My very first - QuickOne

knackundback 7 days after germination, transplanted into 11L pots with Floragard Grow soil. One seedling fell over on me, the one in the crooked Jiffy came out really crooked, but it will catch up in the following days. In general, I don't feel like fussing too much with my plants. The pH value of my tap water is 7.5. I don't feel like changing it. I only water when the soil is dry 2cm deep. I try to keep the temperature around 25°C (sometimes it's also 28°; at night the temperature drops to 18°C). The humidity is usually between 50-60%. But sometimes it drops down to 40%. I still like the development of the plants, so I'm not changing anything.

knackundback Two weeks after germination. I think that's okay. A few fungus gnats were in the tent due to some other plants in the room. The ladies seem to have survived them well (only a yellow card; no nematodes, but I have them in store). I will continue to water infrequently and intervene as little as possible.

knackundback Another week gone. I'm happy with the development. The last fungus gnat was spotted 10 days ago, so I guess I missed the chalice. I generally have to water surprisingly little. Just under a liter per plant is enough for 3-4 days. The soil should still have enough nutrients. I'll probably only fertilize during the flowering phase (which isn't that long away; it's amazing how fast it goes) During the day, the humidity is around 50%. At night, when the lights are off, the humidity rises to 70%. Let's see how I regulate it during the flowering phase. My dehumidifier is definitely too big for the box. knackundback The week started well until I noticed the yellow tips on day 24. I had actually ruled out overfertilization as I hadn't fertilized at all. Apparently, however, the nitrogen is released/absorbed irregularly in pre-fertilized soil. The Floragard Grow Mix is apparently very strong and more suitable for photoperiodic plants. I skipped the planned fertilization with Terra Vega accordingly. However, my girls survived the whole thing well and have now entered the flowering phase. On day 29, I gave them their first fertilization with Terra Flores. I'm currently watering one liter every 2 days. I had problems getting the humidity down. It was actually always over 60% in the grow tent. I had to open the tent and set up a dehumidifier in the room, so I get 40-50 LF, but the room also gets quite warm from the dehumidifier and half the house “smells” of the three ladies. Not ideal, the next grow will go outside in June. I have the feeling that I should defoliate the plants to give the buds more light. But I don't want to stress the plant, especially as it's an automatic. .... So far I've only tried to pinch off the large leaves. Maybe you have some advice for me!

The flowers are still relatively small, but the first pistils are already orange. According to RQS, the plant still has 3 weeks of flowering, so I will increase the fertilization from 2 to 3 times a week and generally give it a bit more water. Still, I think the development is pretty okay. Or do you see it differently? Feel free to give me some input. =)

Otherwise, not much happens; the first leaves are fading and the plants show phosphorus deficiency (purple stems and a few brown spots) and possibly also potassium deficiency (stretched leaves). At least that's what I suspect. I now look at the trichomes every day. Today I spotted the first brown ones. It's going too fast after all. Today the youngest plant is 7 weeks old, the other two are 2-3 days older. According to the data sheet, Quick One needs 8-10 weeks. Was I too frugal with the fertilizer? Do I need to pay more attention to the pH value in future and possibly also bring the EC value into play? All in all, I'm happy with my first grow. I'm now looking forward to the final phase (how much longer until harvest? 1-2 weeks?) and I already have lots of ideas in my head for my next grow. I look forward to your comments. =)
