CityGrowZA Trying bad seed for the first time. Straight potting soil for the beginning with a handful of worm castings. I put them in the shade because of temperature concerns.

CityGrowZA Some stems fell over due to what I can only think of as seedling blight. I propped some of them up with more soil. I'll be more careful with the next batch and use hydrogen peroxide. Odly the top leaves look good. Time will tell how many of these will survive. Note to self: Plain soil in a cup prob not the best grow medium. Cups are still HEAVY despite not watering them for a week..

CityGrowZA Weirdest thing, despite some of the seedlings dying, either due to heat or dampening off is that they are catching up to the Big Kush plants. One thing that I can't figure out is why some of them have their leaves twisting sideways. Minimal nutes where added this sunday so we'll see where it goes from here.

CityGrowZA Just before the pic was taken, these guys were transplanted into the predominantly cocoa media, but the growth from three of them was pretty surprising as they have leaves bigger than their neighbors who are much older than them. Sadly some of the other tight fan leaf ones you see in the pics are not doing great for whatever reason. Bad genes is all I can put it down to with bag seed.

CityGrowZA Yes. Those are the same plants. Can't believe it.
