Wrs10 Let's start with 2 Automatics from Sensi Seeds. Sensi Skunk and White Skunk, because I didn't want to wait for the ordered fem. seeds. I had a Hindu Kush, but it didn't come up. Next time, I would sow directly in seedling soil. (I had put the Hindu Kush seed in an old tray with leftover soil at some point and saw a few weeks later that it had actually germinated in the soil. Unfortunately, it was already dried out by then.)

Wrs10 After a good week, the two have moved into the final pot. At that time, I didn't have any real lighting yet, so they mostly spent the day by the window or on the balcony, which affected their progress in the first few days. After transplanting into AllMix BioBizz, the growth has clearly accelerated.

Wrs10 2. Veggie week and my lamp is here. Due to the lower purchase price, I initially decided on a dimmable HPS with 600W. I started with 240W. Both plants are continuing to develop. The first lesson, which came later, is that it's better to grow one strain in a tent. You'll see it later :)

Wrs10 A lot has happened this week. The two automatics have grown nicely and new levels have developed. In the end, both were topped. The left branch of the Sensi Skunk got slightly damaged, but in hindsight, it only resulted in two or three deformed leaves. So I got lucky again. :) I haven't fertilized at all so far, which I probably should have started earlier. This will definitely become noticeable later with the Sensi Skunk. Additionally, the two ladies have gained some company. 4 Strawberry Kush fem., about 2-3 weeks old, I believe. No automatics. Since the two automatics will run on 18/6 until the end, the 4 strawberries can spend their veg phase in the tent.

Wrs10 I would say that this is the last veg week. In the meantime, I have an exhaust system to regulate humidity and temperature during the upcoming flowering. The fourth cutting, which needed to develop some roots, has also moved into the tent. A vacation is coming up soon, so the plants will be on their own for 5 days.

Wrs10 After my short vacation, I was able to see that the plants made it through and have started to bloom. Up until now, I hadn't fertilized additionally and felt secure. I had already bought the starter pack from biobizz. However, since I had often heard that you don't need to fertilize at the beginning with heavily fertilized soil and the plants looked good, I hadn't followed the fertilization schedule so far. Additionally, I had read that automatics don't need much at the beginning. Well, I did say learnings :). During the bloom, the White Skunk has stretched quite a bit, so unfortunately, I can't evenly distribute the lamp over both plants anymore. At the same time, I somehow managed to shock the little Strawberries. They didn't handle the 5 days without water very well, and I ended up watering them daily for a few days. Not overwatered, but probably fertilized too much. At the same time, due to the bloom of the others, I increased the lamp's power to 600 watts. Maybe it was all at once ;) Since the power increase, the temperature and humidity in the tent have also risen accordingly, so now I definitely need exhaust and ventilation.

Wrs10 I've started fertilizing according to the schedule. The Sensi Kush is showing the first signs of deficiency. The Strawberries have rolled their sides up and are producing leafy leaves. A clear sign that something isn't right for them :) Overall, I'm feeling a bit of panic. Since the White Kush has grown much larger compared to the Sensi Kush, I decided to go for the radical approach and bent the big branches a bit. Hope that the buds get more light this way. I can now hang the lamp significantly lower again.

Wrs10 Both plants have had the same conditions throughout all weeks. Same time, same amount of water, same amount of nutrients, and almost the same amount of light. The Sensi Skunk is definitely further along in flowering than the White Skunk, which makes sense since the development time according to the manufacturer is also shorter. With the Sensi Skunk, deficiency symptoms have progressed further. With the White Skunk, I was able to stop the deficiency symptoms after their initial appearance.

Wrs10 Everything is progressing as expected. It's clear that the Sensi Skunk will finish earlier. But according to the manufacturer's information, that makes sense. You can also see that I couldn't address the nutrient deficiency with the Sensi Skunk. The White Skunk has recovered well, in my opinion.

Wrs10 I tried taking pictures without the light on. It's a completely different look :) the Sensi Skunk has only been getting water for a few days now. The White Skunk will still get nutrients for at least 2 more weeks and then we'll see.

Wrs10 The first automatic has been harvested. The White Skunk will stay in the tent for another 2-3 weeks. I'm satisfied with the result, even though it could have been a bit more. I didn't weigh it wet, but I hope it will come out to 40 grams later. The buds definitely look quite compact. The White Skunk still has some desire, the flowers are definitely still growing.

Wrs10 The White Skunk is running the last meters. (If you can still call it that :) with all the deformities, it looks more like a monster). It has developed noticeable fox tails towards the end, which is probably a sign that it was stressed hard at the end. It definitely looks like more than what was in the Sensi Skunk. I'm really curious to see what will be left after drying.

Der Phenotyp war mehr sativalastig, was ich meine an der Größe und an den buds zu erkennen. Sie konnte grundsätzlich besser mit den Nährstoffen umgehen als die sensi skunk. Beide haben gleiche Bedingungen bekommen.

Wrs10 Now the second autoflower has been harvested as well. It looks like significantly more than what was on the Sensi Skunk. I'm curious to see what the final result will show. The White Skunk was probably well stressed towards the end, likely due to the temperatures and strong deformations. It developed fox tails at the end and turned quite purple. Maybe I also cut it a few days too late. The buds at the base look compact, while the branches are quite fluffy. I will report back. I didn't weigh it wet.

Hello @Wrs10, nice to see another Cannabian! Your plants could be a bit bushier, but so far it looks good. Yellow leaves are normal in the later flowering phase. The leaves will gradually turn yellow now. The deficiency occurs because the leaves are being consumed by the plant itself. They are no longer needed for growth. If you want to learn, please provide some more data. The humidity would be interesting, for example. Maybe we can help you better then. I think the most important factors for a good grow are the light and the VPD value.

@MunichGrasfabrik, thanks for your feedback. During the day, the temperature is 30 degrees + and the humidity is around 30% when the weather is relatively normal. Once the light goes out and the temperature drops to about 24 degrees, the humidity rises to 55-65% depending on the weather conditions. Aside from exhaust and ventilation, which run 24 hours, I don't have any other climate control devices in use. Thanks for the tip about the VPD value. I'll look into it.

@Wrs10, That's how I started too. Then I realized that I was having a hard time controlling the humidity, so I bought a humidifier that automatically maintains the humidity. I don't want to advertise, but the Govee Hygrometer + Govee Humidifier do a great job here, and I can control everything via an app. It also shows the vapor pressure deficit, which is nothing more than the VPD value. It should always be between 0.4 and 1.6; otherwise, the plant's water cycle gets disrupted, and it won't grow further. The only downside is that it takes some time (hours) for the water cycle to get back on track once the values are right again. I fear that yours was often above 1.6. That's why the plant isn't growing as lush as it could. 30° - That's the same for me. Ideally, it would be 26°, but that's not feasible in summer without significant costs. If the room is already at 30°, it's hard to cool it down to 26°. That's why I've taken 2 measures: 1. I've set the night phase to 12-6 PM to avoid the midday heat. 2. I bought a strong fan with plenty of power reserve. It goes into alarm mode when the temperature exceeds 28°. This keeps the temperature to a minimum. And most of the day, it's cooler than 30°. Unlike PrimaKlima, which is doing massive advertising now, my fan is controlled purely by the app. Yeah, those have been my thoughts and measures. I hope that helps you out.
the end.
