Girls are doing great. Was just going to water last time but decided to go ahead and hit them with a half dose of Emerald Harvest nutrients. They got the very slightest amount of tip burn so definitely the next watering will be h2o and molasses, with Recharge, time to feed the roots for before the flowers are demanding more from them(roots).

my friend is using them for 5 years, swears by them , loves them, his plants are huge, he grows in coco. but i sometimes had similar results in soil, then he started to feed and water twice a day, i doubt i would ever catch him now ;) he collects run off, dont let them to stand in it. buds are really dense and big, reminds cali weed , but his wife always loved my weed more, she dont smoke, but smell from my organic grows was making her happy, husband weed iritaded her a bit ;)

Defoliation, does it matter if the leaf has a green stem or purple, the top of the branch or underside, pointing outwards or inwards, big or small, shorter or longer, too little or too much or just leave them alone.

So, Defoliation can be a highly debated topic.
It all depends. If this is the only plant in your tent.
Much less Defoliation is needed.
Points why ppl defol
Light exposure to bud sites, especially is full tent
Keeping down RH and allow for better air flow throughout the crop.
So, if this is just 1 plant
U can do energy diverting Defoliation
So, the big huge fan leaves. These can be removed. It causes the smaller leaves around and up & down colas to grow, as they get bigger they draw in more energy closer to the bud. So, you need big sets of fans from the top 1-2 sets and at the bottom as they aren't blocking any top buds above nothing but soil beneath. These leaves u can leave. Pick big fan leaves, there'll be a few. That can be removed. Also, if u can leaf tuck and pull nodes out to allow light to get deeper in, stuff like this. Using your full space is a much better approach.

Would I notice a change in flower production if a added a Far Red light bar to my current light setup. Currently lights have 96 red led chips, producing a color temperature of about 2650 cct(k) good and warm. Lots of flowers! Would they get any fatter?

Genetics is 95% of that, assuming competency growing otherwise.
Red wavelengths will reduce branching, very slightly. It's not going to make your yield bigger. That is mostly about DLI. if giving 35-40 DLI in ambient co2 conditions, you'll reach 50g/sq ft when doing everything right. can some genetics do better, maybe, but it's a solid goal for most decent plants.
I used to worry about my 'newer' 3400K lights. I was using DIY 2900K lights before that. I have seen no difference under other of them in 3 years of comparison so far. I know i've grown the same strain under each and they come out as expected. NEver tried compaingn clones, but if it's not easily noticeable it's not something to fret about. I had buyer's remorse initially, but since then all those worries were totally unwarranted. People have strong opinons on this stuff, but without any data to back it up i'd be skeptical.

Du kannst dir das Geld sparen. Bevor das dickere Buds ausmacht solltest du dein Environment perfektionieren und den VPD perfekt haben. Das allein wird deine Ernte mehr boosten als IR, Far Red oder UV extra Beleuchtung zusammen. Ich habe auch darüber nachgedacht das gebe ich zu aber davor sollte alles andere perfekt sein dann kann eventuell darüber nachdenken. Die Firma Sanlight macht eine Studie über UV und hat keine starke verbesserung bis jetzt bemerkt.

all marijuana plants work the same. the breeder may not be as selective in their breeding processes as someone else but that doesn't change how you treat the plants.
35-40 dLIi with a well-balanced diet will be 90% of the equation outside of genetics. (genetics being 90% of everything, so the things we control are only 9% of the total, lol)
people that think very highly of themselves for growing a weed well have a very low bar for success, bwahaha.

check out their profile page, it lists the people who have grown them and their harvest. Can get some info about stuff from there. Even DM a few of the growers and ask em. Can even go into the strain your growing and only see the harvest and growers of that genetic.
