10/10/25 (FD 78): Today I took down the big girl! She has a lot of purple colas, i am really curious how they look like after drying and trimming. 😍
I had to hang 4 shoots separately since my drying tent is only 60 x 60 cm and the plant was just too big 😅 But the rest I hung up in 1 piece without any wet trim, not even fan leaves. I want the plant to dry as slow as possible, because I will be on holiday for the next 16 days...
Since I don't have a second tent for drying and the other plant looks ~1 week behind in development I will let it ripen for another 2 weeks until late October! I really hope I don't encounter any mold, and will harvest her immediately when we come back from vacation!
11/10/24 (FD 79): Today I gave the remaining plant a fresh shave and took away foliage to increase airflow and prevent mold, so I hope. I feel kinda blessed tbh, weather forecast is really positive for the next 2 weeks, that's really unorthodox so late in October! Anyway I have her a last feeding, and leave her to be for the next 2 weeks! She will be given some water in between but I hope the does not need so much at this moment!
@JamesBarre, I made the decision to harvest one plant pre and one plant post holiday, since I am somewhat nervous that the rainy weather right now will induce bud rot! Also when I do it like this I can have a nice comparison to base future decisions on! 😁
Une recolte fin octobre serais plus réaliste, le cannabis est une plante resiliente 🌱👍 c'est une variété indica donc les températures plus froide ne seront pas un problème pour elle normalement 😅
@JamesBarre, Wow, that's pretty late...I'm also growing this specific strain because it was advertised to be fast flowering with ~50 days indoors. I'm really worried about mold as my plants are not protected from rain and thus would like to harvest as early as possible!
