Heading into week two with a full head of steam! Plants have been growing at an incredible rate. Every day when I check them there's a new set of leaves popping out. Expecting aggressive growth this week as well. Trying to get these to 16in as fast as possible to top. Second led was added (300w) for supplimental light. Will update more this week.
Week two went smoothly with minor light burn to the northern lights plant so I clipped the leaves and backed the lights off a bit to about 24 inches rather than 18-20. Week 3 is here and I expect some solid growth as well! Let me know what you think!
Plants have a little discoloration from underwatering. I always worry about over watering but it is nearly impossible with my smart pots plus the amount of airflow I have. Plants are doing well and still have solid growth. 23 days old now hoping to top close to day 30.
After another solid week of growth i decided to make the switch as the plants are at my desired height with the room i have. The second led will now be on every day. Plants are still surprisingly thirsty and are watered daily.
Just another week of solid growth. Haven't used any nutes so far this run and haven't seen any signs I need to. If anything I'll top off the soil as I always leave an inch or two to work with. Plants continue to be watered daily and 3-4 leaves are trimmed daily to start to defoliate. Smart pots continue to work wonderfully. Hoping over this next week we get our small little buds to form.
My favorite part of every grow... We have BUDS!!! Finally have some small growth going and our baby buds have arrived! The yellow leaves are simply ones I haven't trimmed yet. Still getting some vertical growth and will probably tie some braches down to help with lighting.
The ladies are looking good this week!! Buds have been pretty much doubling in size each night. Still haven't used nutes, though I did some much needed trimming on the lower parts of the plants and topped the soil off. Hoping the runoff from fresh soil will be enough. I'd say another 2-3 weeks max before we can harvest. Getting exciting!!!
This has been a lot of fun so far and is enjoyable to watch on a daily basis. The buds pretty much grow every day and are starting to really swell up nicely. A little clawing from pH if I had to guess but I've never pH adjusted the water. Still look very healthy and did some cleaning on the lower parts of the plants. I've mostly just let them yellow and fall off on their own. Home stretch!
Had so much fun with this strain. Super easy to grow and produced some seriously sticky buds. Cannot wait until drying and curing are done so we can test it out!
Sweet, did you pick these strains for low odour purposes? Keep us updated with smell from each one my friend, I need to get something that isn't gonna stink my room out and look forward to your outcome. 👍
@PannDanggDiddlyAngg, if you look for a low odor strain from nirvana check "aurora indica" (northern light x afghani ), short bushy indica nice if you have little space, slighty more hearthy and spicy for the taste but like close to no smell but the two last flowering weeks, and still low
@PannDanggDiddlyAngg, They we're actually just a random one a relative wanted to try haha. As far as odor you can buy a filter off of Amazon for around $20 and $15 for the ducting from a local hardware store. When the tent is closed you can stand right next to it and not smell a thing. Appreciate the comment and enjoy the ride! 😎
