RasendeRollo92 The first week of my first autoflowers... The second grow overall — let's see how it goes. So far, it seems to be going well, and the Quick One truly lives up to its name!

RasendeRollo92 Week two, and I'm really amazed at how fast the plant is growing! Big shoutout to the RQS team at this point! Update 1.0 It's continuously growing, even if it's kind of spreading out. Is that normal? What do you think? Update 2.0 This little gem is also showing good growth in width! The next node is already 3-leafed; the next node is also visible — it's moving forward! And here we are at the last day of week two. The Quick One seems a bit more compact than the other plant, but that probably has to do with the genetics. She also had a bit of Compo Grow for breakfast, let's see how she handles it. Overall, I think it's been a good week, even if the progress seems small from day to day. What’s your opinion?

RasendeRollo92 The third week since germination has started here as well. The week began with a trip to the balcony, and at night we first swing back to the warmth… Let’s see how it handles it… the left “leaf” seems to be drooping a bit 🤔… we’ll see how it develops 🤷🏼 Update 1.0 The plants have been outside from morning to evening for 3 days now. It’s growing slowly. The only really noticeable thing is that the stem feels like it has tripled in thickness… the wind seems to be doing it good. Update 2.0 LST seems to have been just the right thing! The little one has seemingly developed more leaf pairs overnight and looks vibrant! Let’s see how it continues 👍 Update 3.0 The last day of the third week. Unfortunately, my original plan to move the little one outside didn’t work out, as the weather didn’t cooperate. Still, I think the windowsill result is looking good. Especially the stem has gained a lot of mass after the LST. I think next week the foliage should become noticeably denser.

RasendeRollo92 The fourth week has also begun here. Unfortunately, this lady has to live with the interim solution on the windowsill... I hope she can go outside starting Saturday. I can't really assess the growth, as some look worse while others look better. What do you think about the current state? Update 1.0 She is growing and thriving splendidly. Today is the last rain shower for the next 1.5 weeks... after that, she can finally go out into freedom ☀️🍾 So far, there are no signs of flowers or anything similar. She seems to be giving us the time we need to compensate for the bad weather. Update 2.0 For this lady, I decided to remove one of the large sun sails to ensure better light access for the lower new shoots. In general, she is giving me more time than the Strawberry Haze. Update 3.0 After the ladies finally got to go outside, they seem to be doing splendidly! I find it very clear that they missed a bit of light on the windowsill during the first weeks (which wasn't possible because it was raining). I'm definitely looking forward to next week with lots of sunshine and a good start to week 5. Since there are still no signs of flowers visible on this lady, she remains in the veg phase for me :)

RasendeRollo92 Hello everyone & welcome to week 5. Even though I thought yesterday that this lady had another week of growth phase, I noticed the first pre-flower last night... so we are officially in the flowering phase. I think the balcony is doing her good, there's not much more to say at the moment. Update 1.0 The first flower sites are becoming more and more pronounced on this lady. She's also gaining good mass. However, I can't report any "stretching" yet. Update 2.0 She's actually starting to do quite well. Unfortunately, the weather is going to slow us down significantly next week, as temperatures will stay below 20 degrees the entire week. Update 3.0 Here too, the first week of flowering is coming to an end... and they are clearly visible! Despite the very mild 16 degrees outside, she has shown good growth. However, much better weather is forecasted for the coming week!

RasendeRollo92 Welcome to week 6 - flowering week 2 The little one is doing great, despite the really awful weather (16 degrees!)... it should get significantly warmer again by the weekend. Currently, she's moving back and forth from indoors to outdoors. Seems to be handling it well. The lady is showing more and more buds, but a "stretching" is still eagerly awaited. She has also been pre-fed with flowering fertilizer from Compo. Update 1.0 The weather is a bit better again. The ladies are now staying outside even at night. The flowers are slowly becoming more pronounced, and they are starting to smell 💪 Update 2.0 The last day of the week. She is growing and thriving. The flowers are clearly visible, but so far there aren't too many.

RasendeRollo92 Week 7 - Flowering Week 3 The lady has been outside 24/7 now! I'm quite satisfied with the growth, just wish she would show me a few more flower sites (considering the fact that she should actually be ready for harvest by week 9) She shows no nutrient deficiencies, which is why I'm being a bit sparing with the fertilizer (I've fertilized a few times — conclusion: three days later, slight burn on the tips of the fan leaves) I'm curious about the further progress. Update 1.0 I only removed a few of the lower leaves to get more light to the flowers. A little bloom fertilizer was also fed.

RasendeRollo92 Welcome to the 4th week of flowering! The lady is doing well in my opinion. She's not getting much taller, but the buds are getting thicker, and I can already see the first "foxtails" here and there. I think I'm on track, and I'm curious to see what else the little one has to offer. Update 1.0 She's flowering! There's really not much else to report right now 🤷🏼 Update 2.0 The last day of week 8. According to RQS, this lady is now in her last week (on average). I don't see it that way. I want to give her about 3 more weeks. Maybe it's the weather, which, as you can see, hasn't been optimal most of the time.

RasendeRollo92 Welcome to week 9 - flowering week 5 The buds are getting thicker, the lady is doing well. The smell is slowly getting more intense on my balcony, but it's being kept relatively in check by the mint and such. The lady is also getting thirstier 🤷🏼 The weather is extremely changeable! From +30 degrees to extreme rain showers, everything has been part of the last week.

RasendeRollo92 Welcome to week 10! This little lady is slowly heading towards harvest… my first autoflower! However, the leaves are still completely full of juice. The buds aren't as fat as I'm used to with photoperiods. What do you think, how much longer does she need?

RasendeRollo92 The lady gave me the impression that she still needed time, but the trichomes were anything but patient/some were brown. 147 grams wet is what the little one weighs... I think I'll end up with about 20 grams dry without stems. All in all, I'm satisfied. More updates will follow after drying in about 2 weeks 👍 Update 1.0 26 grams dry... and a seed, wherever that came from 😂😂😂

Good luck, looks very healthy so far :)

RasendeRollo92 commented2y ago
@Apfelsaft94, thank you 🙈 I'm starting to feel a bit panicked, as in most reports I've seen for the Quick One, the flowering is slowly starting at this point. But I want them to be wider 🤷🏼

The lady looks healthy and happy, great job so far! 👌 I've also noticed that the time frames given by breeders are often too short, but patience pays off. Wishing you continued success!

@@BioFabi, thank you. I'm really curious to see how my outdoor experiment turns out 😂 we haven't really had a summer this year 🤷🏼

Everything looks great, here's to a successful grow 👍 I also have two Quick One ladies on my balcony and I'm already very happy for my first run. Except that - even though both sprouted on the same day and have everything else in common - there's a size difference of almost 20 cm. I also considered doing LST with both or one of them at the beginning, but I decided to hold off for now and save that experience for the second run. I’ll keep checking out your diary and see the results 😊

@OutdoorGandalf, yeah I jumped right in… first time with autoflowers, first time doing LST… let's see how it turns out 😶‍🌫️😂 so far it seems to be okay.

Everything looks good. Quick One is easy to care for; I had it in my first run too.
RasendeRollo92
RasendeRollo92 commented2y ago
@Sejanus21, really? I felt like the growth has been a bit slow lately 🙈 but it’s probably because I check every day and don’t really notice it 😂

@SnakeGrow, thank you :) my first autoflower. I'm curious to see what the dry yield will be.

@RasendeRollo92, I'd estimate around 20g. My NL had 100g wet on the stem after harvest and just about 15g dry.

This is one of the better ones I’ve seen for the Quick One on here but I would consider your week 6 the first week of flowering

@OutdoorGandalf, thank you thank you 🙏🏽 yeah the last few weeks are dragging on… you check every 2 hours to see if anything has grown because you want to harvest 😂😂😂
Roswell59
Roswell59 commentedweek 82y ago
To me in looks like it’s got another 3-4 weeks same as mine. Mine that are under fed look like they will be done in the 5-6 week period at 14 days . I wouldn’t rely on the genetics to pick your plant wait for your trichomes to appear and 50% of them in the whole plant turn amber. I think they are going to go longer both our and yield more

@noir_grow, I'm really curious too... but I have to be patient now 🤷🏼 the second lady is taking her time, and looks more massive. But she also had it easier, considering the weather conditions...
