I have had stunted growth like this from soil that drains fast and I was not watering under the root mass. they have all recovered by now. one thing I did was poke a stick at an angle under the plant and water in the hole.

i should i know, since i changed soil and control ph level more consistent, ive seen more progress and recovery. update soon.
