Signs of Nutrient Poisoning due All Mix Medium. Other than that, the seedlings are growing every other day.
200 W 80 Evo Sanlight at 160 cm 100% Brightness due to missing dimmer.
- The plants have been moved from Germination kit to 0.5 L Plastic pods. The new medium is a mix of %25 Coco & %75 All Mix now.
- Mychorrhizal powder inoculant has been added on the roots while transferring
- No Nutrient added just watering with 6.3 Ph Tap Water 2 times a day approx. 200 ml per plant on each watering
- Chemical Bride is showing signs of Nutrient poising due to High Mix Medium but new leaves seems healthy.
- King's Kush is just doing fine.
- %40 Brightness at 60 cm Height (starting on 24.04)
- Transferred to 15 L Pots on 28.04
- Mychorrhizal powder inoculant has been added on the roots and into the medium while transferring
- Realized that the brightness was set incorrectly to 20% since 24.04 (Stunt Growth..) and fixed it to 55% on 01.05
- Still no nutrient added, just watering distilled tap water at 6.3 Phd
- Old Humidifier started not functioning on 24.04 / Replaced the humidifier on 26.04 which helped me increase/control humidity
- Still no LSD
- Still no Topping
- New medium is a mix of 25% Coco (distributed on top) / 75% All Mix
- Started my Low Stress Training on 03.05 by topping and defoliation of the lower leaves
- Plan was to have 2 main stems on each plant but while mainlining I broke one of the main stems of King's Kush
- I quickly used a rubber band to fix it and waited for 2 days but had no luck
- So I removed the defected stems and had only one main line left as in the classical method
- This created a lot of stress on King's Kush, causing stunt growth but it started recovery after 3 days by developing new leaves. Not ideal look though.
- Chemical Bride seems to handle it better since there has been no accident etc.
- Also increased my light intensity to 70% on 06.05 which translates to 63% in SanLight Led Lamps considering first 20% is equal to 0%. I know that it's weird but as a side not, finding that out so late slowed my growth.
- I have also increased the light distance to 65 cm on the same day.
- I have also started GreenHouse Bio Enhancer on 04.05 which helps root development and I plan to apply it every 2 weeks until Harvest.
- On 08.05, I started to observe downward Clawing at one of leaf tips of Chemical Bride. According to my research, there are 3 possible reasons: Nutrient Burn, Over Heating or Over Watering. I do not believe that it is a nutrient burn so I stick to Option 2 and 3. In line with that diagnosis, I am planning to increase the light distance to 70 cm and to shifting the watering cycle to every 3 days instead of 2 days.
- No Nutrients added yet because I still believe in my all mix soil. The Plan is to start with GreenHouse BioGrow Powder in reduced portion in Week 6 and then start feeding GreenHouse BioBloom Powder beginning of Flowering at Week 7 or 8.
- Temp fluctuated between 21 & 30 Celcius which might be the potential reason for clawing. This week I am trying to stabilize it by increasing the running time for AC during daytime and limiting at nighttime.
- VPD fluctuated between 0,4 and 1.4 kPa in Week 4. Ideally it should be around 0,8 - 1.1. I am also trying to stabilize it by adjusting the runtimes of the humidifier.
- On 08.05, I started using yellow stick bands for insect prevention.
- LST continues by stretching the plant outwards.
- Mainlining will be finished this week.
- Chemical Bride is progressing healthy.
- But, I broke one of the main stems of Kings Kush again (14.05) and one side of the plant was looking like it was dying on the day of the accident. But, this time it recovered quickly in 2 days which slowed down the growth though. This left remarkable damage on the leaves as you can see on 15.05.
- Kings Kush also showed signs of overwatering. So, I increased watering cycle to every 4 days.
- Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides.
- My AC Infinity Auto Oscillating Clip Fan arrived on 16th. I have 2 Clip Fans (Up and Down) now.
- I increased my light intensity to 80% on 14.05 which translates to 75% in SanLight.
- VPD still fluctuates between 0,4 and 1.4 kPa in Week, averaging at 1,21 kPa.
- Temperature is more stabilized between 22 - 27.5 Celsius, averaging at 25.2.
- Humidity fluctuates a lot between 40-90%, averaging at 62.6% which very negatively affected Kings Kush. I need to find a way to stabilize Humidity as soon as possible.
- LST continues by stretching the plant outwards.
- Both plants are progressing healthy. Kings Kush is lagging a little due to several accidents.
- Increased watering cycle to every 4 days resolved overwatering issue.
- Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides.
- I increased my light intensity to 90% on 21.05 which translates to 92% in SanLight which increased the temp heavily. I plan to increase inline fan speed on 2 week of flowering which will decrease temp.
- VPD fluctuates between 1,0 and 1.4 kPa this week, averaging at 1,27 kPa.
- Temperature is stabilized at 23 at night and 28.5 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.8. A little higher than last week due to increased light intensity.
- Humidity is much more stabilized between 45-75%, averaging at 61.9% which showed very positive effect on growth.
- Scrog Net is set up on 22.05 but not really being used.
- Entering last week of Veg.
- LST continues by stretching the plant outwards.
- Both plants are progressing healthy. Kings Kush is still slightly lagging a little due to several accidents.
- Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides. But still leaving outskirt fan leaves.
- Light intensity is still at 90% which is still causing increased temp. I plan to increase inline fan speed on 2nd week of flowering which will decrease temp.
- VPD fluctuated this week with some extreme spikes when I opened the tent. But generally cruised between 0.8 and 1.8 kPa , but it was generally more stabilized averaging at 1,34 kPa. This week, I completely stopped using the humidifier.
- Temperature is stabilized at 22 at night and 28.5 Celsius at day time, averaging at 26.3. A little higher than last week due to increased light intensity. But the plan is to run the growth 2 more weeks with higher Temps around 27-28 Celcius. 2nd week of flowering, I will increase inline fan speed which will hopefully decrease both temp and humidity.
- Humidity is much more stabilized between 50-68%, averaging at 61%.
- Removed one of Scrog Nets on 26.05.
- Last defoliation before Flowering was applied on 27.05.
- Increased pot height of King’s Kush to keep the same height as Chemical Bride.
- On 29.05, switched to 12-12, Topped the soil with Plagron Light Mix Soil around 2 liters each pod and added 50 gr of Greenhouse Feeding BioBloom in both pods which is the only nutrient support I will be applying through the whole flowering phase.
- Also, on 29.05, I measured the Soil Ph and I realized that it dropped from 6.1 to 5.8. Increasing the water Ph gradually from 6.3 to 6.5 now.
- LST continues by stretching the plant outwards.
- Both plants are progressing healthy. Kings Kush is cathing up.
- Soft Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides. But still leaving outskirt fan leaves. A big defoliation and lollipopping will be applied in 3rd week.
- Light intensity is still at 90% which is still resilting with increased temp.
- VPD still fluctuated this week between 1.0 and 1.7 kPa , averaging at 1,27 kPa.
- Temperature is stabilized at 22 at night and 27 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.2. A little lower than last week due to cold weather in Berlin. But the plan is to run the growth 1 more week with higher Temps around 27 Celcius. 2nd week of flowering, I will increase exhaustion fan speed which will hopefully decrease both temp and humidity.
- Humidity is stabilized between 50-70%, averaging at 60.4%. This week, I have added a BonAura AirOne dehumidifier into my tent. It collects around 200 ml of water per day.
- Increased the water Ph gradually to 6.6 now as Soil Ph is decreasing week on week under 6. I will keep measuring and I might increase water Ph further if necessary.
- LST continues by stretching the plant outwards.
- Both plants continue to stretch. Lamp distance is at 45 cm now.
- Soft Defoliation continues. I am trying to remove fan leaves shadowing potential bud sides. But still leaving outskirt fan leaves. A big defoliation and lollipopping will be applied end of 3rd week.
- Light intensity is at 100% since 12.06. The heat is still manageable as the outside weather is still around 21 C during day and around 10 C at night (Plants day).
- VPD fluctuated this week between 1.0 and 1.6 kPa , averaging at 1,32 kPa. I still manage to gradually increase the VPD.
- Tent temperature is much more stabilized at 22 at night and 26 Celsius at day time, averaging at 23.6. Temp is a little lower than last week even with increased light intensity due to the cold weather in Berlin. Still didn't increase the exhaust fan speed. New plan is to increase it on 16th Jun when the outside weather temperature starts to increase.
- Humidity fluctuated between 50-65% this week, averaging at 54.6%. I managed to decrease the humidity gradually week on week but there are huge spikes on rainy days. BonAura AirOne dehumidifier continues to collect around 200 ml of water per day which does not seem to have an huge impact over the humidity.
- This week, I increased the water Ph as the medium Ph is still under 6 cruising around 5,8. Mid week, I watered with an higher PH of 7,6, followed by a watering of 6.8 Ph. This even did not increase the medium Ph as expected.
- Started to see some yellowing on the tips of the 2 or 3 leaves which seems like a Potassium or Calcium deficiency but I believe that it is related to the PH of the medium. Still observing before making any major nutrient increase.
- Added an extra 20 grams of BioBloom (GreenHouse Feeding) per pot this week as the planned Flowering cycle is 9 weeks.
- Streching is almost fully stopped.
- Had to elevate the pot of Kings Kush 10 cm more as Chemical Bride is significantly bigger in size.
- A big defoliation and Lollipoping are applied on 18.06 which kind of stunned the growth for the next 1-2 days.
- Humidity has been a very big problem in Berlin due multiple storms this week as it cruised around 70-85 % outside whole week.
- VPD fluctuated this week between 0,75 and 1.7 kPa , averaging at 1,15 kPa. Lower than last week…
- Tent temperature fluctuated around 22 at night and 26 Celsius at day time, averaging at 24.2. Slightly higher than last week even though iI have increased the inline fan speed on 16.06.
- Humidity fluctuated crazy between 50-75% this week, averaging at 61.6.
- This week, I kept giving increased Ph (6.8) of water as the medium Ph is still under 6 cruising around 5,8.
- Trichome development has started, already seeing frosting on Chemical Bride.
- White pistils are slowly turning orange on Kings Kush.
- Streching is ended.
- Just like last week, humidity has been a very big problem in Berlin due to multiple storms and heat waves this week as it spiked between 50-85 % outside whole week.
- VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.65 kPa , averaging at 1,29 kPa. Better than last week because of the crazy heat wave covering huge humidity.
- Tent temperature fluctuated around 24 at night and 27-28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.2. A lot higher than last week even though I have increased the exhaust fan speed but that’s all my exhaust fan can handle.
- Humidity fluctuated crazy between 50-85% this week, averaging at 59.8. Not much I can do other than trusting the non-stop ventilation in the tent.
- This week, I kept giving increased Ph (6.8) of water first half of the week as the medium Ph is still cruising under 6. But then I switched to 6.5 on the 2nd half of the week.
- Much more frosting can be observed on Chemical Bride.
- White pistils are slowly turning orange on both plants and the flowers are gaining mass.
- Both have a similar pleasent gummy smell.
- I believe that Kings Kush is not as capable as Chemical Bride in terms of heat and humidity resistance. My observation is that Chemical Bride is a week ahead already. But let’s see!!
- This week, I will add a dehumidifier to the setup.
- Humidity has been high in Berlin again but I managed to control it way better with the arrival of dehumidifier but still can not manage to bring it to lower 50%s.
- VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.55 kPa, averaging at 1,25 kPa.
- Tent temperature fluctuated around 23 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 26.3. Higher than last week…
- Humidity did not fluctuate as it used to but still way higher than ideal range, averaging at 63.4.
- This week, Medium Ph got back to normal of 6.3. I am now giving standard 6.4 Ph Water.
- Both plants keep frosting day on day.
- Stickiness and smell keep getting stronger.
- So far, both seem to like their environment despite the high humidity and temperature.
- Humidity was low beginning of the week and the temperature was quite high. But, I still managed to hit the ideal values. Towards the end of the week, the average humidity in my city was at the high 70s which reflected into the tent.
- VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.65 kPa, averaging at 1,42 kPa.
- Tent temperature fluctuated around 24 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.5.
- Humidity did not fluctuate as it used to beginning of the week but it spiked crazy towards the end, averaging at 56.4 which is much better than the last week.
- I am now giving standard 6.4 Ph Water.
- Frosting slowed down but the flowers are getting bigger.
- Stickiness and smell keep getting stronger.
- VPD fluctuated this week between 1,0 and 1.50 kPa, averaging at 1,35 kPa.
- Tent temperature fluctuated around 24 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 25.9. Slightly higher than last week.
- Humidity spiked a lot beginning of the week and stabilized towards the end, averaging at 59.6 which is worse than the last week.
- I am still giving standard 6.4 Ph Water.
- Frosting slowed down but the flowers keep getting bigger. Trichomes are filling up. Some amber ones appear (%5). I am guessing we have one more week for harvest.
- Stickiness and smell are difficult to describe. Just beautiful…
- VPD was again fluctuating between 1,1 and 1.50 kPa, averaging at 1,43 kPa.
- Tent temperature fluctuated around 24 at night and 28 Celsius at day time, averaging at 26.4. Slightly higher than last week.
- Humidity was more stabilized towards, averaging at 58.3.
- Harvested this week once 10% Amber was reached.
