This week i start to see what the epsom salts do.
The new growth isn't weak anymore so thats a big difference allready, and the colours of the leaves are waaaaay more green, and not yellow, burned&crispy.
so to use the epsom salt, is the best advice i got. it seems like my plants get healthier.
So a big thanks to @Andrius & @Eauderay for that!
i received my ph testpen but havent got the free time to try it yet.
Switched to 12/12 and they are preparing for blooming now.
@Andrius, Yeah that small ZK was in the baddest condition from all.. but she is also recovering, and is developing new growth!
i'm very thankfull for the advice, thanks a lot!!
Hi there, I noticed that your plant is missing Nitrogen as well as deficiency of Mag. Usually the lightening color on the leaves tells you that it is missing N, browining/yelowing on the sides are signs of Mg deficiensy, the sides become crispy. You can try adding extra N to see if the leaves are getting back the color, and add epsom salts to your feeding solution every time to give her Magnesium. I add 1 soup spoon of epsom with every feeding, did not have mg deficiency ever since i started doing that, In the begining give plants more than that so she can start recovering. There is also a slight chance the ph is messed up and got nutes locked. Good luck with your ladies, keep them healthy and happy new years!
@Andrius, i have to give it a bit more time, but on the plant that looks most bad i start to see green new growth. so if that continues, it works!
Also, my PH meter came in the mailbox today!
Nice, how does it look? Tho keep in mind that magnesium problems are not that much recoverable, and it might not make your damaged leaves to look good, but it will stop it and all new branches will show whether its working or not
Hi, How far are LEDs from top of plants? Seems they are bleaching her top leaves, try to raise them.
Also, switch to a bigger pot because soil lost its ability to maintain ph, add a handful of Epsom salt and seaweed, patience, they will recover! Good luck!
@Eauderay, most times lightmix, but this round also has a lightmix/cocos substrate and perlite.
i also think my PH is quite off, but i need to buy an ph pen to test that.
i have a mars 300, 2 x autocobs 3500K, and a spectrabox that works half. I dont have FL lights
@J_D13, which soil are you using? Thinking soil pH might not be ideal...do you have fluorescent lights? Might be better if you start plants under them switching to LEDs only when they are bigger.
@Eauderay,
Thanks for the advice, Yesterday i repotted all the girls, in to 5gal fabricpots!
I'm going to read up on the epsom salt.
And tomorrow i will measure at what hight the leds are hanging, and get back to you to let you know.
i appreciate the input!😊
Dude, your plants are showing huge progress! except zk plant, she needs more nitrogen, some plants are nitrogen whores and need way more than other plants. But other than that, it looks great now, good job!
@Andrius, Yeah that small ZK was in the baddest condition from all.. but she is also recovering, and is developing new growth!
i'm very thankfull for the advice, thanks a lot!!
Yo, for ph down you can buy some lime or lemon, and use the juice with your mixture, its easy to get and works the same untill you get the ph down solution. Plants are looking better, keep up the good work mate!
