With powerfully euphoric effects, unrivalled flavours and dense nugs that pack a real punch, it is no wonder that this strain variety is one of the most popular in the world today.
Seedsman’s very own Bruce Banger is bred from an Original OG Kush and a Strawberry Diesel. The strain holds a classic diesel aroma from its Strawberry parent, while retaining the exhilarating effects of its Kush lineage.
A sativa dominant strain, Bruce Banger is appropriate for daytime use; once the initial hit of power disappears, the user is left with a creative buzz that can last for hours.
Bruce Banger flowers at 9 to 10 weeks and is suitable for all environments and grow media.
This immensely popular and in-demand strain is not to be missed!
On the 6th of December this bean started germination by being placed directly from the pack and into a 7cm pot of John innes seedling and cutting soil and lightly saturated with a low dose of acti-vera, she shown an appearance this afternoon making the germination process only 3 days. This grow will be done using biobizz nutrients and soil, and I will be topping and low stress training, she will be flowered under a 600w after being veged for between 8-10 weeks
I have transplanted to a 5l pot, I have sacked the led off and will be veging with a 400w hps, and I am going to be topping her today so I can start training asap, this one already has some colour to her and has a fair bit of purple in her main stem So thinking she may be quite a dark plant this one, looking forward to seeing her progress anyway
So this bb has been topped at the 4th set of nodes, I have then slightly bent the main stem over and will keep easing it a little more, she is quite tough at the moment though so bit awkward to do but will be training the side branches too, to create as many bud sites as possible! I have also trimmed off a few fans to allow more light penetration so hopefully she thickens up nicely, the purple is starting to come out in her a bit more so I'm interested to see if this continues as I've not had a purple plant before!
So on to week 5 for this bb, she is coming along pretty well to be fair.. I'm going to be transplanting to a 20l pot in the next couple of days and then will be continuing the training.. she still has a couple weeks to go before she gets the flip so plenty of time to thicken up some more and developed more bud sites so hopefully so continues to progress well
So we're upto week 6, she is doing great at the moment and has come along quite well since my last update, she was re-potted into a 20l pot and I have continued her training so she is doing well to stay pretty even at the moment, she currently has 8 main tops and she still has a bit of time to get some more training in to let them side branches shoot up some more before she gets the flip and fills out properly.. so looking forward to seeing how she gets on from here on in!
7 weeks in now, little brucey isn't so little any more, as you can see from the pictures she has come along nicely since my last update, filling out well and looks nice and healthy, my initial plan was to let her go another week atleast but she seems to be growing quite vigorously now so my concern is once she hits the flowering stretch things might get a little over crowded in the tent! So the pics are from her last day of veg, she is going to have a 24 hour dark period before going into 12/12.. And then I will tidy her up a little to allow more light penetration and and focus her energy higher up the plant!
Week 8: week 1 of 12/12.. so little brucey is coming along great at the moment.. plenty of growth happening and lots of bud sites have been created from the training so I'm excited to see her produce. she is a bit bushy at the moment so I am going to tidy up her lower 3rd to avoid any wasted energy and then I'm going to give her a little trim again to allow more light penetration.
So we are at the end of week 2 here, last week when i noted down her size I hadn't measure her properly so I think i was a bit off given her size now but she has stretched up and also filled out quite a lot this week so I'm looking forward to seeing how that continues, I'm hoping she doesn't stretch much more now but either way I'm impressed with how she has grown! I have introduced bio bloom this week at quarter strength and have also added a top dressing of dolomite lime to the pot. I don't need to do any more training now and have tidied up her lower third so I think I am just going to let her grow out now and hope she fills that canopy out nicely!
So 21 days into 12/12, looks like the flowering stretch has almost come to an end now, bud sites are starting to fill out nicely now and she is starting to get a bit frosty too, she has stretched a little more then I would have liked but I'm not complaining and she has plenty of sites so I'm looking forward to seeing her fatten up! To be fair she is starting to smell quite alot so I reckon she is going to be stinking soon! She looks pretty happy and healthy too, not really anything else to say so till next time!
D28 of 12/12 for brucey, bud growth is starting to become a little more vigorous as they start filling out.. she has gotten a little frostier since my last update. Smell is becoming more potent now and she has quite a bitter skunky aroma. still seems to be nice and healthy though so I'm looking forward to seeing her fatten up now
D35 of 12/12, buds are starting to fatten up a bit more now, I have given another watering of Epsom salts this week.. I had to hide her for a few hours the other day and I think it stressed her out a little but no damage was done and I think it might of actually benefited her a little as she has suddenly gone quite frosty and pretty sticky too... still plenty of time though so quite eager to see how she finishes off
Thats an interesting technique you have there ! keep up the good work and your going to be rocking and rolling with a big healthy plant in no time !
Happy Growing!
