Total noob lol. Was thinking they’d be bigger by now. Any thoughts? Humidity is low thanks to the great white north. NOTHING gets it up over 35%. Even installed a whole house humidifier and no noticeable effect. Bottom line is they’re growing so I guess we’ll keep it going!

Once germinated, what do you hydro / DWC guys do before putting into the buckets?

You can put them in the buckets but . The thing you wanna keep in mind is the root system . With that being said the first question you should ask yourself is will your roots reach the water in the bucket . If not you might wanna water them by hand until they do . You can speed up the root growth with many variety's of nutrient line ups . Using products like this will do 2 things , increase the nutrient uptake as well as promote mega root growth ! But for now i highly recommend hand feeding your baby if your going to put her in the bucket until she gets a kick ass root mass going . I hope this information is useful in your quest to understanding when you can use your buckets ! -Happy Growing!

Bit of a difficult start to these girls seeing as this is my first grow and all, but they’re still growing and overall looking pretty healthy, good colour, springy, but I’m suspecting nute deficiency maybe but I’ve upped the food so we’ll see how we do! Now, when to start topping 🤔... Puff, puff, pass ✌️

Lots of good growth on plant 1. Topped both hoping it’s had a good effect...time will tell. Trying a scrog too. I’ve always been concerned about plant 2, still growing though so kinda using it as an experiment/ learning plant. THANKS All for the advice! Update end of week 3 - great growth this week and no signs of any issues, i *might* be doing ok I think. Now...where me vape?

I’m doing DWC buckets. I’m 5 weeks into veg and need to top up the water occasionally. Should I be pumping the old water out every so often and putting new solution in, or do you guys just keep topping with ph’d nute water? If you do swap out the water, what’s your procedure?

Hey there @CrazyDaver nice question! With individual DWC 5 gallon reservoirs like myself and you use you absolutely do want to be topping off the water daily as to ensure the proper Nutrient to water ratio, however you do not want to keep the same nutrients in the reservoirs for longer than a week. A completely reservoir swap every 7 days is highly recommended and usually comes with the change in nutrient schedule as well. If you have any more questions feel free to ask them! 😎

I am literally AGOG at the growth on plant 2 this week. Amazing foliage growth and then BOOM - into flower. Changed out the water, flushed with ph adjusted water for 1 night and neearly killed them 😬 but they came back once I added new nutes. Really happy it seems to be working 👍

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. They’re doing great, plant 2 on the right was the runt and has become a frickin stallion!! Plant 1 seems stunted but might get a few grams off it. Plant 2 is drinking about 2 gallons every 3-4 days lol I can hardly keep up! Did some defoliation last night and hope this will help the plants energy head up to the bud sites. Fingers crossed, I feel like they’re doing ok! Smelling nice, not too strong either. Glad I setup a good ventilation system though...! I feel like I’m closer to week 7 in terms of growth, but I planted these on oct 31st and this is where they’re at. The tent is in my basement and air temp and humidity is good but I think the water might be too cold which could be slowing growth down by a few weeks. I expect to harvest around end of February based on current growth rate. We’ll see, and might have to invest in a water heater...but I try to avoid any heating elements if I can, I hate fire risk. Peace ✌️
