It has been a rough week here. The heavy rains and a bit of rough handling combined with a main stem defect possibly caused by pests combined to bring the Twin Towers down. My Boy Scout repair seemed to be functional and I monitored it closely, expecting a finish. Unfortunately bud rot set in and I was forced to harvest 2 of the plants. The third I only removed 1 bud. Only the Extreme LST plant remains possibly due to it being a week behind and the flowers less dense.
When I wet trimmed them I was getting blown up with minty pine, citrus and asphalt. Interestingly the wet weight of the un-topped plant was slightly higher but within a delta to be sure. The dry weight roles where reversed and the topped plant buds where denser and of a higher very much consistent quality. On an un-topped plant usually the center flowers are of the highest quality. Here they all appeared to be nearly identical and of the highest quality.
I will continue in hopes of getting a finish on the last plant keeping in mind the weeks will be off by about 1 because this one was started later.
