Smaller grow box, broken led lamp, so seedlings stretched a bit. Humidity is low and I know it, probably will keep them on vegetation 1-2 weeks more than planned. They share 20L dwc, not sure if will separate them
Changed lights and location, one of the LEDs died lately, moved them to another box with 250w LED, but it's higher than the previous one, also 2 11w LED hanging about 20 cm left, so the girls tries to reach it. Switching light schedule in a week or two, I wait for more space, but probably should have started forming them already
At the end of week 4, I've switched the lights to 12/12 and separated the plants, leaving one of them under 150w lamp.
Also started to bend the main stem of Kabul Express. I'll probably make a timelapse of one/both of them, both girls grow pretty fast, and Kabul seem to be much bigger and elongate more.
I've switched the lights chedule to 12/12 and girls grew a lot, but no stigmas at the end of the week - I don't really remember if it's ok, and guess next week I'll see some. As you can see I'm going screenless ScrOG with Kabul Express, ahaha. It continues stretching, and I guess it will take the whole space soon, I hope pre-flower won't take too long and I could handle its growth.
Sugar black rose (SBR) is tiny compared to KE, I added 1 diy lamp with 4 50w LED COBs, not sure about exact wattage now, it might happen that SBR got more watts than Kabul Express (300 vs 250?) but the light is horizontal, experimenting here and have no idea how to handle flowering this way, ahah. I also fucked up a few times and completely forgot to add water, and it resulted in chem burns on leaves, gotta be more cautious later. As usual
Felt greedy and moved SBR back, they're together again, started one more plant, planning to add another diary soon. Girls look good! Already started blooming, stigmas appeared at the beginning of week 2, buds seem to start forming. Since SBR is a bit smaller than KE she has a podium to stand on. Like a queen ahah. I've cut 2 lower branches of KE, and few from SBR. Not sure about defoliation at the moment, Leaves under the lights seem to be ventilated well and aren't wet
Not everything went well this week - I've used some stress stimulator and burnt leaves a bit, changed aero rocks in hydro since old ones got cluttered. Solutions PH goes up for some reasons, better learn some chemistry to figure out why ahah. It's still about ~ 1300, so I'm not adding any nutrients this week nor I plan to change the solution completely. I guess I'll add a bit big bud and monitor ph and ppm
I skipped adding nutrients this week, only Big Bud and some water this week. Changed the solution completely before flowering week 5. Flowers look good to me, I guess I could cut some already if not growdiaries. XD
I also did some late defoliation, and I hope it wasn't too late and the stress will make girls stronger and won't slow the growth down.
Adding "Overdrive", three weeks till harvest. Kabul express has more berries in the aroma, while sugar black rose is kinda piney IMO. Old chem burns on leaves, no problems this week. And buds got a lot bigger and look pretty tasty!
All well. Cut couple of branches in drunk massacre cuz was out of weed. Microwave drying isn't the best solution so I have no thoughts on weed quality for now. I'm not adding any nutrients except Overdrive, planning to move to flush slowly adding only water this week.
Cut few more lower branches and smoked it this week. Not so indica effects since both girls not finished yet. And Kabul Express buds are kinda fluffy compared to SBR's. I've decided to flush Kabul Express for 1 week, and give SBR one week more and then flush.
Nothing new here. I've been overfeeding her badly, now flushing for a week. Trichomes amount is stunning and the smell is awesome. There are rose and some berries IMO. Seems to be a good candidate for extracting
The weight is rough since I cut a few branches before the main harvest, and I flushed for 5 days only, but knowing myself another way I would cut more and not sure if I could dry and heal it well enough ahahah.
Super tasty Indica! Buds filled with sugar as the name supposes, fingers got glued while trimming. Better give her longer veg period, flowering was about the same as specs said.
I was constantly comparing her to Kabul Express that grew alongside and the first impression was that she's weaker and not a good yielder, but in the end, I'm very satisfied because it gave about the same amount of crop as the other plant - the buds are just much denser and filled with trichomes. And also the taste is fantastic. I guess I'll grow it again sooner or later. And I think longer veg. period are the better since she's photoperiod it is a good idea to form her before flowering and not being so hurried as I was. I'll update data later when I'll get a dry weight.
