Gisbert After the roots of the lady grew out of the propagation tray, she moved into soil. Grow Organic from Compo variety Light Mix. In addition to the light from a south-facing window, she initially received light from a 7W plant lamp. Towards the end of the week, a larger 50W LED lamp arrived.

Gisbert The lady moved into the greenhouse at the beginning of May with plenty of sunshine. The 50W LED grow light came along to provide 18 hours of light a day. Additionally, a mini fan is running. Towards the end of the week, I installed a hygrometer/thermometer combo from Switchbot.

Gisbert She got a touch of fertilizer, Compo Organic Grow Phase I. Additionally, I set up a 10 L fermentation container with mead (honey wine) and placed it in the greenhouse.

Gisbert Partially really good weather, but partly the ladies mainly have to rely on the additional lighting. On day 32, I used Compo Organic Grow Phase I again. After that, I probably discovered my first pre-flower.
Gisbert I'm very satisfied, our plants have now grown so much that they need to be pulled down a level in the greenhouse. The smell gets more intense every day. The weather remains mixed to bad, I'm not sure if the 50W supplemental light really makes a difference with 6 plants... On day 40, I gave them fertilizer again, this time a whole liter. On day 41, I measured their height again, they stretched over 20cm in five days😊 I removed two large fan leaves because they block light from the (future) buds.

Gisbert At the beginning of the new week, I took advantage of a short break in the rain to have a little photo session with our ladies on the terrace. The lady is in flowering, and the anticipation is slowly building up 😎 Unfortunately, the weather is still poor, not many hours of sunshine, snails everywhere, and the humidity in the greenhouse is too high...

Gisbert I'm really very satisfied with my Blueberry Zkittelz. She stretched 20 cm in a week and is developing beautiful buds😍 On day 51, my ladies had some free time since I rearranged my greenhouse a bit. I was out and about over the weekend, so there are no pictures from that.

Gisbert There hasn't been much growth in size. However, the buds are developing beautifully and the smell is a dream, super intense like lime.

Gisbert I'm quite satisfied with the development; they've only grown a few cm, but the buds are looking pretty good. I'm starting to get a bit impatient and am looking forward to the harvest. The weather remains changeable to bad! The weather is slowly improving. Unfortunately, I have a massive infestation of fungus gnats, and nematodes are on the way. Summer has returned to Germany, and that makes not just me happy but also the ladies. 😎

Gisbert I'm really excited about the BZ, great smell, the leaves are turning yellow very slowly and the buds are sparkling in the sunshine. According to the manufacturer, the lady still needs about two weeks. I'm curious if I can harvest before my vacation. On day 73, I noticed some amber trichomes in the head bud. Time for the harvest?

Gisbert The last week of growth has begun for the lady, and the sun has disappeared again for 2 days. Next Wednesday, she will go into the dark for 2 days before being harvested. After that, I'll let her dry upside down for 2 weeks. Right now, she’s only getting water. I also removed a few of the remaining fan leaves again. It’s day 80, and harvest time is getting closer. I tried to remove all the leaves that don’t carry trichomes. This week, it was just water.
Gisbert Today was time for the harvest, after a rough trim there were just under 200g wet on the scale. I'm looking forward to the final result after my vacation. I will report back and provide the dry result once the drying is complete.
@Dennis_Bong, Hi Dennis, there are two small windows on the right and left that are always open, plus there's a small fan at one of the windows that runs with the timer for the supplemental lighting. Still, the humidity levels are a nightmare. I'll be happy to post a screenshot of that shortly. Now and then, especially when the sun is blazing, I also leave the greenhouse door open.
Wow, they’re growing like weeds for you! In just about 1.5 months, you can celebrate Thanksgiving. I hope the humidity doesn’t spike again next week. That could be a killer during the flowering phase.
@Marmelade, Yeah thanks, I'm really satisfied. For my first time, it seems like I've done a lot right. The 50W additional light really seems to make a difference. I need to see how I handle the humidity. It's very fluctuating in the greenhouse with open windows. Around noon, it's only about 35%, but in the early morning, it reaches a maximum of about 90%.
That looks good; it should work out before the vacation. I still have four weeks, so I can harvest quite a bit. I'm already working on an irrigation solution for the photos.
@Sejanus21, I have 2.5 weeks left before I head to Spain. Before that, I'm definitely going to harvest the Blueberry Zkittlez. For the plants that still need time, I got Blumat for watering and hooked it up to my 200L rain barrel. I'm still not sure about the nutrients, but I'm considering switching to Green House Feeding, although I find it quite expensive. Alternatively, I could fertilize one last time on the day of departure and then just give them water for two weeks...
@Sejanus21, I still have a good two weeks until I go to Spain, let's see how it goes until then. For the other ladies, I got a Blumat watering system and connected it to my 200L rain barrel. In terms of nutrients, I'm considering switching to Greenhouse Feeding. You put slow-release fertilizer in the soil and then they just need water...
@Gisbert, I'm probably going to do exactly that with the greenhouse too. I ordered a Gardena irrigation system and I'm trying to use our water connection in the garden through a splitter, but it's complicated. Maybe I'll just get an Auto-Pot tank with 100l for the greenhouse. Which Blumat system do you have?
You said it: Lots of rain, lots of snails, it's a tough battle. Luckily, I have a greenhouse at all, and the high humidity isn't such a big problem during the growth phase.
@Stony_German, Thank you very much, I'm really satisfied with this one. 😊
But I'm still not really sure about the strain. I had a big pack, gave some away, and grew three myself. My brother's first ones didn't germinate, and others turned out really stunted. I personally set up two at the same time, I just harvested one here, it's great, but I stopped the grow on the other one, it barely had any leaves and the ones it had were strangely narrow. One is still going and is about 2.5 weeks behind. It seems okay, but not as awesome as the one I harvested here. Especially not in terms of smell, that one is really amazing.
@Sejanus21, I see it that way too, but the impatience is still strong and I still have a few autoflower seeds that I want to try out 😅 Now it's time to stay cool 😎
@real_dev, I've been brewing this recipe for almost 30 years, 1kg of cloudy apple juice, 3kg of honey, 6kg of water mixed with dry yeast in the fermentation vessel. Once fermentation is complete, siphon off the yeast and possibly clarify. You end up with a wonderfully bitter mead. Not as sweet as the stuff you can buy...
Hey Gisbert✌️
Your Blueberry Zkittlez looks absolutely phenomenal. I'm on day 55 today and mine doesn't look anywhere near as great as yours. I've got it under a 100w LED panel and it's growing very compact. Well, let's see, maybe the stretch will still come🤷🏻♂️ Have you tried your buds yet and can you say something about them? I'm really curious. Cheers ✌️
