Weird planting right into 3 gallon pots. Made my own soil with black gold from gramps farm, worm castings, perlite, azolomite, lime, blood meal, and bone meal.
Plants are looking good, didn’t take many photos. Started spraying with foliar feed nothing but root rysomes and tiny bit of humic acid in soil watering. Not drenching soil, just watering 1/2 gallon per 1.5 weeks. They are not that thirsty, it’s cold out.
They moved into old trusty, looking nice and happy. I used a slug repellent last year and it molded on the dirt (outside of old trusty) where I sprinkled it. This year I used Morton’s table salt around outside of drain pan. Really worried about finish size, starting with the veg feed scaled back to 1/4 dose. I’m using 8 year old general hydroponics floralisious for spray feeding, I spray as often as possible. Up to 4 times daily 😎 even in direct sunlight, the sun is weak in April.
Got scared a threw a light on them…. Too many horror stories, with mini plants. Still feeding and spraying, the plants haven’t filled the pots with roots yet. So they aren’t eating much, maybe 1/2 gallon a week. Just watering by pot weight right now
Not much sunshine, thank goodness I had a t-5 panel. The temp in old trusty is pretty consistent at 70. They are growing great, spraying when dry and watering when pots are lite.
Starting to take off!!!! The fear of mini plants has gone! Feeding 1/4 scale general hydro products, 6.2 on water ph and 6.8 on soil so far. First pistils but far from flowering… growing vigorously!! Thinking I might need to raise old trusty up about 2’ at this rate!!! :) I’m liking autos so far, really cool leaf mutations. I will post when we get further into bud, just hoping they get frosty…. That’s my next concern, but with proper nutes and proper ph I’m sure they will frost up 😎
Plants are up taking nutrients really well now, finally able to stick to a more frequent feeding cycle. Watering twice a week, the temp in old trusty is getting into the 80s maybe peaking low 90s. I spray feed all the time, 3-4 times daily. Flowering is starting to happen, but still showing a lot of growReally happy with my MSNL order!!! They are banger beans for sure!
Flowering has started!!! They are starting to get smelly, and I am seeing early tricrome development 😎 still veg feeding 1/4 scale always using humic acid and plant booster. 5.9-6.4 ph water and 6.8 ph soil. It has been easy keeping good soil ph with such lite nutrients. Still spray feeding as much as possible, next week starts the flower/ bloom feed :) I love this phase!!! So excited to see how the autos fill out, and frost up. Next week should have some up close bud development photos. Oh yea old trusty had to get legs, these autos are massive! Can’t wait!!
Looking and smelling great, still spray feeding when it’s warm out just added floramicro to the floralicous plus mix. Also root feeding 1/4 scale general hydroponic regiment. I can see the trichomes forming all over, as far as I can tell they are gunna do what all the photos I have grown have done…. Get frosty! I have Humboldts secret sweet and sticky coming :) I guess it’s worth giving a shot. I have never heard of feeding plants carbs. These ladies are just ripping into flower and are drinking a gallon every 1-2 days, weather dependent. I haven’t been spraying with pure water every other day like I have done in the past. I guess the last thing that I’m “worried” about is bud size. I imagine they are gunna swell up just fine!!!! Only time will tell.
So it’s raining, kinda bummed. I hate the rain when the girls are getting buddy. The plants got sprayed all week with floralicious plus, and sweet and sticky. Watered two times with 1/4 strength general hydroponics regiment and sweet and sticky. I have not seen any negative effects from the addition of sweet and sticky. Only time will tell, so far the GDP auto and the norther lights auto are blowing doors on the runtz auto and kush berry moon rocks auto. Epic plant structure and smell with the Northern lights auto. The GDP auto is getting dense! And stinky!! Runtz auto is coming out in third so far with great smell and nice little buddy’s!! And close behind is kush berry moon rocks auto, tight dense little buds with some purple tones and weak smell so far
Well I was gone two days…. Ladies didn’t get opened up like normal! Heat stress 5000. That weird new growth, stringy and larfy:/ but I found nanners on the moon rocks auto and Runtz auto…. Kinda a throw away, unless I throw a window shaker in old trusty temps are going to be hard to control. Honestly I thought I would have harvested by now. I did read the fine print about the estimated time being based on perfect conditions, I lack those right now. I am a Refrigeration tech, I’m going to make something work. I will check in next week.
Ladies are looking good, I’m liking not having to pull tarps to have flower this early…. But the quality isn’t quite there. My dad is flowering gdp auto and runts auto indoors. They are a lot smaller but a lot prettier. I’m sure my temps have been the root of all my problems. Wishing the buds would fill out, they are getting runny and larfy. Well I have a few more seeds for next year but I’m thinking autos are not for me. I have started to see some botryis and have been cutting it out. Mainly seeing mold on the two hermies, but also seen some aphids on one of the hermies I got mad and cut it down! Then I poured gas on the infested bud and burned it…. Growing is not for the faint hearted;)
I didn’t take any photos of this strain once it went Hermie, but here’s a video of all the jars, I also have a storage tote of untrimmed buds for making rso :)
