Hindu Kush Automatic outdoor - Terra Preta + water grow
This one need exactly one week for germination. Directly in compost coco coir mix.
It’s my first year growing cannabis. Cause I have good experiences in permaculture vegetable growing in my garden, I decided to do things similar. And now, after collecting a bit experience in my first grow, I will again do things similar but different, too. This grow I will use field horsetail tee as the (l)only fertilizer till two weeks before the end + twice bokashi juice during vegetation.
The charcoal compost is nearly two years old. During composting process I added fermented bokashi with a lot of citrus fruit peel, egg shells, oyster shells, fishbones and vegetable waste and some chicken manure, some bat guano, dolomite rock flour, too. This well rotted compost was way too hot for potting. So this second grow will be done with a mix of charcoal compost and coco coir (~80/20). We‘ll see if this works better.
She started to stretch quite much, preflower starts. I gave a bit of Bokashi juice as well as field horsetail tee.
In general these plant and the others from this grow are larger and the distance between nodes is nearly double then in my first grow with pure charcoal compost.
This week I continued with LST and while I bend down my Kush on day 39, the stem bent over. I could fix it and within some days the plant repaired the injury quite well. At the end of the week I was surprised how good she handled this big stress. This is not the most beautiful of my plants but I love her like the other ones. 😍
I‘m not sure if this one feels happy. I see quit a lot of leaves with three feathers or even only one. I don‘t understand here for example how much water she needs. The two plants in small pots drink the morning and evening dose of water. After ~ 12 hours they need water. And this one, it’s in a bigger pot, only drys out at the surface after maybe four or five days.
The smell is amazing like spicy fried beef. Never smelled something like this before.
I don‘t know what‘s up with the Hindu Kush Auto. The plant is foxtailing and have very opened flowers. The buds have soooo many sugar leaves! Anyway, the smell is amazingly attractive to me. I‘m very interested in the result.
My Christmas tree is building up a monster headband. A very opened bud with dozens of foxtails.
The smell is still amazing, 😻 very special aroma. Can’t stop to touch her for smelling fingers. 😎 Maybe this will be for Rick Simpson oil or for tee.
Last week for my Hindu Kush Christmas tree. I guess this one got a lot of Ruderalis genes. I already tried some flowers in a fresh green tee made with fat cream and water. Let it stand for 10-15 minutes. Yummmmy! Very activating and social. Definitiv not for sleeping. But I think there could be some CBD inside.
The flowers are still curing but I already tried some in my vapo and brewed some tees for me.
Medical stuff. I really like the flavors. The high is quit soft. The strain is activating me and it’s also good to use against moderate pain or anxiety.
The visual and practical aspects take away some points. Hard to trim. The flowers look completely different then on the pictures of the breeder. Anyway I‘m lucky with the result. Special smell and taste, very unique.
