Hey, because growing is now legal in germany, im happy to join the growing community. This is my first growth and i started with an Amnesia Haze Automatic from Royal Queen Seeds. For germination i used the water glas technique. I had some problem when i planted it. I was happy to see the plant growing out the first medium, but i had to notice that it wasnt the first leaf coming out, but the roots. OOOF. Had to pot it in again and was afraid i already f'ed up. :D
Glad it recovered instantly.
For watering i used filtered tab water with a spray bottle and only watered by feeling.
I used normal growth earth.
The first few weeks im using a 14 watt red/blue LED indoor and im planning to grow it outdoor after the "Eisheilige". Its the time in may, where its likely to freeze again and i wont risk my plant to die.
On day 16 i paniced, because i watered too much and transplanted the plant early. I thought the new medium will soak up the water, which it did.
I did let it dry for 2 days and bought some fertilizer, which i used on day 17 for the first time.
Fortunately the plant didnt get a shock. I read online that many people discourage transplanting autoflower and start in the end medium. I guess im pretty lucky. I also changed the light cycle from 24/7 to around 16/8.
Day 21: Pistils are showing and it starts to smell. Starting LST today or tomorrow.
Day 22: Plant recovered from the LST
Day 23: Shoots start to grow from everywhere
Day 24: Preflower starts. Expecting huge growth
Hey this is my first plant. Went all good till now. Not the growth i had wished for, but im happy.
Day 21 now i see pistils clearly. Isnt it a bit early for pistils, because the plant is relatively small.
How should i proceed? LST? Topping an option or is it too late?
Since it’s an Autoflower you will see pistols around this time. The plant is showing sex. Now it should start developing bud soon.
Autoflowers generally double or even triple in size when they flower. So you should expect a massive growth phase once it start to flower.
It is too late to top. But you can pull the plant down using wire or rope to expose the lower branches to more sunlight. If done correctly you can achieve many huge colas from your branches instead of just a few if you leave it untouched.
