Hello and welcome to my third grow report. Briefly about me, I have almost no experience with growing. I started my first grow over 10 years ago and didn't even buy seeds back then, but simply took some seeds that I had in my weed from my dealer. This time I try it with bought seeds from Fast Buds. I decided to plant my first purchased seed in May. You are welcome to have a look at the other grow repots where I planted a GG4 Sherbet FF and a Gorilla Cookies Auto. Now I will continue with a Purple Lemonade Auto.
This time I wanted to do without the paper towel method and let the seeds germinate completely in water. This has worked well so far. It took about 36 hours for the first root to form. The seed was planted directly into the 25 litre final pot. The fabric pot was filled with pre-fertilised soil and at the end I made a hollow with seedling soil. The seed was planted there to prevent it from burning in the pre-fertilised soil. I used a fabric pot from Gronest.
Nutrients seedling soil:
N 140 mg/L - P 140 mg/L - K 200 mg/L - Mg 100 mg/L
Nutrients pre-fertilized soil:
N 280 mg/L - P 260 mg/L - K 350 mg/L - Mg 120 mg/L - S 450mg/L
On june 26, the seedling broke through the earth. It was watered every day with a spray bottle (approx. 50ml a day) with regular tap water in small circles around the seedling. The first week went without a hitch. The weather was really great.
I end the week after day 5 so that I don't have to split up the weather report.
Welcome to week 2, the weather has been quite changeable this week. Due to a snail problem in my garden I put the plants in at night where they get an additional 3 hours of light from an LED bulb. The watering was increased from 50ml to 150ml. So far everything has gone well and I am happy.
Welcome to week 3 of my grow diary. In the middle of the week I decided to top the plant. She looked very healthy and she took it well. Immediately after topping I started with LST.
See you next week ✌️
Welcome to week 4 of my grow diary. Unfortunately, I almost tore off a shoot this week. I have no idea how this could have happened. In the morning everything was still fine and at lunchtime I saw the snapped shoot. Perhaps a bird flew into the plant or the shoot was under too much tension from the LST. I tried to support the shoot. At first I thought the shoot was dying but it managed to regenerate. Unfortunately, I can forget about further LST now.
Welcome to week 5 of my grow diary. After breaking the shoot, the plant has started the flowering phase. In my opinion, she could have taken a little more time as it is not yet the optimum size. Never mind. The main thing is that the shoot has almost recovered. I have continued to fix the lower shoots with hooks so that they get more sun and are not covered by the canopy. I have increased the watering to 1.5 litres every 2 days.
See you next week ✌️
Welcome to week 7 of my grow diary. Not much has changed in terms of growth. I don't think she will grow much more. She is slowly starting to smell. It reminds me of a fruit cocktail. The watering has been increased to 4 litres as the soil dries out quickly.
See you next week ✌️
Welcome to week 8 of my grow diary. The plant is slowly developing a purple to pink colour. With a few exceptions, the weather is great. If it has rained then only very little.
See you next week ✌️
Welcome to week 9 of my grow diary. This is the last week of my Purple Lemonade from Fastbuds. As I discovered slight mould on one of the buds I decided to harvest it. I could have left it for another week, but I didn't want to take any risks. The trichomes of the larger flowers were all milky. The ones in the lower section could have matured a little more. Despite the cracked shoot, the plant still developed really well. What disappointed me a little was the colour. I would have liked it to be a little more purple, but maybe I got a phenotype that couldn't develop such intense colours as the plant on the FastBuds website. I will definitely give this strain another chance in the future.
See you next week for the final result✌️
