Yo community! A friend of mine just started a Legal Grow in Germany with his roomate under my Supervision, as it is now Legal to grow in Germany. So I thought about documenting this grow. I've been growing for long time now, but my buddy Bili is a complete newbee at this stuff. I am positive that this "is gonna be huge". We plan on growing 6 plants. Bili is gonna be growing 3 and his roomate also 3 plants. Of course Bili will only care for his own 3 plants and his rommate for the other 3 as it is regulated like that by law. It is Germany where everything has to be like this apparently. lol. This grow will be 2-3 Weeks indoors 51w with low cost 3x17 Watts 4000 k LED Bulbs. (3€ each) Those produce 2500 lumens each, about 147 lm/W 1.45 l pots for the first few weeks indoors. The plants will then go into 5l pots on the window sill until harvest. faced to the south. So far the seeds have been placed into water over night. tomorrow we will put them into the soil. They are all Automatics. Day 2: seeds soaked over night. about 16 hours. The Gelato are already opening their shells.. The others are still closed. All sinked to the bottom over night. We are now planting them into the Soil.:) We soaked 9 seeds. 3x O.B. 4x Kryptonite and 2x Gelato. After cutting the dome off the lamps and counting the LED's (81) it looks like these are 0.21w SMD 31lm per LED (manufacturer says 147lm/w). for bulbs really good little LED's. looks like these are cree 2835 J series or similar types. there are cree 4000k J types that are exactly 31lm wich would be exactly what each LED should produce. (2500/81). Plant in Soil Date was 05 june. 14:00 Today, 2 Days and 10 hours, (58 hours) after planting in soil The 2 Gelatos came to life:) and one Kryptonite basically 3 full days including soaking time. 08.06 at 1:30 is the beginning of VEG Day one We will give them 24 hours light. day 5 after waterglass. Berries still no sign of life. lamp is at 30 cm distance. no signs of stretching. At Day 5 Veg we located the berry seeds and put them into paper towel, cracked them open and scraped the shell. we have enough plants now but nothing to choose from in case a plant has weak genes. So we hope a few berries will make it. probably old Seeds.

Beginning of Week 2, Day 8 everything is looking good. Auto OG berry seeds 3/3 did not sprout. Dead seeds. everything else came within 2 Days after soil plantin Day 9 We noticed some weird leaf spots. Maybe ph off... we can' treat ph yet. Added low dose Grow nutes 1ml/l to at least counteract the water ph a bit. They grow super fast and the soil was a 50/50 mix with light soil so We figured maybe a few nutes couldn't harm them. Transplanting will be in about 4 Days. Day 11 some spots on the first real leaves , probably just burnt, because of myco powder on the leaves on Day 4... Still growing fast. Lamp was raised to 30 cm. we would like to have a bit more stretch.. They also have a bit too much water imho, but we had to water one time before transplanting, which would be the 12th or 13th day. Only minor problems so far, if any:) Day 13 today we transplanted the plants into their final 5l containers. roots are looking amazing. mix is 75% composana and 25% lightmix. we also mixed more myko's in the soil around the old rootball about 1/3 up and topped off with soil. watered about 1.5l per 5l pot, ph'd water about 6.4 We are now gone over the weekend, and raised the lamps to about 40cm. monday new picures. they were looking real good the next morning after transplant and kept growing. We will see if everything is fine on monday when we get back. hopefully lots of new healthy growth.. we had to add about 5ml ph- (phosphoric acid 10%) to 10l tap water to get ph from 7.8 to about 6.4. no fert was added. only canna magnesium. hopefully the cheapo ph meter worked. next week topping will be happening between Day 18 and 21

Day 16 3 days after Transplant into the 5l pots. They did grow a lot over the weekend. We had to get them out of the box too, because it was already very crowded. We also decided to leave the Krypto 4 untouched, no topping as it is the smallest, but still growing good. And we topped the first plants. they are on their 6th node which we cut off. not much space for that because the nodes are very tight spaced. Everything is still growing fast and vigorous. Already many strong side branches which is nice. Watered about .8l per plant ph'd to 6.5. They will be put on The windowsill outdoors in about a week or so,maybe even sooner. Topping pics later this day🙂 We topped Krypto 1,3,4, and Gelato 1 and 2. Gelato 1 and Krypto 2 were the biggest until Transplanting, but now seem to grow slower or shorter/tighter somehow. Krypto 2 was postponed to tomorrow to have a little more room to cut the stem. Gelato 1 was also not a perfect candidate but we topped her anyway. Day 18 Picture update. 2 days after topping.

Day 23 We were 3 days absent. I think the Lamp was a bit far away. Lots of stem growth. Next time we better top them early.. I don' really like how they grow so tall and thin. and I think I prefer earlier topping. Not sure why people like to top after 5th node so much. But everything is still fine:) They show signs of hunger I guess. We will feed them today full dose bio grow. Day 25 Today them was put out on the sill:) All looking good so far. Day 27 almost last day of week 4 everything is looking good:) some hairs going on, weather is shit but they seem to like it. hope we will see some pre flowering going on next week. new week will be an interesting update, weather is looking good next week 5...

Beginning of Week 5 Day 29 We came back today and discovered we had a storm yesterday And a sunny day. Which led to the girls drying out and 2 plants snapping due to heavy winds. Gelato 1 and Krypto 3 snapped (was the best krypto of all). We stabilised the stems and hope they will recover. Put them indoors for next few days.. some side branches snapped too. We cut them off. We are working on a net to give them a little more stability and a sun shield for the pots.so they don't dry out as fast as they did yesterday when the sun is strong. At Day 30 the 2 snapped ones looking ok again. We now wait for the stem break to bulk up and put them outside again in a few days. Day 33 preflowering appeared. some already have pre flowers. we put the broken plants outaide again. healed enough. We put some stabilizers in too.

Day 36 Some show preflowers/little flowers. Krypto 4 the one we did not top, and the 2 Gelatos are the ones that show small bud development. The other 3 are a few days behind. 2 of the snapped ones included. We decided to only water with more drain than usual the next few days because some leaves show burnt tips. We have still storm/drying out damage on many leaves, so it is hard to say if it is just damage from that, or nute burn.. I think it is just damage from 6 days ago to be honest. Apart from that, everything is looking fine. Day 37. today We planned a slight flush. we did a normal watering with tap EC 0.6 , about 10 l. and the first drainage water was at 5.0 EC. later drain was about 3.9.. then we decided to flush another 10l tap/demineralized 50 50 water through the pots. final EC was about 3.0. We will let them sit like this until next watering. a drain EC of 2.3 is normal in soil ( drain is almost always higher than the actual present EC.) Some leaves show also clawing... next watering we will probably water with more drain again and check the EC again before we start feeding again. Day 40 Everything is looking normal.. Tap water with topmax and MG 2 kryptonite not yet flowering fully... the rest is working on the first budsites.. Weather is pretty good.. we are not at home for 3 days so hopefully this won't be a problem..

Day 43 We spotted a hermie with balls. amputated them. And some thrips damage and removed some old and sick leaves and started feeding again at 1/2/1 grow bloom and topmax. Measured drain ec of 1.5 and ph of 6. (ph pen is not trustworthy) but all looks ok. Day 46 Krypto 1 is showing purple buds. removed some small branches. Day 48 Added some night shots. I am currently not at the place of our grow .. but Bili made some flashy shots as I asked him to do lol:) And I edited them to look perfect:). he says the reality lies between both picture versions.. Honestly I think they are more on the lighter green side in reality. But still healthy enough:) Day 50 We got some worm humus yesterday and tried to make some tea with styring it for a day... with 3l demineralized water , handful worm castings and 15ml biogrow. Ec of the tea was abou 1.8 and ph of 7.6(probably) Mixed that up to about 14l solution with Ec of 0.8 and ph about 7.5. At least that is what the china ph stick says.. Then We spotted balls on the purple pheno Krypto.. not many.. removed it. We watered with an excess of 4l for all plants to get some more drain out today. First drain after 10l was 3.0 EC and 5.5 ph. Second drain after another 4 liters was EC 2.35 and ph 5.5. The water had Tea in it and about 1 ml bio grow per l from the brewing. Plus 1 ml Topmax /l no other nutes. Next Week we will place some blue sticky traps for the thrips we have. Plus we ordered amblyseius swirskii mites. UPDaTE! (Preview) Landlord called us that our plants could fall from the sill in panic mode... source of that may be safety concerns, but We doubt it. We see clay pots with plants on the sill here all the time, unsecured. Was never a problem. We could have secured them better but I think they just want no cannabis plants visible on the sill here. So fuck it with the sill. next Week will be an update on the situation.. but we decided to finish them indoors.. currently they are behind the window on the inside.. with less light than usual...

worried about the leaves. ph problems or lack of nutrients? darker plants=indicas yellow plants=sativas.. ph drain 6 to 6.5. tap7.5. did not check the ph of the feed. our ph pen sucks. Week 3 is most problematic every grow for me... I would guess high ph normally..

Hello Bili_R, You did answer your own question. Order a new pH pen, the cheap chinese ones will do for cannabis. Make sure to water till at least 20% runoff when you water the first time with the right pH. And one more thing, measuring the runoff from soil is useless. You need to do a slurry test if you want to measure the pH from the soil. Just google it and you will find how to do this. Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

Hey mate, yes your guessing right. Thats a slight nutrient lockout due to a wrong pH. Your plant cant take up the nutrient it wants, because your pH is out of range. You can use citric acid to lower it, when i dont have ph-regulator i simply use lemonjuice. a teaspoon lowers the ph for around 0.5 on 1Liter. Happy Growing, dont stress it👍

Week 8 Our evil Landlord had a Problem with the plants on the sill. She made the suggestion to put them on the shed roof in the backyard.. but that would be illegal because they have ro be inside the flat/not reachable for others. We put them on the sill behind the window on the inside for a few days. shortly after I spotted powdery mildew on one leaf.. and it progressed.. a few days later we removed some leaves and started to treat the leaves with milk. And we got predator mites for the thrips infestation. Bili ordered a 4x2 tent, 6 more LEDs with not so good quality in 3000k. (they sent the wrong model) We now have 9 bulbs with a total of 159w So from now on we finish them indoors. It sucks because they looked massive for a sill grow so far. Some people still don't accept that it is legal now it seems. The PH problem/nutrient lockout progressed. too much yellowing. We initially decided to guess the amount of ph down (when the ph pen still worked we figured out that 5ml/10l makes a ph of 6).so we wanted to bring the ph down with ph'd water. but billy was too stressed out to remember and watered with just tap water and topmax/mg. next watering we will give them a good dose of (guessed) ph 6 water.. hopefully this will help.

Plants are yellow. we used ph down to bring the ph to about 6 and fed half dose nutrients. last 2 times feeding was without nutes. which was a bit zu wenig futter. and ph was too high I guess for some time now.
