yerbatero Context: I just created an account on GrowDiaries and I don't have photos of the entire process. While checking my smartphone, I rescued some from the flowering stage. I gave my Laughing Buddha 5 weeks of vegetation and I've had it from seed. I took these photos on the day I changed the photoperiod to 12/12 on 09.05.24. My grow tent is very small, 40x40x160 cm, and the 300W LED light is too powerful for the size of the tent (I have it from my previous grows with a larger tent), but so far it hasn't caused me any problems. I'm really looking forward to having these buds cured. I researched a lot about the strain before growing it, and apparently, this strain is the right one for me.

yerbatero As I wrote earlier, I didn't think about keeping track, so I don't have photos from all the weeks. Starting this week, I will keep track. These photos and videos are from the day the week 6 begins. Since the start of flowering, the plant has roughly tripled in size. The smell is amazing, like very sweet exotic fruits. I was too ambitious and gave it too much vegetation considering the small space of the tent. Since I have very little space, I wanted to make the most of it; the whole space is filled with tops, which doesn't allow much light to reach the buds below. There's too much plant material, so to prevent the appearance of mold, I'm keeping a close eye on the humidity. The air extraction and ventilation are on almost all the time to avoid botrytis. yerbatero Today my L.B. is 7 weeks into flowering. The buds have fattened up a bit more and the aroma is a bit more intense. I did a little defoliation so that the lower buds get a bit more light.

yerbatero I still haven't mastered the art of taking good photos of the buds. I think the photos don't do justice to how beautiful the flowers look. Also, the colors of the pistils don't show up well in the photos. These pictures are from day 56, when they reach 8 weeks of flowering. The flowers have fattened up, the smell is still fruity, sweet, and intense, but it has turned a bit more sour in the last few days. They already have some amber trichomes; I wonder if this is normal or if they are maturing faster because the light is very strong or because the Hesi Boost flowering enhancer is doing its job. I will try to harvest on day 70 as the seed bank says or when the trichomes are 30% amber, whichever comes first.

yerbatero The buds are very compact and hard, they have a good aroma and about 10% amber trichomes, so I will harvest in the next few days :)

Coseché mi L.B. con 65 días de floración. Tenía aproximadamente un 20% de tricomas ámbar. Supongo que fue un fenotipo un poco más rápido o maduró antes debido a las condiciones de cultivo. Coseché un total de 86 gramos, que dividí en tres categorías:
Puntas y cogollos de primera calidad: 55 gramos (los dejaré curar bastante tiempo antes de fumar).
De segunda calidad: 14 gramos (me los fumaré sin más).
De tercera calidad: 17 gramos, que junto a las hojas con tricomas y restos de la manicura, utilicé para hacer hachís con el método dry sift, resultando en 4,12 gramos de hachís que, según yo, tiene muy buena calidad.
Lamentablemente, el secado fue muy rápido porque en Berlín estos días ha hecho mucho calor. Probé un cogollo de segunda con un café a media mañana y ¡boom! Estuve increíblemente productivo ese día. Noté mucha energía y concentración, no paraba de hacer cosas. Me gustó mucho el efecto. Para hablar más de los efectos, creo que tengo que fumar más y sin café, el verano recién empieza :)
El aroma y sabor son muy afrutados y dulces.

yerbatero The cultivation was easy and the plant is resilient. I would grow it again. The buds are very compact, the aroma and flavor are very fruity and sweet. The effect is very energetic, although I still need to keep trying it. In summary, a delicacy.
