Put some Tantanka Pure CBD into easyplugs and they came out like gangbusters.
Plan is to put them outside once the are big enough.
Let's see how this journey plays out!
01/05/24 (Day 7): Weed is (semi) legal since 1 month now! *Yay*
02/05/24 (Day 8): Growth feels kinda slow...starting to think my humidity is too high at 80 - 90 % day & 60 -70 % night. Idk maybe I'm just too impatient.
03/05/24 (Day 9): It really feels like growth is stagnating at this point. So I turned on the exhaust fan to bring down humidity to 50 - 60 %.
04/05/24 (Day 10): Turnt up the ts1000 to 50% (75W) at 30cm in order to speed em up. I hope the plants are getting into their stride now!
05/05/24 (Day 11): Everyone is still happy, extra light was the right choice I think!
06/05/24 (Day 12): Noticed some deformation on the leaves of 2 of my girls, wondering if this is due to the high humidity in their early days!
07/05/24 (Day 13): Having trouble keeping the humidity constant, when exhaust is on its too low (~45 %) and when off too high (~ 80 %). Now it's switching in 15min intervals, not too happy with this solution though...
08/05/24 (Day 14): Exhaust on 15min off/on switch is working finde for the moment, no more changes for now!
09/05/24 (Day 15): First time watering with SF nematodes.
10/05/24 (Day 16): first roots show up at the drainage holes thinking about transplanting in the next few days.
11/05/24 (Day 17): no water!
12/05/24 (Day 18): tomorrow transplant and then topping in the beginning of 3rd week maybe 🤔
13/05/24 (Day 19): Girls got some new shoes and I nice shower! 3.5 L should get them into their final shape before going outside! 👍🏼
14/05/24 (Day 20): First time it smelled like sweet Mary Jane when opening the tent!
15/05/24 (Day 21): Girls received their first hair cut today! Topped above the 4th / 5th node depending on their growth stage.
16/05/24 (Day 22): watering
17/05/24 (Day 23): they really start to gain some height now after they were laying low for the first two weeks!
20/05/24 (Day 26): They are really picking up some speed regarding their growth, there are already roots popping out of the drainage holes! Soon they will have to move outside into 30L pots!
21/05/24 (Day 27): business as usual
22/05/24 (Day 28): Last week of indoor for these girls and I decreased the light by 1 hour while increasing intensity to make the transition to the outside world less abrupt. Also watering in the evening.
27/05/24 (Day 33): Transfer onto the window frame (inside)
28/08/24 (Day 30): Put them in the outside (cloudy day) to harden them up for the outside once they are in their final pots. Tomorrow it's transfer to ~30 L per plant!
29/05/24 (Day 35): Originally I wanted to put them on some acre but this is no longer an option so they are coming in ~ 30L rectangle pot on the window bench :) One is going to the balcony of my friends flat!
02/06/24 (Day 39): They are growing nicely although summer is a long time coming and weather is pretty much shit. Thinking about training them in order to grow further away from the window so the plants can expand a bit more!
06/06/24 (Day 49): The weather in Germany didn't respond good to the legalization and growth is relatively slow I think. Curious when one of the neighbours will make a comment about the (very clearly visible) plants :).
20/06/24 (Day 63): Nothing much to report, they keep on growing slowly but steady. Next week weather should get more sunny so they should pick up some speed!
28/06/24 (Day 71): Plant got a little to much sun and a bit to little water but still seems to be be kinda fine. Fed 1.5 ml/l of some no brand warehouse N fertilizer. Also my landlord asked how I got those plants so big. ^^
04/07/24 (Day 77): First plant has overgrown the railing, *yay*. Also days are getting shorter again from last week on, so I'm curious when they will be switching to flower...maybe end of the month? 👉👈
- Feeding ~2ml/l noname nitrogen fertilizer
11/07/24 (Day 84): Weather is finally kind of sunny and they are growing bigger and bigger, I'm really curious about their final size!
14/07/24 (Day 87): Girl #3 was dealing with a little bit of an nitrogen deficit but will recover soon I hope! From now on I will feed with biobizz grow & bloom
16/07/24 (Day 89): gave one lady a little haircut in hope that the small shoots will develop faster and bigger!
19/07/24 (Day 92): Plants developed their first flowering signes and are starting to stretch, so I started also feeding bio bloom! I opened up the canopy a bit further so they can absorb more total light and gave a better ventilation later on! Will be gone over the weekend and curious how much they will stretch in the next couple of days!
25/07/24 (FD 2): It's finally time to flower! The first pistils are clearly visible and I am hoping to see some major growth in the next week's! Right now the big lady is measuring 80cm and I this 1m should be easily done by the next two weeks! They are still showing some signs of nitrogen deficiency, so I have to increase feeding from now on!
02/08/24 (FD 10): I really enjoy seeing them getting bigger and bigger. They are having a pace of ~2cm/day which is a noticeable difference especially when returning from a weekend trip!
There are no complications what so ever at the moment, I just have to get used to the smell inside my bedroom since they are beginning to produce some terpenes!
08/08/24 (FD 15): Everything is business as usual, growth is slowing down a bit but that's okay since they are really bushy! I guess they will reach about 1m before stagnation! Right now I just hope for a dry September so I can harvest them as late as possible!
15/08/24 (FD 22): Started to give my girls some more bio bloom to boost Phosphate & flower development, for now they seem to handle the extra nutes with no problem what so ever!
Also the stretch seems to be done and they reached 1m in height. I wonder how tall they would have gotten if I wouldn't have topped them in week 3?
There is one really weird mutation in the big girls which results in a flat stem with a bend and stunted top...I am really curious to see flower development on this one!
I hope they will reach their maturity in 6 weeks so I can harvest before October when it will get humid & rainy!
Stay tuned
22/08/24 (FD 29): Seems like they are not finished growing taller yet! Even though I would prefer if they could start budding up more quickly as summer is almost over and we are getting into the rainy area over here in Germany...anyway I bend the stems once more down to spread out the canopy of the plants even more and Mike the most of the sunlight.
Also Plants started to drink more and I need to give the 3L each day, always with ~3ml biobizz & ~1ml biogrow. Seems working nice, maybe slight signs of overfeeding...
03/09/24 (FD 41): Was gone for vacation so I couldn't post for some time but they survived just fine under my girlfriends supervision and really start to form flowers now! I really hope I can harvest at the end of September before it gets to humid!
07/09/24 (FD 45): Another update after a few days so I can cover every week. Nothing new happened, I'm still feeding biobizz 100% of the feeding chart with every watering (so basically everyday 3L) and they are showing no sign of overfeeding. Really happy with my window set up so far!
12/09/24 (FD 50): Plants are starting to smell more but since temperature dropped since a few days we are keeping the window shut anyways. Also it rained a lot the past 3 days so I couldn't feed them but they don't show any real signs of deficiency which is really nice. I hope I can harvest in 2-3 weeks, but it seems unrealistic tbh
19/09/24 (FD 57): Buds are thickening up nicely, and the weather was really warming up for another week or so! But I can also observe that the ladies are drinking less now!
26/09/24 (FD 64): According to breeder the plants should already be done by now, but I guess they were giving the dates for indoor and were veeery optimistic! Anyway, Plant #2 is budding up really good and developed some really nice big colas! The other girl is a bit on the slower side but also looks good. I also had this phenomen on my indoor grow, back then the smaller buds ended up much denser and overall nicer! This time I don't really care though since my plan is to make extracts from most of the harvest but it's still interesting to see.
Especially because they were performing very similar until now!
Lighting in the pics is bad today, but I was busy the whole day and want to keep up my 7 day post schedule...
In exactly 15 days I will go on holidays for 2 weeks, I either have to find somebody to water them or the harvest will be in 2 weeks already, probably a bit early though.
I'm really curious for the taste, they are developing a very intense unique smell right now! Hard to describe, I have definitely never had this before.
03/10/24 (FD 71): Another update with pics taken at night time...I hope next week I can make some nicer pics!
Unfortunately I had to cut off the mutant Bud since it started to rot...kinda expected that but still sad, I would have really liked to see it ripen until the end!
Other than that the plants are taking the cold (up to 2 °C at night) and rainy days pretty well at the moment, but I'm getting a little bit nervous since it's my first time and I don't want to risk the harvest.
Because of this I made the decision to harvest one plant before my holidays next week and the other one after in 3 weeks, and call it an experiment ;)
04/10/24: Because of really cold nights the past 2 days the plant began to purple a bit! Really nice to see!
07/10/24 (FD 75): Checked Trichomes on a sugarleaf of the top Cola and there is a lot cloudy but not a lot of amber, harvest I 3 days will be a bit early but should be ok!
10/10/25 (FD 78): Today I took down the big girl! She has a lot of purple colas, i am really curious how they look like after drying and trimming. 😍
I had to hang 4 shoots separately since my drying tent is only 60 x 60 cm and the plant was just too big 😅 But the rest I hung up in 1 piece without any wet trim, not even fan leaves. I want the plant to dry as slow as possible, because I will be on holiday for the next 16 days...
Since I don't have a second tent for drying and the other plant looks ~1 week behind in development I will let it ripen for another 2 weeks until late October! I really hope I don't encounter any mold, and will harvest her immediately when we come back from vacation!
11/10/24 (FD 79): Today I gave the remaining plant a fresh shave and took away foliage to increase airflow and prevent mold, so I hope. I feel kinda blessed tbh, weather forecast is really positive for the next 2 weeks, that's really unorthodox so late in October! Anyway I have her a last feeding, and leave her to be for the next 2 weeks! She will be given some water in between but I hope the does not need so much at this moment!
28/10/24 (FD): Came back from my holiday to a plant which had some mold on multiple bud sites...was kinda expecting this but still sad to see this :/
Anyway I hung up the rest of the plant for drying and hope that I cought all the moldy bits and there is no further mold during the drying process!
28/10/24: Came back from my holiday to a nicely dry plant! Its giving some nice sweet as well as earthy smells.
The buds are not too dense to be honest and also I could see some mold on some buds which I sorted out!
