I plan to grow 2 seeds, 1 in a grow in a Grow Box named Danf Box indoor and the second on on my terrace for a comparison. Our journey began with two promising autoflowering seeds. We started by soaking the seeds in a glass of water for 48 hours, allowing them to absorb moisture and initiate the germination process. After the soak, we directly sowed the seeds into moist, nutrient-rich soil, ensuring they were placed at the right depth. Within a few days, the soil broke open, and the first signs of life appeared as tiny seedlings emerged, reaching towards the light. Both seeds sprouted successfully, showing strong initial growth. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey as we nurture these plants from seedlings to their full potential. Stay tuned for updates on their progress!

Our seedlings have officially entered their first week of growth after germination. With our grow box still in transit, we improvised a cozy spot for our new plants next to a window. Here, they could receive gentle, indirect light – just enough to support their initial growth without overwhelming them. Despite the less-than-ideal lighting conditions, our resilient little seedlings thrived. Within the first week, they showed impressive growth, quickly unfurling their first set of leaves. This early vigor is a promising sign of the healthy plants they will become. The temporary setup may not have been perfect, but the results speak for themselves. Our seedlings have demonstrated robust development, adapting well to their environment and setting a strong foundation for the weeks to come. Stay tuned as we continue to nurture these plants and track their progress!

As we wrap up the second week, our seedlings have shown remarkable progress. Their leaves are not only bigger but also exhibiting healthy growth, stretching from 8 centimeters to an impressive 12 centimeters tall. This steady development confirms that our initial nurturing efforts are paying off. With the arrival of our grow box, we made some strategic moves to optimize their growth environment. For the first couple of days, we placed them together with some other garden-bound seedlings. This temporary cohabitation allowed them to acclimate to a more structured setting before their big move.At the end of week two, we decided to experiment a bit. We separated the two plants, placing one on the terrace and the other into the Danf grow box. The terrace plant, our test subject, is the stronger of the two, facing the outdoor elements head-on. The smaller, but equally promising, plant now resides in the grow box, benefiting from a controlled environment to maximize its growth potential. Both plants look healthy and vibrant, and we're eager to see how this experiment unfolds. This separation will help us understand how different conditions impact growth, and we’re excited to compare their progress in the coming weeks. Stay tuned as we continue this journey, nurturing our plants and documenting their development. The adventure has just begun!

Bat Guano - Madame Grow
Bat Guano 15 mll
Week three brought a bit of a challenge to our growing journey, testing my patience as growth slowed down compared to the initial rapid progress. Both our indoor and outdoor plants seemed to hit a bit of a plateau, and the progress was slower than anticipated.I spent a lot of time comparing the two environments, observing minimal differences in growth. Despite this, I remained hopeful and attentive. During this week, I noticed something peculiar with the grow box – whenever I opened it, the lights dimmed and then brightened again. This prompted me to do some investigation, and I reached out to the customer service team for the grow box. Their response was excellent; they informed me about a new firmware update that addressed this issue. Once updated, the lights functioned perfectly, ensuring our indoor plant received consistent lighting. In addition, I used bat guano from Madame Gros as a fertilizer. I mixed 15 grams in a liter of water and spread it across both plants, hoping to provide them with the necessary nutrients for the coming weeks.Though the growth was not as vigorous this week, both plants remain healthy, and I’m optimistic about their future progress. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey!

Week four brought a rewarding turn of events as both our indoor and outdoor plants experienced a significant growth spurt, reaching an impressive size of 20 to 25 centimeters. This week, the plants also developed quite a few new leaves, making it an engaging and exciting time to watch them flourish. Given the fertilization with bat guano in the previous week, I opted not to add any additional nutrients this week. Instead, I focused on providing plain, filtered water – approximately 200 milliliters each day, sometimes a bit less depending on the plant’s needs. It was truly satisfying to see the plants responding so well, with lush new foliage and robust growth. Both the indoor and outdoor setups seem to be working well, and I’m optimistic about their continued progress.Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey!

Week five brought some key adjustments and challenges to our growing journey. For our indoor plant, I decided to adjust the lamp distance after taking some light measurements. By placing a pot underneath, I brought the plant closer to the light, which resulted in a significant growth boost. The plant responded very well to this change, showing robust growth and vitality. On the outdoor front, we encountered a pest issue. To combat this, I began spraying the plant with a protective coat to ward off the pests and ensure its health. This was crucial in maintaining the plant’s growth and preventing further damage. As the week progressed, the differences between the indoor and outdoor plants became more pronounced. The indoor plant started to outgrow the outdoor plant, developing more leaves and showing faster overall growth. This necessitated some defoliation; although initially hesitant, I decided to remove five large fan leaves to improve light penetration. This careful pruning should help optimize the plant’s growth. Additionally, I noticed some colorization on the leaves, which prompted me to add a dose of Cal-Mag. After this fertilisation, the leaves quickly returned to a healthy green, showing clear improvement. Towards the end of the week, the indoor plant began showing signs of pre-flowering, with small flowers starting to emerge. This marks an exciting new phase in their development. Both plants are progressing well despite the challenges, and I’m excited to see how they continue to develop. Stay tuned for more updates as we navigate these growth stages!

Week six has been nothing short of stunning as both plants continue their impressive growth. Our indoor plant has fully entered the blooming phase, prompting me to add some Compo fertilizer along with BioBiz BioBloom to support its flowering needs. Noticing some colorization on the leaves again, I reapplied Cal-Mag to ensure the plant stays healthy and vibrant. Additionally, I removed another two leaves to improve light penetration, allowing the emerging flowers to receive more light and thrive. To help the plant recover from the defoliation, I also used BioBiz Alga Mic, ensuring it remains robust and vigorous. For the outdoor plant, which is still in the vegetative state, the battle with pests continues. To protect it, I applied another coat of protective spray. The outdoor plant is steadily growing and preparing for its eventual bloom.

Indoor Plant: In week seven, we observed significant progress with our indoor plant. The flowers have become much bigger and have entered the blooming phase. The growth in height has stabilized at approximately 58 centimeters, although the flowers are still continuing to grow. Currently, I am using BioBloom and Topmax from BioBiz. I've started administering Topmax at a rate of four milliliters every time I water, alongside BioBloom as the primary fertilizer.Additionally, I had to adjust the distance to the light. The plant was getting too close, so I placed it on the bottom ground to ensure it remains at an optimal distance from the light source. To improve light penetration to the flowers, I also removed five additional leaves. I am considering whether I should remove more leaves for even better light conditions and would appreciate any feedback on this. Outdoor Plant: The outdoor plant faced challenging weather conditions this week, including storms and heavy rains. Despite not being in ideal conditions, the plant has shown remarkable resilience and performance. One notable incident was when the plant was tilted at a 45-degree angle due to strong winds. The entire plant, along with its roots, shifted within the bucket, but I was able to correct this issue easily. Interestingly, I've noticed that the outdoor plant has started to emit a very strong and pleasant weed aroma, despite its challenging conditions. On the other hand, the indoor plant, which is growing much bigger and producing more flowers, does not have this distinctive smell. Terpene Exploration: Given these observations, I have started researching terpenes and how to enhance their production. I plan to raise a question in this thread for any ideas or suggestions to help increase the aromatic profile of my indoor plant. Thank you for following along with my grow diary. Any suggestions on enhancing terpene production or advice on further leaf removal would be greatly appreciated!

Folks, how can I increase terpene production and enhance the aroma of my indoor cannabis plant, which currently has larger flowers but lacks the noticeable smell observed of my outdoor plant? Or is it normal normal as the plants have different conditions and stress level?
