Strange stretching with large internodal spacing. Added a few equipment pictures this time. Trying very low ec this week. No adverse effects noticed on the plants.
Stretched a lot more then I expected. Raining this weekend so bringing in more humidity with cooling air.
Dropped day temperature to 78. Starting to get smelly. Roots growing down overflow tube into reservoir.
Plants budding dense and still streachig. Never seen a plant do both at the same time. My crops self conversion to dwc continues. with a few weeks to go, I’ll have to keep an eye on the overflow screen For clogging. Still running low ec, the plants don’t seem to notice. PH super stable at this nutrient strength. High humidity in my cooling air has meant a lot more venting so co2 has been lower this past week. Smell getting stronger............DR
Getting really smelly now. Backing way off the nutes, will start flushing next week. Dropped temperatures down a little more and raised light about 2 inches. Autumn in my closet. If this dank shiznit tastes as good as it smells it’ll be a treat.
Starting final flush. Plants are super smelly and looking great. The low e.c. Experiment seems to be doing good. The taste will tell. Trying to run cool and chill these plants out to bring out more purple
Crops look like they could use a few more days, trichromes milky but no amber yet. Pistils 75% red. Probably harvest mid week. Trimmed fan leaves off early last week bottom of stems maturing well but could use the extra light to ripen. Running two bulbs seems to give the light two paths to the leaves and really helps penetration. Looking forward to a great harvest and starting a new crop. I’m looking for some CBD genetics to grow outdoors this summer, should be a good diary
A very sticky harvest, probably pulled half a gram of scissor hash off my trimming snips and enjoyed it while I worked. Dried at 45% rh and 65-68f. for 5 days. Already tastes sweet, should cure to a tasty smoke. Weight was a little low, but I did not anticipate a 100% stretch and the scrog got away from me a bit. Just over14 oz.
Next crop of this strain I’ll have it more dialed in. I’m installing new weatherstripping around the door as I believe light infiltration during dark hours (I run at night to use cold air for cooling) is responsible for the foxtailing. This is a great strain and I recommended it to anyone looking for great taste and smell.....dr
