Moved them to their final home. No issues to report. Just normal growth and some minor pest damage.

I thought this would be a great opportunity to compare HST vs. LST on F1's in the same garden. I hope to get a defined outcome. The first plant up, #1 had been a bit ahead of #2 the entire time and is the one I topped.

These where pushing hairs everyday this week so I had no choice but to call it flower. The alpha plant that I topped did not show any visible signs of stress and barely missed a beat. 3 beans came out of this pack and 3 beans came up. The last one was sowed about a week behind the others. I have decided to include it for experimental purpose. We now have a HST, LST and what I am going to coin Extreme LST to compare F1's.

Very pleased with the way these plants are performing. Unfortunately they suffered a fair about of pest damage yesterday. Just a reminder, the third plant (ELST) is a week behind and is included for scientific purpose only. Planning on feeding PK this upcoming week.

These plants have an incredibly sweet lemon/lime smell with other citrus undertones. The topped plant seems to be taking the early lead in bud production. All are showing a nice dark green color.

The pictures do more than I can say. The genetics here are absolute fire. This week there is a new scent on top of the myriad of citrus. It is heavy pine with what some might call a diesel smell but combined with the undertones smells more like asphalt to me. Clearly the terps are layered in over time and not just pushed out in a single compound. The scent is sharp and it makes my eyes tingle. Things are looking textbook.

The scent this week remains strong but has blended into one smell that is a bit hard to describe. Very Sticky. Juiced them at the end of the week.

It has been a rough week here. The heavy rains and a bit of rough handling combined with a main stem defect possibly caused by pests combined to bring the Twin Towers down. My Boy Scout repair seemed to be functional and I monitored it closely, expecting a finish. Unfortunately bud rot set in and I was forced to harvest 2 of the plants. The third I only removed 1 bud. Only the Extreme LST plant remains possibly due to it being a week behind and the flowers less dense. When I wet trimmed them I was getting blown up with minty pine, citrus and asphalt. Interestingly the wet weight of the un-topped plant was slightly higher but within a delta to be sure. The dry weight roles where reversed and the topped plant buds where denser and of a higher very much consistent quality. On an un-topped plant usually the center flowers are of the highest quality. Here they all appeared to be nearly identical and of the highest quality. I will continue in hopes of getting a finish on the last plant keeping in mind the weeks will be off by about 1 because this one was started later.

Unfortunately I was not able to get this test across the finish line. The rot returned with the hot/wet weather. I pulled about 12 grams out of this one last plant. The taste is just like the smell, Minty pine and citrus with a heavy asphalt overtone. The high is interesting because it's uplifting and very even. It does not morph. It lifts you up and you stay there until it slowly tails off. This is no 15 min wonder here. I believe we have a few findings. The first being avoid a mid summer harvest. The next biggest would be there is zero in stressing out your plant with Extreme LST in this outdoor grow. All it did was allow me to grow a bonsai and reduce the yield. The final thing that stood out was the topped plant seemed to produce higher quality and more consistent flowers. Not a lot to it visually but there seemed to be something there. I will back check my work in a future grow.
