This week again brought some nice growth! :)
I added approximately 150ml of nutrient water Monday evening wich still seemed a bit too much. I think this was because of the soil wasn’t dry enough when I watered again and so I decided to only spray the leaves with water every night and let the soil dry out for the next days.
On Thursday evening I discovered a little mushroom that had grown up the wall of the pot, which confirmed that I kept the soil too wet for the last days. 😅
During this week I also decided to promote the soils microbiome by adding mycorrhizal fungi and microbes to the soil near the stem and added around 50ml of nutrient water to activate the spores and initially feed the microbes.
The mycorrhizal-mix I decided to buy is listed on Amazon by a brand called G&G-Shop for ~5€ and I hope it will add to the plants Health as well as boost its growth.
All in all the plant grew by about 3 cm to now 10cm high and developed the first and second pair of five-tipped-leaves, although the second pair is still very small. I also noticed that two roots had already grown through the holes in the bottom of the pot by Saturday.
I’m looking forward to the coming week and, in case the plant keeps accelerating in growth, I might have to put it into its final, probably 12l pot a couple weeks before sending it into flowering.
