Cannagrower2000 Seeds were left in a wet paper towel for a total of 48 hours. After 48 hours, the root had already emerged from the seed. With the root facing forward, the seed was then directly placed into the pre-fertilized soil. Another 24 hours later, the stem of the seedling was already visible. The plant serves as a kind of "experiment" on the success of a complete outdoor grow without artificial lighting and additional fertilization.

Cannagrower2000 Hatched on 04.05.2024 The plant stays on the terrace day and night, but is moved throughout the day depending on the position of the sun. No artificial lighting. The weather this week was very sunny with up to 14 hours of sunshine, and the temperature dropped to about 10°C at night. By the end of the week, small red bugs appeared in the soil and at the edges of the pots for the first time. They were mostly eliminated using a spray bottle and lemon juice. Now, all pots and leaves are checked daily for infestations.

Cannagrower2000 For 6 out of 7 days, there was basically sunlight all day long. With rain forecasted for the night, the plants were brought inside. The plants were fertilized for the first time with organic universal fertilizer from "Grüner Jan" (about 3 liters of diluted mixture per pot). A total of 2 waterings this week. The insect problem from last week has been resolved; spraying with lemon water drove away the pests.

Cannagrower2000 At the beginning of the week, the next pest problem started. It began with a "garden stranger" tomato plant, and various mites settled on all the cannabis plants. Some are dark green to black, while others are whitish. "Egg nests" were visible all over the leaves. Due to a lack of equipment, everything was initially sprayed with a mixture of dish soap, sunflower oil, and water, and later in the week with neem oil. Additionally, bags with predatory mites were hung on all the plants. Mite infestation has significantly decreased, but the lower leaves have suffered "damage" (curled up, burns).

Cannagrower2000 This week the weather was very bad. It rained every day, and there were hardly any hours of sunshine. The plants spent most of the week under the terrace roof. The mites from last week are now well "under control," but a few groups have still been spotted, which I removed using water from a spray bottle and by hand. The new plague this week is slugs. All the plants have been eaten in several places, and ultimately none of the home remedies helped except for the beer trap and raising the plants overnight. I manually removed some slugs.
