some light, Skittie (yes, it has a name) is by the window (east) with a 10W plant lamp, a budget desk lamp, and a foil reflector. So far, I'm very happy with the progress. 17.04.2024: Yesterday, I repotted the plant from its previous 12L fabric pot into the final 22L fabric pot. For the next grows, I will plant the germinated seeds directly into the 22L pot. Fortunately, the plant has shown no signs of stress. 19.04.2024: Today, I noticed a slight smell for the first time. I didn't expect that so early!

Gurlifiegger 22.04.2024: The weather is still really cold outside, but it's supposed to get better towards the weekend! Then Skittie will finally get some direct sun on the balcony again. The indoor backup solution is working pretty well, though. 24.04.2024: Today, for the first time, you can clearly see side branches where the leaves grow on the stem. 27.04.2024: Today I watered for the first time with fertilizer. 28.04.2024: Yesterday was the first day in a while that Skittie could spend outside in direct sunlight. You can see that she enjoyed it by her growth: +1cm in just one day, new record! The weather is supposed to stay nice until next Wednesday.

Gurlifiegger 29.04.2024: Beginn des LST. Die Blätter mögen es nicht, die Erde direkt zu berühren, wie man an den Flecken auf den Blättern sehen kann. 30.04.2024: Habe das LST angepasst und die Pflanze nicht direkt über dem Boden sondern weiter oben in die Horizontale geschickt. LST ist anspruchsvoller, als es auf den Blick scheint. 01.05.2024: So langsam bin ich zufrieden mit dem Stand des LST. Jetzt heißt es erstmal abwarten, bis die Nebenzweige größer geworden sind. 05.05.2024: Inzwischen sollte die endgültige Form des LST stehen. Ich glaube meine mehrfachen Nachbesserungen und Korrekturen haben der Pflanze Energie geraubt, was nicht optimal ist. Aber jetzt sollte es passen und ich lasse die Pflanze erstmal so.

Gurlifiegger 06.05.2024: Today, Skittie has reached the height she had before the start of LST again. More pistils are visible. From this week, the fertilization schedule will switch from "Growing" to "Preflowering." 09.05.2024: From today, the sun will shine for five days, which will be good for the plants! 12.05.2024: Skittie spent two nights outside at a low temperature of 9-10°C due to my absence, but she has still developed very well in the last few days.

Gurlifiegger 13.05.2024: New growth record! 2cm in one day! The pre-flowering phase has definitely kicked in a growth turbo. The side branches are also growing nicely. 14.05.2024: Oh wow, plus 4 cm in one day! Part of it is actual growth, another part is because it's straightening up a bit and pulling my support hook out of the soil. Had to adjust the LST now and secure Skittie to the edge of the pot. It will be visible in tomorrow's pictures. 19.05.2024: The flowering has begun! (And I burned a leaf last night with my desk lamp...) Last night I also applied a bit of LST to work the side branches out.

Gurlifiegger 21.05.2024: Skittie is still doing quite well. Unfortunately, the weather is going to be pretty miserable this week. I ordered a grow light, which I hope will arrive soon.

Gurlifiegger 27.05.2024: Today my 65W lamp arrived! I hung it up right away and pushed the plants underneath. I’ll be able to light the ladies for 20 hours a day from now on :) 01.06.2024: I haven't been home for a few days and kept the lamp running for 20 hours a day. Wow, the plants have grown! The light really makes a difference! I'm really happy with the progress! But I find it interesting that Skittie has been stagnating at 30cm for a while now. 02.06.2024: The buds look very nice and smell pretty good now. I'm very happy with how things are going.

Gurlifiegger 03.06.2024: Skittie is continuing to develop very well and already has a nice smell. 05.06.2024: Not much is happening anymore, the development of the flowers is now being prioritized.

Gurlifiegger 11.06.2024: Wild days for Skittie... I discovered aphids over the weekend, so I removed the affected leaves. Since then, it’s been quiet; it seems to have worked. And today, unfortunately, I found bud rot in the large main bloom. With a heavy heart, I immediately cut off the bloom and disposed of it in a plastic bag. Hopefully, the mold hasn’t spread to the rest of the plant or even to the other plants. I’m now paying closer attention to the humidity and have installed a fan.
