Seeds cracked between 16th and 18th of april using the paper towel method. Planted in a 80:20 mix of Biobizz Light Mix and Biobizz Coco Coir. Added 2 tbsp of ewc and 1/4 teaspoon of seaweed powder to the mix for all three containers. 04-18-2024 Seed planted on the 16th sprouted and looks perfectly healthy 04-20-2024 Both sseds planted on the 18th sprouted today

04-28-2024 I decided to grow out the two younger plants because from the leaf structure it seems like I have two different phenotypes. The two 12 day old plants were already properly rooted to hold the rootball in the 1l container together without breaking up when repotting. Perfect timing as it seems. The older plant will go in a very small container to produce seeds using sts using the left over coots mix with some added light mix. Going to stop feeding CalMag at this point as there are enough minerals in the soil. Watering with pure ro. Will add some gypsum and/or epsom salt if necessary. 04-30-2024 48h after transplanting into Coot's mix both plants are doing great and show steady growth.

05-01-2024 Start of week 3 going pretty well. Light runs at a 40% / 45cm distance to canopy delivering close to 300ppfd. 05-02-2024 Plants look perfectly healthy. I am really pleased with the Coot's mix so far. 05-06-2024 Added a mulch layer of straw. Light runs at 50% / 45cm distance to canopy delivering close to 350ppfd.

05-08-2024 Both plants show slight clawing. Right plant shows slight leaf curling. Lowering the humidity to 50%. 05-11-2024 Raising the VPD from 0.8-0.9 to 1.1-1.2 gave a huge boost in growth. Next autoflower grow I will aim for a vpd of 0.8-0.9 for the first 14 days and then raise to 1.0-1.2 in the following 2 weeks. It seems like I wasted a lot of potential by not raising the vpd earlier. 05-13-2024 Calibrated my hygrometer because I was very sceptic of it's reading and the fucker is 9 points too low. Lessons learned.

05-14-2024 They are definitely starting to stretch. Removed the lowest set of branches on the left and the bottom shoots of the lowest two sets of branches on the right. Raising the DLI to 40 and the VPD to 1.3-1.5 05-20-2024 Plants are growing very fast right now. Removed a few leafs at the bottom and used some light lst to open up the canopy of the right plant.

05-21-2024 Entering week two of flowering. Inoculated with TNC MycorrHydro and took off some lower fan leafs and some lower bud sites. Need to apply some lst on the left plant soon. Still at a DLI of 40 and VPD of 1.4-1.5. 05-23-2024 Plants are still streching hard. At about 60cm in height by now. Getting about 1,5l ro water every morning. 05-25-2024 Gave the plants the final low stress training to open up the canopy as much as possible. 05-26-2024 Starting to produce resin on the leaves and is staring to smell incredible. 05-27-2024 Plants start to show slight nitrogen deficiency on the lowest leafs. Going to feed with compost tea tomorrow.

05-28-2024 Plants are both lacking nitrogen. Feeding over night compost tea as a quick first aid. Fingers crossed this will work as intended. 05-30-2024 Plants got some ewc compost tea with added gypsum and epsom salt. Top dressed with ewc as well. I figured that they ran out of nitrogen and magnesium what was to be expected considering the size of the pots. They stopped stretching by day 43. 06-02-2024 Took off the lower leafs that got hit by the deficiencies. Started to add Gypsum, Epsom Salt, Biobizz Bio Grow, Bio Bloom and Top Max to the daily watering to help her stack. The soil seems to be completely depleted after 5 weeks. 06-05-2024 She is flowering fast. Added some macro shots.

06-07-2024 Plants recovered from the Magnesium deficiency pretty well. They are starting to smell very intense already but I don't get any cheese notes. 06-10-2024 Realized I was just underwatering my plants since they started flowering. Going to use the blumats again next run. 06-19-2024 Coming along well considering the cirumstances. 2 weeks I suppose.

06-21-2024 We are close to the finish line. Switched to cutting my ro water with 25% tap water because of the issues I had with pure ro during the grow. My water now comes out at about 0.2 ec and ph of 6.7 to 6.8. Adding a tiny pinch of epsom salt per 5 liter. After a lot of thought I came to the conclusion that the pure ro stripped the soil of minerals mainly calcium and magnesium. As a result the soil didn't buffer as well and the low ph of the ro water locked out the nutrient uptake. Top dressing and adding gypsum and epsom salt to the ro did not fix the problem with the desired effects as I suddenly got calcium toxicity. That was the point were I decided to cut my ro with tap and add some epsom salt. As you can see on latest pictures the plants did recover nicely compared to two weeks ago. They started to get a natural greenish leaf color again. For my next soil grow I will keep using 75% ro + 25% tap + epsom salt. First time using ro water and already learned a lot. 06-25-2024 Everything goes smoth. They already requier a lot less water then the previos days so senescence is in full swing and harvest gets closer by the day. Applied a light feeding with bat guano to boost terpene content. 1tsp per gallon of water mixed down to 50/50. 06-26-2024 Buds still swelling and the microscope tells me that I should harvest by the end of the week as there are already the first signs of amber trichomes on the top buds.

06-27-2024 We are very close to harvest. The trichomes on the main cola and the lower buds are telling me to wait. Still some clear but mostly millky and very few amber trichomes 06-30-2024 Checked the trichomes again today. Mephisto states 75 to 80 days from seed to harvest and my guess is that's spot on. She should be completely cloudy between day 75 and 80. For amber I would have to let her go another week I guess but thats not what I am after. 07-02-2024 Day 75 and we are still not there yet. She got one last watering with some added biobizz grow, gloom and top max to increase sugar production one last time. She will be harvested when she has run completely dry in a few days. 07-02-2024 Day 75 and we are still not there yet. 07-09-2024 Plants were dry enough to be jarred up after only six days because of the high temps I am facing. Each plant yielded about 90 grams dry. Phenotype one matches the terpene profile of its cannatonic parent. The flowers and buds also look a lot like the cannatonic pics I found online. Phenotype two has a terpene profile that's very close to the terpene profile of NYC Diesel... knowing that Cannatonic is a cross between Reina Madre x NYC Diesel this is no surprise. The effects of phenotype two are uplifting, motivating, anxiety lifting, clear headed cerebral high with the benefits of the calming cbd. Phenotype one's effects are more relaxing and calming. It feels like it has lower thc and higher cbd content than phenotype two and the effects aren't what I would associate with a sativa dominant strain. It works well for my chronic pain and as a bed time smoke. Overall I am very pleased with the outcome of this grow.
