lurdlord Hey all :) I'm going on an exciting journey by starting my first grow and I don't really have any grower friends - So I wanna share it here! Started with Blueberry from BULK genetics. Originally wanted Sensi Seeds Sticky Orange XXL, but the delivery was extremely delayed. I started the seed off in water for around 36h and then between two cotton pads for ~12h. When I saw about 1cm tap root I transferred into a clean Pringles can with expanded clay at the bottom and regular herb- and seedling soil from the grocery store (that had been sitting under my sink for two years lol) on top. I'm keeping her on the south-facing window still until she's big enough to go on the balcony. Weekend's supposed to get warm, so I'm hoping for fast growth.

lurdlord Week one since she popped out of the ground, I kept her outside on the balcony in warm, sunny weather. I added a plastic dome for humidity and an improvised reflector for more sunlight. In hindsight, the plant probably took some heat damage here since it got really hot inside the reflector, but she's fine now. I drilled small holes in the can for better air circulation. I watered in small amounts occasionally with plain tap water that was left out overnight and added nematodes. I removed the humidity dome. The Pringles can itself wasn't great for the balcony, it toppled over from cats or the wind a few times, but the plant remained firmly rooted. I still had to top off the soil. During this time my proper grow equipment arrived and I started germination on two more Blueberry Autos. I set up 9L pots with Bio Bizz Light Mix, watered the soil with a very small amount of nutrients and boosters

lurdlord Week 2 starts inside as the weather was getting worse and I didn't want to stress plant #1 more. #2 and #3 started in the tent under a 75W lamp that I had to gradually increase to 75% output to stop the seedlings stretching. I kept them under plastic domes as well. I watered occasionally in small amounts. On Day 14 for #1 I repotted it out of the Pringles can into an 11L pot ... I'm sorry :( But the plant was lagging behind and I felt really bad, it's my first grow and it felt weird not trying my best for this plant to conduct an experiment.

lurdlord Week 3 saw some speedy growth from all 3 ladies :) I watered #1 with 1L w/ nutes twice this week. #2 and #3 only got small sips of tap water to keep the soil moist for the nematodes. At the end of the week each got 500 ml plain tap water. I also topped off the soil in the small ones to counteract the stretching. For the time being I'm not using my ventilation system and instead leaving the tent open a smidge and ventilating a few times a day. I'll be moving them all out on the balcony again in maybe a week or so.

Hey Growmie! Good luck and success with your first grow! I would recommend planting autoflowers directly in the final pot since they usually don't like being transplanted. Also, especially in the beginning, it's a good idea to put a dome over your seedling to keep the humidity consistent. However, I'm also a newbie, and as they say, there are many ways to Rome, so good luck again!

@Sickone, Thanks! The good one is already in the final pot, I saw other Pringle can grows and thought that would take some of the pressure off for my first time. But I have other seeds on the way that will go into a proper pot. I’ve now put a cut plastic bottle over it, thanks for the tip!
